I've been eating these sandwiches since I was 12, I'm 32 now. I haven't been to Dave's in years but think about them often. I happened to be in the Rose Bowl area and decided to stop by for dinner, there's something about being welcomed and remembered by the best sandwich maker you've ever known makes these amazing tasting sandwiches that much better. Everything from the bread to the quality of the ingredients inside to the friendly smile of the Bostonian making your sandwich makes Dave's so worth the drive!

Turkey sandwich for my kids- customized by Dave to my son's liking!

Our family were STOKED when we learned that Dave's had reopened at the Pasadena Rose Bowl Aquatic Center. They were our tried and true spot back when they were in Eagle Rock. Dave's is the kind of business you want to support; great food, great people. They're now in a prime location with tons of parking, a nice little area for sitting (right outside the front entrance), and a quick walk to the brookside park/playground. Perfect for grabbing some food before or after swimming or for a day at the park. Dave really takes pride in his menu and you can taste the difference. No processed lunchmeat here! Thank you Dave and team for coming back to serve the community

Funny decor (:

The hot hippy is a must, a perfect vegetarian sandwich, filling with the perfect amount of spice! Our favorite sandwich LA spot!

Does anyone know what type of cheese the tuna melt has?

Menu says mozzarella cheese. It was definantely white on my sandwhich so that's probably a good guess. Menu on yelp may be outdated ( pictures customers posted)

I just drove to eagle rock for this and have never felt so sad. Forever legendary. This one hurts . Please tell me they moved?

They opened at the new location in Highland Park a month ago. Open everyday except Sundays!

It's always great to see pizza spots offering slices to go or slices to enjoy inside. The location on Fair Oaks in the busy streets of Old Town Pasadena. Parking garages are all nearby or street parking around the building. The location has a number of tables and TVs to enjoy the games. The staff here were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. There were an abundance of ready made slices to select. Per the staff, they have vegan cheese options for whole pizzas, but none for ready made slices. Just as an FYI. They also offer a number of sandwiches as well. The number of items is vast and of great variety. Now for the pizza. The selection was a mix NY slices and square slices. I was looking for some to go. So I decided on the squares cause I love those slices! I went with Pepperoni Grandma and a Pepperoni Honey DeNiro. The staff will heat it up for you on the oven and even cut slices in half to enjoy them. I loved the flavors and the crisp edges. It had a great crunch in each bite and taste was solid. My favorite of the too was the Pepperoni Honey DeNiro. The hot honey on this slice made this option stand out to me. The mix of sweet and savory paired with heat is my kind of combo of flavor. :) I would come back again if I'm craving pizza and would think of the trying a sandwich too in the future because their menu looked good. Thanks, Brooklyn Square! ( ^_^)b

Hurts me to write a 3-star review update, but Father Nature just isn't as good as I remember…read more Service was pretty mid; while the woman at the counter said all the right things, her tone and overall vibe just didn't feel welcoming. To be fair, I did come in after the lunch rush, so maybe it was just a long day. What really bummed me out was my order. The French Connection used to be my favorite, but this time it had way less filling and just wasn't satisfying. I also ordered a cup of chicken, which was the same small serving as before, but now it's almost $8; not really worth it for what you get. I love supporting small businesses and have enjoyed Father Nature in the past, but honestly, I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon.

There are so many Middle Eastern cafés and restaurants in town, but this one always stood out to me. It is extremely fresh and flavorful they make the food after you order and Service is warm and friendly. The quality has never wavered and trust me, I have eaten here many times. I enjoy their pressed wraps, but especially love the fries. I am picky about fries, but these are always made to order and always just perfect. It has a Middle Eastern seasoning on it which you can opt to leave off. I love them with a dipping sauce of spicy tahini, which they will provide if you ask. You can of course get it non-spicy as well. Their menu can satisfy many different diets including vegetarian/vegan, keto/low carb, pescatarian and meat eaters It's just extremely reliable and high-quality and I plan on continuing to be a regular customer.
