Kaleb advised me to place my order online early 12:55pm for pickup at the time I would like 730pm. For two days I was still unable to get any food as my order was disregarded. When I called to verify if my order would be ready, he stated he couldn't find my order. Once found he told me that he doesn't advise me to put a pickup time just place the order early. Huh? This is absurd actually and makes no sense at all. Me and my family was without for two days off of poor advice. He told me that oh you shouldn't have put a pick up time and basically my order would've still been available. It was my son's birthday and we don't get to eat out very much. He and I was so disappointed. we probably won't get the chance to return which sucks! read more

This place has the best outdoor area in town - plenty of seating both covered and uncovered, bocce, corn hole, and monthly wrestling events that are a must-see. The staff are possibly the friendliest people I've ever met. They recently expanded their menu to include nachos, salads, and (currently only on Tuesdays) tacos read more

This place is AMAZING! The macaroni and cheese may be the best I've ever had.... Literally. The brisket and pulled pork are my favorites. All of their sides are to die for. Food is always fast and fresh. Ambiance is very cute too with a nice outside area for when it's pretty out. Also- can't forget how friendly the staff is! Definitely recommend. read more

Bbq always consistently good! Great Sauces and good service! Love the brisket and collards. Only odd thing they serve is there Brunswick stew... they purée it up like baby food - strange - otherwise place is solid read more

I'm giving 4 stars because I had my order to go. I would love to return to check out the ambiance when it's busy. The smoked turkey- omg!!! Delicious! Mac n cheese was good too. read more

I spent $40 on food for my family of 3. We got brisket, pulled pork and Mac n cheese. It tasted like I was eating meat with no flavor. Absolutely no flavor for brisket and pork that was supposedly slow cooked. Pieces of the pulled pork were soggy. The food came out way too quick. They actually prepared my order right in-front of me. I've never been served so quick at a bbq place. That was suspect. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of flavor and blandness. The Mac n cheese was decent, but I've had better. read more

I love the service and food here. Every time I have visited, the food, drinks and service has been good. The ribs are the best.

Upset stomach after 1 hour of eating here our entire group got sick with diarrhea, nausea and vomiting

May have been the juciest brisket I've ever had outside of the state of Texas. Really enjoyed the cream corn and jalepeno sausage too. Probably topped Fox Bros in my opinion and that's a tall statement. read more

Respectfully being born and raised in the south( Atlanta, Georgia) this barbecue is not it. We ordered the full rack of ribs, macaroni and cheese ( terrible), collard greens ( tasted as though they were cooked in vinegar and sugar), mild sausage and pulled chicken . Our first time here and we were disappointed as the food tastes as if it's precooked , slightly warmed and not hot.Too much salt and just tasteless. It's a nice looking establishment but the food ain't it. read more

Wow, had an incredible experience catering from these guys. Starting from the beginning and getting a quote, everything was seamless. Their catering director is quick to respond to emails, sometimes working at 6am to answer my questions. They did not try to upsell me. I told them how many people were coming, how many vegetarians, and we built a menu. We definitely got more food than we needed, but 1) it's better to have extra than run out and 2) they were still far closer to an accurate guess of food needed than their competitor barbecue places. They included plates, napkins, silverware. I already had the chafing set ups but you can buy those too for face value. On the day of pick up, also seamless. They had my order hot and ready and wheeled it out to my car. Ok so now the food itself. It was all really tasty! All of guests loved it. The collards were vegetarian which is rare, but very flavorful nonetheless. The creamed corn was spicier than anticipated as well. We had 1.5 gallons of mac and cheese and it all got eaten so I'll let that speak for itself. We had pulled pork and smoked chicken. read more

Stopped here to evaluate the food. The stars are solely based on the food I selected and the service. They get a 5 for perceived cleanliness. It smells amazing in here and even more so when you are hungry. It's really clean. They are quick with a nice amount of selections. Chopped chicken sandwich... bread soft, chicken smoked well and good taste, bbq sauce on pulled chicken sandwich a bit too tart, too much vinegar in the sauce. There's a need for some brown sugar in the sauce. If that is the same sauce for all meat items they should reconsider looking at the recipe. I don't speak for everyone but definitely not a sauce I would crave. Mac n cheese ok, thick but not creamy enough. Wondering if they added flour to the Mac n cheese? Not needed. Hmm? It's definitely not terrible but not my choice on a reorder. Collard greens need a smokey flavor. Consider incorporating smoked turkey. Too much apple cider vinegar. Potato salad is just that nothing more. I will actually take it home and doctor it up a bit. Brownie! Amazing! Can't mess up a brownie. Service: because this was an evaluation and I didn't want to eat everything but taste and eat the rest later, I asked for it all to be packed to go but would still eat in. I was told at the counter that I would be making the gentleman do too much work for that option. Hmm? The restaurant was nearly empty. I will only return if I am super hungry and have no other options. Order nearing 30.00. RIP FALLEN SOLDIERS. Chicken sandwich not pictured. read more

Great bbq and amazing sides! Would definitely visit again! The BBQ sauces are phenomenal also. Especially the mustard based. read more

They sell 1 day old BBQ (which I'm not even am sure is legal) and it's in a bin. It's buy one get one free. My 1 year old loves meat and bread and isn't picky so I figured I would try it for her. I purchased it first then when I went to get it the sandwich was cold. The entire bin was cold. I told them I thought they were hot or warm and asked could they refund me. They said no. Then I asked could they at least give one fresh sandwich instead since I bought BOGO of the 1 day old ones and it should be the same price, they said no to that. I basically had to complain and refuse to leave without talking to a manager. She then told me she would credit me some money on a fresh sandwich but I ended up taking a total loss on the BOGO food. Also the "fresh" sandwich was dry and their sauces are bland. This place is overpriced and the food isn't worth the trouble. read more

Not the best ribs I've had but still pretty nice. Price was okay and the environment's really comfortable. Pretty cool place to be and very convenient from the Oakland Cemetery. read more

DAS BBQ - **RIBS 1/2 RACK **FOUNTAIN - Barbeque Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Nice outside eating area. Conveniently placed by the Oakland Cemetery. The food is not my vibe though. Wanted to order the chicken sandwich, but they were out of chicken so I got the brisket since they claimed it was a best seller. The brisket was very oily with not much flavor without a sauce. I put the coleslaw on my sandwich because that didn't stand alone either. The potato salad was fine but I personally don't like cold potato salad and it was really cold. I paid around $20. I used their high octane red sauce but was sad to see it had high fructose corn syrup in it. It's just fast food bbq. My food was no where near hot. I wouldn't try again, kind had my stomach hurting afterwards. But hey, I was hungry and it was near by. I forgot to get a picture of the sandwich. read more

I ordered my food to go when I was at Das BBQ. I had an order of chopped chicken, half, and a side of collards. The food was pre packaged in a warmer so it was not hot. The chicken was good and I liked that the collards were vegan. The container with the chicken I felt like could have had a little more chicken added to fill up the container. There is indoor and outdoor seating at this restaurant. There are a few parking spaces in the back of the restaurant and a lot of street parking in the surrounding area. read more

They have mastered brisket. Came late so they were out of ribs, chicken was suggested but wound up not eating it. Just didn't appeal. The Mac is good especially for a bbq place as they tend to have velvet like Mac. Beans are good, the pineapple adds a lil bite and some sweetness but felt there was too much. Brisket quesadilla was to die for, straight up brisket was good, and the corn stuff was nasty. read more

First time I came here a few months ago, they ran out of everything. Second time I came here today, the brisket was extremely dry. The pulled pork was good. Mac and cheese was solid, and the potato salad was tasteless. I saw zero smoker activity. Very likely the brisket was made yesterday and reheated today. That explains the dry meat. I LOVED the original DAS on Collier. Clearly they just aren't the same any more. read more

Lunch party of 4. Easy parking. Got a thorough tour of the smokers before we ordered. This was fun! Brisket was amazing. Ask for fatty or lean according to your liking. They will accommodate. Corn was fantastic. Would order these two items again in a heartbeat. Wouldn't order the chicken wings or garlic sausage. Very friendly and courteous staff. Recommend this restaurant in full. I will eat here the next time I am in town without a doubt. read more

Oh. My. God. I'm not particularly a BBQ type of gal, but I can say that DAS BBQ has certainly changed my mind. The brisket. The ribs. The SAUCE. It is addicting. Get the brunswick stew--its an absolute must. They have plenty of seating outside, corn hole, very cute decor, a fire pit. Plenty of street parking. I can go on and on. Give this place a shot--you WONT regret. read more

We came here after a walk at Oakland cemetery for a snack. My sister and I shared a side of Brunswick stew and mac and cheese and both were very good! We got saltines to try their sauces on and the peach one was shockingly pleasant! They had smokers outside cooking and it was a very interesting way to enter the restaurant. One thing that I loved is that they had a sink washing station in thw dining area and not just the bathrooms, which meant we could easily wash our hands and not have to go into the bathroom. The bathrooms were stalls and nice and clean :-) read more

Not really a BBQ joint. More of a bar/event space selling pre-packaged food. If you want honest traditional BBQ, there are plenty of good places around. I had the pork sandwich, stew, slaw, and potato salad. The stew surprised me with a lot of heat that would be more appropriate with chili. The pork was mushy, like it had been in the warming cabinet too long and the pre-packaged sauce did little to enhance the bland taste of the meat. Potato salad was surprisingly good and the slaw unremarkable. read more

The meat was very tender, smoked right outside. The smell inside was amazing. All the sides were homemade and delicious! Everyone was very polite and brought our food right to us. read more

I just finished a take out meal from Das bbq on Memorial Drive. I bragged to a friend from out of town that it was arguably the best brisket I ever had. I warned that it was important to order from the Memorial Drive location. I am dissappointed that the brisket I had today was not moist, was crumbly and too fatty. The Das brisket has been great in the past but the inconsistency of the preparation and cook on the brisket from place to place and now from time to time leaves me dissapointed. read more

Great service. Good ribs, sausage and pork but pork a little sweet. Collard are tasty but mac&shells were dry. It has great outdoor area.

I love this place. Especially since starting my carnivore diet. They're super great about little requests. Chopped Fatty Brisket is the best! Love the pork as well, but always a win with Brisket. read more

The restaurant is beautiful. I came in on a Saturday and the restaurant was empty. (That should have been a red flag!). I ordered the chicken and ribs combo. I thought the chicken was pulled chicken but it's actually slices of a boneless chicken breast. The ribs taste like they were baked and thrown into a smoker for a smoke taste. I didn't like any of it. read more

Tried picking up a to-go order on 11/3/24 at 7:20pm the person at the window told me it had already been picked up but they would check. They came back and told me the order was gone so I called Uber to have it cancelled. The Uber rep told me that the order was at the store... I went back and the same person told me the order wasn't there and they would get their manager. A few mins later they opened the window and gave me the cold food. Stating it had been there all along. The protocol here is no efficient id avoid. read more

Great atmosphere, the employees are nice and personable. The baked beans with the pineapple is incredible. The Mac n cheese is on point. Chopped chicken and the ribs are great. The brisket and wings are decent but the overall experience is 5 stars from me. read more

I've heard good things about Das BBQ for awhile and wanted to give it a shot for myself. Came during that odd time between lunch and dinner in the afternoon. Ordered wings and Brunswick stew and they were pulled out immediately, not made to order. I was disappointed in the wings size and texture. The sauce options were very good. The Brunswick stew had a great taste and tang to it. I would definitely go back but would want to try something other than the wings. Great atmosphere with a lot of space and TVs. read more

Man, I was really surprised. The ribs were really tender. The Brunswick Stew... BOOM !! Best I've had... and I've had a lot in my 60yrs. Smoked sausage was ok. Pretty solid place with a great outdoor patio right down the street from us. We've gotten the ribs, brisket, pulled pork sandwich, spicy sausage, mac n cheese, creamed corn, and banana pudding. Everything was delicious. My husband is a banana pudding connoisseur and he gave it 5 stars. Honestly one of the things I love most about the place is the instant gratification - they literally pull it out from their warming fridges (?) as you order so there's literally no wait. People who work here are also awesome and all super friendly. Will definitely be back! read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my bbq my friend and I came here on Memorial Day looking for some bbq we were going to go to Tin Lizzys at first and saw this place quickly turned around to try it out. It was pretty packed parking wise but we lucked up and found a spot in the gravel lot next to the building. Once inside we were able to join a short like they were pumping that meat out like clock work the ribs, chicken and brisket all looked amazing it was hard to choose. I went with the brisket sandwich, collards and mac, my friend had the ribs and same sides. The brisket sandwich was LOADED with meat and it was super tender. The ribs were falling off the bone. The collards were cooked very well and were tender. The Mac was good but not like that southern home bbq but good enough for the meal and a quick in & out option. We literally got our food in less than 10 min on a holiday. I will not complain. Seating was ample we found a spot on the patio facing the street and it was spacious enough to social distance. I'd definitely come here again for a quick southern bbq fix. read more

Texas experience even down to the parking. You park down a gravel path that's conveniently beside the restaurant. The line was short because the food is ready upon ordering. I ordered 1/2 order of ribs with collard greens and a shiner glass of beer. The meat is perfectly cooked and just falls off the bone. You could eat it alone without any sauce or dip. I did have it with their house bbq sauce and though I cannot say it is my favorite bbq sauce, it was good. The collard greens taste slightly sweet which I don't prefer. They only have two hot sauce options and when I recommended Texas Pete, the recommendation was debated against by either a manager or owner. I understand that when it's your baby, it's difficult to accept feedback but it's also good to accept feedback whether you implement it or not. In my opinion, there is not one hot sauce fits all so I stand by the fact that they should offer a greater variety of hot sauces specially to balance the sweet of the collard greens and/or the lack of heat in their sauces. My friend who has been here twice now, would describe their food as "Texas style cooked meat and Georgia sides." Great service and great place to get in a couple of rounds of cornhole. read more

DAS BBQ - 1/2 order of ribs and collard greens - Barbeque Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Decent BBQ, but I am not sure about the sauces. I know BBQ and sauce can be a very personal thing considering where you come and what you grew up on. I'm a Carolina girl, so these didn't really fit the profile I am used to. They have a red sauce which seemed to have some flavor I couldn't put my finger on maybe coffee or maybe some dark molasses...not sure, a peach (which is mustard based), and a MOPP sauce which is vinegar based--but Nothing quite like NC vinegar BBQ. The spicy sausage was fantastic...perfect amount of spice and the Mac n Cheese was great! All in all, I will be back and will definitely bring the hubby! read more

Garbage bbq. Find a dude with a smoker all over east atl and you'll be much happier. The food comes out quicker than McDonalds, suspect as hell. I've had better hospital fixins (no lie).
