This is a 3.5 star review. Overall, the bbq was good but not the best that I've had. A few things that I loved: - the service was great. Every employee there was very nice, checked up on our table multiple times and truly took care of you - the watermelon slushee margarita packs a punch and you will not be disappointed - the location is perfect because there are so many things to do in the area - the restaurant itself is very spacious and perfect for dining with kids or large groups. They also have indoor and outdoor seating Where it was lacking for me was the food. The smoked chicken was good but a bit dry in some areas. The potato salad was good but the potatoes could have been a bit softer and smaller. The collard greens were my favorite but they weren't kidding when they said it was spicy.
The food was FANTASTIC!! TV's to watch the football games and the garage doors were up - no bugs but plenty of fresh air.. it was a beautiful day! Our server, DaShawna was the best!! Kind, patient, offered great selections and payed attention to us; checking in but not bothering. Her ghost earrings were adorable!! The manager, Ashley, also checked in. Sweet, offered us take out containers and was genuinely nice. This visit was an awesome one! See you soon!!

The location was easy to get to and the interior was bright and festive. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately the food is where the stars had to fall off. The Texas fries were yummy and the wings were good. Unfortunately, the meats on the plate were dry and funny enough, the one meat that was moist was a substitute. They ran out of spare ribs so we ended up trying the chicken fried ribs and they were the most moist. They had started running out of food by the time we got there so what was left maybe had been sitting for a while? As far as the sides, the Mac n cheese was cheesy and thick but that's about it. The collards were flavorful but not very spicy.
Checked out this location for a family dinner. The OG location has been my favorite for years. The first two hours of parking are free in The Works parking deck which is a plus. This location is easy to access across from the food hall. We dined late on a Monday night so unfortunately they were out of ribs but were able to still order a variety of meats. The interior was very spacious and our server was really fun and personable. We started with the fried pickles for the group as an appetizer. The pickles batter was not that appealing but the taste was good. I had the pulled pork sandwich plate with baked beans. The pulled pork had some charred bites so was not a fan which was disappointing as that is usually my go to. My husband had the combo plate with pulled chicken and sausage that he really liked. Other family members had the mushroom sandwich and smoked wings which they loved. Would give this location another shot but would probably go earlier in the day when there are ribs available and meats are fresh.
This place never disappoints. The food was delicious and flavorful. The service was very efficient and parking it is right across the street. The restaurant has plenty of light and spacious. If you are in this area and wondering what to eat. Lay them a visit. Plenty of sides and plenty of meats.
Placed a to-go order yesterday and decided to grab a mocktail at the bar while I waited. The space gives a typical bbq spot so you can wear casual attire. The service at the to-go station was excellent. He was friendly, thorough, and patient with my questions. The bartender, on the other hand, seemed like she didn't want to be bothered, but honestly...the food completely redeemed the experience. The food. The food. The food. 10/10. The brisket? Falls apart the moment you pick it up and is packed with flavor. The ribs have this perfect touch of sweetness that takes them over the top. And the wings? smoky, juicy, and well-seasoned. Honestly ate everything without the sauce. It was THAT good! My husband eats BBQ a lot and we've been to plenty of places, but this is by far the best BBQ I've had in Georgia. Already planning our next visit!

Fox Bros is one of my family's go to spots for when they have guests in town in Atlanta. There's a wide variety of meats and a little of something for everyone when it comes to sides. Highlights for me were the pulled chicken and the blue cheese wedge. There are also lots of options for the bbq experts who want different cuts and ways of cooking. We always order double of the mac and cheese. The servers are attentive and the overall atmosphere is very casual.
I've always enjoyed FB but never actually ate IN a restaurant. I enjoyed the vibes of this space. Not too crowded. The staff was very helpful and had a great vibe. The bar has an outdoor walk up which I thought was cool! We got a rib plate and a jalapeno cheddar sausage. I had a frozen sangria and he had the frozen limeade with a shot of tequila. I enjoyed this location & plan to visit others.
Great food! Perfectly cooked! Service was reslly great. I didn't have to ask for refills lol. It looks good inside and out. Loved the mood of this place
Food was great with just the right amount of char on the meat, seasoning and portion. I love love love the butter for the corn bread! It is a MUST try!!! Seating was a hard wood bench chair and stiff. Perhaps add cushions? Ehhh, idk

My goodness...I've had my fare share of BBQ spots but damn...when I say good it's an understatement. The vibe chill, laid back, nice, the service was great, and the food to qoute Guy Fieri "FLAVOR-TOWN"...of course I had to venture into The BC Plate (had to try it all lol) wifey weathered the Pull Pork sandwhich, young ones went the rib plate route..wow....we came back to Atlanta 2 more times just to eat here lol..highly recommended of your a BBQ fan, or love good flavorfull food in general.

Decent bbq. Our favorites were the spare ribs and the brisket (recommend sliced not chopped). Pulled pork and catfish (Friday special) were also fine - preferred the catfish. I enjoyed the Cole slaw and Mac and cheese sides as well as the hush puppies. Beans were also fine (sweet); collard greens and spicy green beans were mushy. Service was friendly and food came out fast. Spacious interior - no need for a reservation at least not for a weekday lunch (we went on a Friday). read more

Smelled so good we had to try. I was in Atlanta for work and I always try and grab some bbq when I'm in the south. Everyone staff person was really warm and friendly. We went on a Monday so there was 0 crowd but I heard it gets busy on the weekends. Brisket was tasty and I was told you judge a bbq place on their Brunswick stew. Theirs was great! Mac and cheese always a go to fav. Would come back again! read more
I was so wanting to love this place, boy was I disappointed!! The service, location and outdoor sitting is totally my vibe! But the food is where everything went wrong! I ordered ribs, brisket, greens and Frito pie ... The sides were decent, but the ribs and brisket were the worst I've ever had! The ribs were dry and hard! They weee almost the texture of jerky! The brisket was dry and it appeared to be old!!! I may give the original location a try!! Maybe!! But I'll never come back to this location! read more

Came in for a random date night. I usually do to the Dekalb location. The customer service was good. The restaurant wasn't to packed but we did go in on a workday as well and sat at the bar. We started off with a Frose which was sweet and refreshing. My boyfriend had a drink tequila based cocktail. They ran out of bbq ribs so we got a order of fried ribs and a dinner plate with fried ribs. The collard greens were good! But the mac n cheese wasn't what I was use to. It was super dry and lacked flavor. read more

This place is always a treat. This time I had the chicken salad and it did not disappoint. If you're not a chicken salad person get the smoked turkey or brisket fries. You really can't beat the service and location. read more

I have been to Fox Bros venues multiple times but this is my first time at this location. They have a parking garage and parking lot where you do pay for parking if you stay longer than 2 hours. The two cocktails I ordered are called Ace in the Hole and Cobbler Smash. The Ace in the Hole is a pretty strong drink and is their version of an Old Fashioned. The Cobbler Smash also has bourbon with fruit and syrup to make it sweeter. I like both a lot but I will take the Ace for the alcohol content. For food, I ordered the 2 meat combo with sides. The meat was Brisket with some fat and smoked turkey. Both portions were large and tasted great. The turkey even came with a white sauce. The sides were frito pie which is my favorite and collard greens which tasted amazing and had meat in it. This place got packed quickly for a Thursday. Must be a sign of how good and popular they are. I wouldn't mind coming back. read more
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. I've been to Fox Bros before, but it was a different location and it's also been a while. Ambiance/Vibe 5/5 The ambiance and vibe are cool. It's nothing super fancy and doesn't need to be. I mean, it's a BBQ spot, after all! However, it is nicely decorated and maybe a bit nicer than you might expect a BBQ spot to be. Service 5/5 I can remember our server name, but she was awesome and easily took care of our large group (there were 10 of us) without any issues. The bar accidentally poured an extra beer, and she was kind enough to bring it to me Food 5/5 Let me tell y'all something... have you ever had fried ribs? Babeeeeyyyy... when I tell you, you need to RUN NEOWWWWWW to your nearest location and order some IMMEDIATELY. My goodness!!! Someone needs to be slapped for coming up with this. Very much #BigBactivities and I'm here for it! Of course, the brisket is bomb as well. I love a good brisket, and they do NOT disappoint! Also had the jalapeño sausage . Greens were good as well. The mac was ok. I would, however, pass on the cornbread . It was fine but nothing to write home about. Drinks 5/5 I had the cobbler smash, and when I tell you, I took the last part of that name very seriously and SMASHED that drink. It was sooooooo good! Then I followed up with a beer (then the complimentary accidentally poured beer). Final Verdict 5/5 Lord Wellington Approved Highly recommend Fox Bros. The food is amazing. We ordered a brisket, rib tips or short ribs, and burger. We did have a wait time but it was around evening rush hours which is probably why. But service was great from start to end. I loved their fries, it was definitely seasoned well. And their ribs were so delicious & melting. This place is at The Works so parking and the area was great. read more
My friends and I came here on a Friday night without any reservations which was not a problem as there were still plenty of tables available to pick from (indoor and outdoor, perfect for all year around!). It's very family friendly with plenty of space between tables, well lit, and not too loud. Between 4 people we ordered full portions for everything including two jalapeño and cheddar cheese sausages, brisket (half & half), chicken wings with wet sauce, spare ribs plus a veggie plate. The table favorites were definitely the ribs, wings, and brisket. Of the sides we got, the brussel sprouts and baked beans were eaten quickly. Overall, we had a good experience with our friendly and attentive waiter. However, the prices are kind of high with smaller portions that I would have expected with BBQ. Wouldn't mind coming again but would also rather check out another one of the other options nearby! read more

Ended up here with a very large group and they were accommodating with zero issues. I started off with the fried ribs and this is such an easy recommendation. It's salty, juicy, and meaty. I wish more bbq restaurants would try their hand at this. The chicken was smoked perfectly and was still juicy. I've never heard of or seen a frito pie so I knew I had for try it--it was fine but nothing to write home about, which was how I felt about the Brussel sprouts. We were served brisket for the table but it was cold and dry. There's a few local beers worth checking out too. Overall, a really solid barbecue joint. read more

Who knew some of the best Texas BBQ was in Atlanta? Certainly not me. But Fox Bros BBQ proved me wrong and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. We stopped in for lunch yesterday and were seated within 5 minutes of arrival and then promptly greeted by our server. I went for the brisket burger (phenomenal) and my boyfriend ordered the wings and ribs combo which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our food was brought out quite quickly and man oh man was it tasty. Whatever sauce they put on the brisket burger is *chef's kiss*. The only item I didn't care for was the cornbread which had jalapeños in it and I'm not a fan. I kind of wish our server let us know this before ordering but it was only $2 so I'm not terribly upset over it. The decor and ambiance inside was definitely tastefully done and had a welcoming vibe. Oh and all of their bathrooms are gender neutral individual rooms which was nice and private. read more
After hearing so much about Fox Bros I was super excited to try this place! According to our very own Yelp, Fox Bros has the #1 burger in the US! To clarify, this technically isn't a burger in the classic sense - it's a brisket sandwich presented in burger fashion. At this location, the famous burger is actually not listed on the menu - there's another menu item called the "World Famous Big Tex" which is also a brisket sandwich, but it's not the same! I clarified this with our waiter before ordering. So is the burger worth the hype?? Kinda - it's good, though pricey ($17), but if you're looking for a true burger this is not it. I disagree that this is THE BEST "burger" in the US but it's not bad by any means. I did get many ooo's and aaaa's from the other people in my party that weren't aware of it. The burger comes with a bag of chips or you can upgrade to a side for an extra $1. Service was great - our waiter was super attentive, often bringing out refills before they were even requested. The inside is spacious and clean. I would highly recommend that this place invest in felt circles for their chairs. When people drag the chair in and out to sit, it scrapes against the floor making a loud and annoying noise. Parking is free for 2 hours in either of the parking decks - just make sure you have the park mobile app to register your car! read more
I thought the original Fox Bros was good but I am obsessed with this location!!! It is absolutely massive which is already a huge plus!!! We had a party of 3 and came in on a Friday night around 8pm and got seated immediately. It was super family friendly! To start we got the fried pickles and jalapeño and wow these were PIPING HOT AND SO MANY OF THEM!! We had barely made a dent before our food came. For the main I got the big Tex melt (brisket sandwich basically) with fries. Fries were well seasoned and that brisket was to die for. Truly can't ask for better! read more
I have been such a huge fan of Fox Bros for years, so I was excited to finally check out their new location at the Works! Parking at the Works can be tricky, but I think the hype has finally died down and we were able to find parking in the deck pretty easily. They also validate free parking for 2 hours so that was super nice! I love that this new location is so BIG! The original Dekalb Ave location is always so crowded and you can always expect a wait, so I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were seated in their new, fresh space. We ordered a half & half platter of fried pickles and jalapeno chips which were delicious and we loved the buttermilk ranch it came with (so zesty!!). For our meal, my friends and I got the Big Tex and smoked chicken. With my Big Tex, I also got an order of mac n cheese. I normally get ribs, so this was my first time trying the Big Tex but this did not disappoint!! I loved how juicy the brisket was, and pickles and mustard cut through in such a great way. The mac n cheese too was so delicious and homestyle. Overall, Fox Bros never disappoints and I will be returning!! read more
Ate here tonight with my son and husband. My son had the brisket with Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts. All was excellent. The brussel sprouts are fabulous here. The meat was a nice balance of fatty and lean, flavorful and a generous portion. My husband had the fries with brisket, cheese, bbq sauce, and jalapeños. I had the same but with pulled pork instead of brisket. It is really good but we should have shared one order! We're here at 8:30 on a Friday night. It is busy but far from crowded. Nice location and wonderful service. Great meal. read more
Love coming here with family out of town- they are quick for service and the portions are huge so I suggest splitting a meal. I get a side salad and a meal and split it with someone because a burger there is close to 3 servings! Usually summertime sitting outside is the best but football was on inside for the winter and it's just as good. Recommended getting the half and half appetizer of jalapeño and fried pickles the serving is huge for the price and comes with ranch. read more
Great ribs, great briskets, and a great Vegan-friendly burger. Fox Bros is the perfect spot to grab some grub. You can either get a spot in the restaurant, at the bar patio outside, or just grab to-go in the dedicated to-go line. They happened to have some live music the Friday evening we were there as well. Would recommend this spot! read more

Is there usually enough bbq by 7pm to bring a big group of around 10? Or does the bbq start selling out much earlier?
I went around 8pm on Saturday. They were low on smoked turkey. They had everything else. There was loads of people coming after us. I think you'll be fine
