It looks so bad!! There's even a piece of dust/brush hair stuck!

It was an hour until closing so I called to see if they would still be able to accommodate me. I was told to come in, no problem. My manicure looks awful. I could tell it was rushed when I left but it didn't look AS bad until I got home and allowed my nails to dry longer. I don't know if it was because the polish they were using was old (I saw them add acetone drops to the bottle several times), the guy who did my nails didn't know what he was doing, or because everything was rushed so they can finish by closing time. Perhaps some combination of the three. Gel topcoat was used on regular polish that may not have been given enough time to dry despite using the mini fan. Overall, the manicure was a BIG waste of money. There's even a piece of dust or brush hair stuck in one of the nails! My pedicure looked good at least.

I really like that they make sure your fingers are nice and moist dipping them in water they take the time to clean cuticles well. They also give you a hand and arm massage in the end which I love. Many nail places don't do that anymore. Even expensive ones that I've been to don't do that at all so I appreciate it in this place that they still do that. They have a variety of color to choose from which is awesome! Today I only spent $30 that's including my $5 tip for a Gel Manicure YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT PRICE!!!!! I will be returning!

They have great prices. I think my nails turned out really cute. Also, I had no nail pain. Sometimes, depending on the salon, my nails hurt while getting them done. The person who did them used the blue light a lot. They look really good, but I'm not used to using the blue nail light so much. I took a star away because I think the shop needs a good cleaning. Other than nail polish everywhere, it's a cozy little place.

Tony is great! I came in needing a fill on a set of nails that weren't originally done very well. He said not to worry he would fix and fill them to make them look more natural. They look great! Thanks Tony!! Definitely recommend it here. They are friendly and care about the work they do.

I've lived in Azusa for years and always past through this nail place but never came in until today. First and for most it's was very easy to book an appointment , The staff is quiet but friendly. I came in asking for a full set , medium long with a white thin French tip to the upper and side of my nail, I'm very particular when it comes to my nails and let me tell you the man is on point with detail, he then asked his daughter to do the fine lines , I was iffy about it but she blew me away , her steady hands to the fine lines were on POINT!! Didn't get their names but GREAT JOB!

So I did not have an appointment this evening I called last minute and they were kind enough to take me in! I would have just been grateful for any service since it was so last minute!however they literally gave me top notch service my nails look amazing using the best pedicure I've ever had so so I highly recommend Tony at at darling Nails and his wife they do excellent quality work!!! Definitely make an appointment though! They get busy I just got blessed this evening!

Came here on a Tuesday within an hour of closing time (around 6:15pm), and they still happily took me without an appointment. This was my first time here and I just decided to take a chance and try this place out since it was at a convenient location for me. She took her time with my nails, had pleasant conversation, and got my Gel French Tips done at a decent price, just the way I wanted them! Very pleased, and definitely will be coming back!

My first time going to a nail salon for a while and they're a husband wife business and they accepted me right away and even let me to take the time to show the inspired photos and did it the way I wanted it the design did come out a little messy but it was totally fine because my nails are small regardless but I love my first set ever read more

I went there for second time. first time only for a full and Joe said last person didn't know how to do nails and he didn't do much better. I have previously been to this nail salon for other times and when Kim did my nails, she was absolutely amazing. I called prior to going in today to ask if they could do an ombré French tip with gel and I was told to come in and they would do it. Once I got there Tony said he could not do it with gel. I stated that I've had it done with gel before and he said he would do one finger for me to see. It did not look anything like a French tip ombré so I opted to go for the powder that they suggested. Tony told me he had to trim my cuticles, but neglected to mention there was an additional charge attached to that service. I did not have acrylic supplied because I have my nails grown out to my preferred length and shaped already. He filed my nails down so much that my nails hurt to the touch after the service. He did another sample finger so I could see how the dip would turn out and after I stated that I liked it he made a weird comment about how he put in a lot of effort and I didn't even like it. I had to correct him and tell him that I did want to go ahead with the powder set. The process for Tony to apply the powder was fine, but when he started filing my nails after he ended up making five of my fingers bleed. The nails turned out beautiful, but I have cuts on five of my fingers that kept bleeding after I left the salon and my fingernails are all very tender. This was honestly the worst experience I've had getting my nails done because the vibe Tony created made me feel very unwelcome. read more

I came here on 2/27/2021 for the 1st time for a quick mani (no gel) and eyebrow. they only charge $10 for a reg mani which I thought was pretty inexpensive. Someone took me right away and she ended up convincing me to get gel for $20 total which I still think is pretty good. My lady did a great job and its almost a week later and my nails still look new and good condition. ONLY thing I didn't like it that my lady kept making little rude remarks saying "why don't you wax your face, you have alot of hair" or "its been a long time since you did a mani, you have a lot of skin". I don't think she meant to be malicious but it is still rude to say stuff like that to customers. Anyway, I would recommend cuz she did do a good shaping job on my brows. Total I paid $20 mani + $8 eye brow + $2 tip = $30. and the place was pretty nice and clean, as well. If you plan to come here, its cash only. At least for now or when I went. read more

Came here today and noticed that they charge an extra $3 for the SHAPE of your acrylics now. They also charge extra for certain nail colors that are not gel. Come on now. Really?! I think that's pushing it. Also I got a pedicure and this lady I've never seen before cut me twice! Ugh. I will not be coming back here. I thought it was just me and my feet, but as I was drying my feet the next lady was complaint about the same thing to her. This new lady is rough and just lost a customer. Also, while scrubbing my feet she was scrubbing my feet raw. I literally yelled out in pain! I did not leave a tip. read more

I literally just got my nails done here a few minutes ago. I was their last customer for the day. As promised, I told them that I would write them a good review as soon as I got home. I found this hidden gem through yelp. The nail salon is in one of those complexes that you would pass by and just notice that it's there. Well, I'm glad that I came here. I got gel for both my mani and pedi and they turned out so well! One of my pet peeves whenever I get my nails done somewhere (esp. if it's gel), is when the manicurist somehow misses painting the sides of my nails. It's not a good look. But over here, I don't have to worry because they pay attention to detail. The staff is extremely friendly, the salon is clean, and they keep their tools sanitized. I will continue to keep coming back here. This is my new go-to place to get my nails done. read more

This review is more of a 2.5 star than 3 I didn't wanna be mean and put only 2. I went in for a gel manicure and it was DEAD. Only one lady there. She took me and said I only could get that cuz she had an appointment and anything else would take too long (it's okay I'll get my feet done somewhere else). Any way. The overall feeling is just eh. Not horrible. Not great. Just EH. The place is small and crowded and not very clean. Nail color selection is alright. Prices were standard. $20 plus $1 charge for card (still don't get why places do that). And my paint job was kind of lumpy plus she cut my finger not once but twice which was a no no. The lady was super sweet and not rude so that was the only genuine plus. I probably won't come back but it was an emergency that I needed my gel mani. Overall, eh. read more

I actually came in because they had good reviews and I love down the street .I came in with my mother and sisters and everyone got something done . I got acrylic the lady had bad attitude from the start . She asked me the shape I wanted my mails and I said oval ....$3 extra -.- Glitter $5 extra -.- After I said no thank you , she was mad so she handled my finger a little rough . Tony and his wife do a great job best manicures and pedicures. They are very affordable. I love that I can make an appointment prior, so convenient no wait! Don't waste your money! I went to this place 3 weeks ago. I was leaving for Cancun the next day and wanted festive looking nails. I found a picture on their yelp page and showed them the design i wanted. Tony did a good job on my actual nails, but the woman who did the design really needs more practice. The design looks like confetti, NOT like the leopard print i requested. Now if that wasn't bad enough, i got a pedicure, only I didn't! The bottoms of my feet were NEVER touched and they never put any lotion on my feet, so no massage. The final nail in the coffin was that i waited an hour before they even started on me. read more

I've never had a great nail salon experience until I came here. The best part is I randomly chose the salon while in Covina getting my car fixed (I'm from Pasadena). Tony and Kim let me take my time to figure out my colors and jewels and my nails turned out fabulously. The color selection is crazy, you could come for years and never have to settle for the same color. And their jewel selection is the biggest I've seen so far and cheap ($3-$4) but they look expensive! From now on I'll be making the drive out to get my nails done by them. Never been here but will be coming back. Made an appointment at 530, was out by 615. Got a gel French tip manicure (no acrylics). Regular French tip pedicure. Was $43. These ladies took their time and were detail oriented. Prices are good and so is service. Might want to make an appointment because there were plenty of people waiting and more coming in every few minutes read more

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

First time I come here at this nail store, I had a very bad experience last time I went to another store with my sister so I went on yelp and this store had good reviews. I first went in as a customer and the service was here was great they were at service when I first walked in and hey were very very busy they treated me and my sister like a family. I have never seen and y store with so many nail polish hey had over 650 gel colors they really had very good colors it was hard to choose. Regular colors had over 700 colors . They are very careful and took there time when there were customers waiting for them the store is small but very clean. I barley moved to Azusa from Baldwin park and when it comes to my nail I am very picky. The first time I came to darling nails with my daughter. I got a full set and pedicure and my daughter got a gel mani pedi. I really like how the ladies did my pedicure because they took their time and the man tony that did my full set was really good. He did it exactly like how I wanted it. The lady Kim that did my daughter gel mani did an excellent job too my daughter really like her gel manicure. Darling Nails is a fabulous salon with high end, quality work. Tony and Kim are consistent with their precise techniques. Gel manicures are beyond amazing and I have not come across another salon who does such an excellent job. The new spa chair provides a relaxing environment while enjoying a pedicure, and it was definitely a great addition to the services being provided. I've been going to this nail salon for about a year every time flawless! They are very kind. Efficient and professional at what they do, don't listen to those reviews that say otherwise because my nails are STRONG and stay on forever! It's unbelievable how strong my nails were (I do acrylics) they do everything in detail and make sure it's durable and detailed instead of RUSH like these other people want. Do you want quality? Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The staff was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unwilling to help with even basic concerns. Communication was a mess, promises were not kept, and the quality of service was far below acceptable standards. It honestly felt like they cared more about taking money than treating customers properly. I wasted my time, energy, and patience dealing with this place. I really like this place. The owner is really friendly and they treat you like family. Tony does my full set and i really like it. Kim does my gel manicure sometimes and i absolutely love it. They have to so choices in color, they have all the good brands like OPI and Essies. The place is very clean and elegant. Each costumer gets their own tool box. My nails are very, very thin and Tony works hard to keep them looking beautiful while taking care that neither my nail beds or skin are damaged.
