It was an hour until closing so I called to see if they would still be able to accommodate me. I was told to come in, no problem. My manicure looks awful. I could tell it was rushed when I left but it didn't look AS bad until I got home and allowed my nails to dry longer. I don't know if it was because the polish they were using was old (I saw them add acetone drops to the bottle several times), the guy who did my nails didn't know what he was doing, or because everything was rushed so they can finish by closing time. Perhaps some combination of the three. Gel topcoat was used on regular polish that may not have been given enough time to dry despite using the mini fan. Overall, the manicure was a BIG waste of money. There's even a piece of dust or brush hair stuck in one of the nails! My pedicure looked good at least. read more

First time here today. Found them on yelp. Decided to give them a try. I really like that they make sure your fingers are nice and moist dipping them in water they take the time to clean cuticles well. They also give you a hand and arm massage in the end which I love. Many nail places don't do that anymore. Even expensive ones that I've been to don't do that at all so I appreciate it in this place that they still do that. I have previously been to this nail salon for other times and when Kim did my nails, she was absolutely amazing. I called prior to going in today to ask if they could do an ombré French tip with gel and I was told to come in and they would do it. Once I got there Tony said he could not do it with gel. I stated that I've had it done with gel before and he said he would do one finger for me to see. It did not look anything like a French tip ombré so I opted to go for the powder that they suggested. Tony told me he had to trim my cuticles, but neglected to mention there was an additional charge attached to that service. I did not have acrylic supplied because I have my nails grown out to my preferred length and shaped already. He filed my nails down so much that my nails hurt to the touch after the service. He did another sample finger so I could see how the dip would turn out and after I stated that I liked it he made a weird comment about how he put in a lot of effort and I didn't even like it. I had to correct him and tell him that I did want to go ahead with the powder set. The process for Tony to apply the powder was fine, but when he started filing my nails after he ended up making five of my fingers bleed. The nails turned out beautiful, but I have cuts on five of my fingers that kept bleeding after I left the salon and my fingernails are all very tender. This was honestly the worst experience I've had getting my nails done because the vibe Tony created made me feel very unwelcome. read more

I came here on 2/27/2021 for the 1st time for a quick mani (no gel) and eyebrow. they only charge $10 for a reg mani which I thought was pretty inexpensive. My lady did a great job and its almost a week later and my nails still look new and good condition. ONLY thing I didn't like it that my lady kept making little rude remarks saying "why don't you wax your face, you have alot of hair" or "its been a long time since you did a mani, you have a lot of skin". I don't think she meant to be malicious but it is still rude to say stuff like that to customers. Anyway, I would recommend cuz she did do a good shaping job on my brows. I literally just got my nails done here a few minutes ago. I was their last customer for the day. As promised, I told them that I would write them a good review as soon as I got home. I found this hidden gem through yelp. The nail salon is in one of those complexes that you would pass by and just notice that it's there. Well, I'm glad that I came here. I got gel for both my mani and pedi and they turned out so well! One of my pet peeves whenever I get my nails done somewhere (esp. if it's gel), is when the manicurist somehow misses painting the sides of my nails. It's not a good look. But over here, I don't have to worry because they pay attention to detail. The staff is extremely friendly, the salon is clean, and they keep their tools sanitized. She took me and said I only could get that cuz she had an appointment and anything else would take too long (it's okay I'll get my feet done somewhere else). Any way. The overall feeling is just eh. Not horrible. Not great. Just EH. The place is small and crowded and not very clean. Nail color selection is alright. Prices were standard. $20 plus $1 charge for card (still don't get why places do that). And my paint job was kind of lumpy plus she cut my finger not once but twice which was a no no. I've never had a great nail salon experience until I came here. The best part is I randomly chose the salon while in Covina getting my car fixed (I'm from Pasadena). Tony and Kim let me take my time to figure out my colors and jewels and my nails turned out fabulously. The color selection is crazy, you could come for years and never have to settle for the same color. And their jewel selection is the biggest I've seen so far and cheap ($3-$4) but they look expensive! From now on I'll be making the drive out to get my nails done by them.
