Each time I have come in they have tasted fresh and you know they change their oil often. Have you had a place where you can taste that the oil has not been changed for quite some time? I have. This place has not given me that and it shows. The person that owns this place is always friendly as well and makes me comfortable with a quick chat before having to go back and make another batch of doughnuts. It is always super clean in the shop, but it is not a place to sit and eat. Definitely go in and grab the goodies and be on your next destination type of area. I really enjoy the fritters here and the maple bars. No crazy fancy doughnuts here if that's what you're looking for. But they do have bacon maple bars.

I specifically was seeking out Sky River Bakery on 3/15/25. I lucked out with a nearby parking spot and had an opportunity to check out the pastry case offerings while in line. There's also a few tables to dine at onsite. Pleasant small town, neighborhood feel. Both folks behind the counter were welcoming and kindly answered my questions. Nice assortment of beverages and baked goods available like biscuits, cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, and other pastries. The person ahead of me made it a point to have biscuits and gravy plus cinnamon rolls to go. Cinnamon roll got my attention! I ended up ordering a ham & cheese biscuit - got two mini ones for the price of one, plus a cinnamon roll. The latter kept really well refrigerated which I later ate for breakfast before work during the week. Nice that it was a manageable size and not too cloying with glaze...Goldilocks just right, lol. Enjoyed this destination detour and thanks to fellow Yelp Elites, Craig and Earnie for putting this on my radar screen!

Whilst in the drive through and attempting to make an order, the employee made the choice to play a game with my order cutting me off before I could finish saying each item, and then following each item up with a myriad of unneeded questions for each item (Beef, chicken or steak? Sourcream? Tomatoes? Make it spicy? Is that everything? ) in a rushed paced. She was doing this for fun- not for items that needed clarification. She did this for EVERY menu item I ordered. Once at the window, her and another staff member were laughing hysterically. I have never been to a Taco Bell where I felt so disrespected and like I was an annoyance for coming to spend money somewhere. Since she could see I wasn't amused, she then proceeded to say "Oh I put some of my food in when I was taking your order and I kept looking over at it." When I didn't laugh, she said "Oh, I thought it was funny" and slowly closed the window. While waiting for our food, we could hear the staff member proceed with this "game" to the other cars behind us. I also have a short video of this interaction for a couple of the items I ordered as it was so uncomfortable. I told him to go open up one of the new mugs and check for himself but he didn't have any of them and told me to take it to the 7-Eleven in Seattle where I purchased it. I couldn't believe how rude he was and the lack of knowledge of what 7-Eleven promotes. I still walked out with my free coffee after going back and fourth with the cheapest and dumbest 7-Eleven owner in the world.
