Went in today for cookies to surprise my grandkids with a special treat. I bought a dozen and headed out to take them to their school , which is quite a ways out of town . and cookies were not what I asked for . I called them and told lady and she said she'd take care of it . So I drive all the way back into town to get them so I can go all the way back to the school again to take the cookies . I get there and she puts the cookies in the box and then tells me she's going to have to charge me more because they were iced cookies . I had already been charged for iced cookies and that's not what I got at all ! I couldn't believe it after all the driving back and forth and all she was going to do that . I told her nicely I can't believe this you'd think you say I'm sorry about all this and you'd think she'd throw in some extra cookies or something not charge me more . I told her to keep the cookies and give me my money back that was bad business and I'd never be back ! And I won't and don't think I won't let people know . I work in the public and have for 35 years with lots of important people and they are going to know how they treat people over there . I use to like going there to get get their cookies and treat people with them but never again . It upset me so much I called to speak to who was in charge and ask her why would you do that .... I told her how far out I had to drive and back and forth and all and all she said rudely was are you going to let me talk ... that's when I said I'm going to put this on google and hung up . I don't do this much but felt it needed to be out there . Im sure my business doesn't really matter to them I just come in to buy cookies every once and awhile but not now after that! read more

I love Dara Marie's!! The owner and staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful and the place is darling and so clean! The lunch menu is wonderful with great salads and sandwiches, and I love to eat there. Of course the desserts are awesome, my favorites is the wonderful piece of coconut pie and the holiday cookies are fabulous. I might put on a ton of weight if the holiday cookies were offered daily. You also can shop for unique jewelry, which is hard for me to stay away from, and other things like purses. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! I live in Norman and love to go there. read more
