Breakfast burrito
Darrel V.

Oklahoma has an astounding number of donut shops. They almost all have kolaches, but not many carry breakfast burritos. This place does! They're small and tasty. One was fine for me, but a hungry morning may call for two. They're egg, cheese, and sausage. Straightforward and on the money. And the donuts are really good. I may have found my go-to donut shop, and that's really saying something, given how many there are to choose from. The owners there are quick and personable and the shop is very clean--something a lot of the others can't claim! Give 'em a try and see what you think!

Oklahoma is a philosophically-challenged place. But they did come up with one timeless classic. "I think, therefore I A.M. Donuts." There are some really lovely people running this donut shop, where they make pretty decent kolaches with not very spicy jalapeno sausages, and they make excellent glazed donuts that delighted me. I can see what all the hype is about because the glazed donuts are really delicious. I would definitely come back for those. They're cheap and fluffy and they taste fresh and light and very good. The service is really nice from both the woman and man who owned the shop and the prices are great. Easily the best donut I've had in Oklahoma to date. Don't ever come here in the PM. Trust me, just don't.

Workers in the shop were extremely nice and chatty. Had a great selection of donuts and the jalapeño kolache was delicious.

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. You can't go wrong by dining at The Press.

I got the Press Cobb salad but asked if they'd turn it into a wrap, and they didn't give me any trouble about it. Easier to eat when you're trying to talk and chew at the same time. The wrap was fresh, filling, decent mix of chicken, bacon, veggies, dressing not drowning in lettuce like some Cobb salads end up being. Waffle fries were crispy when they showed up but cooled off pretty quick once we got into conversation, so eat those first I guess.

It's a nice small diner vibe, not overly modern, but also not dated. They run a lot of specials. My girlfriend got their Steak sandwich, and I got the Chicken and Waffle fries. For the price the food was amazing. Maybe the best steak sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was good, nothing life changing but the waffle fries? I've never had fries like that before in my life and they were so delicious. Me and my girlfriend decided before we even finished our meal that we are gonna come back once a month and try everything over time. Oh also like 10 cops were eating there, so if the towns police force chose to eat there, that also must mean it's pretty good.

Everything I've tried has been incredible: the breakfast burrito, quesadilla, nachos with white cheese and fresh pico de gallo, mushrooms, French fries... all so good. Their house-made ranch dressing is next-level. Honestly, the food here is better than almost anything else around. I constantly hear people raving about their smash burgers, and they even run a daily smash burger special from 2-5pm that includes fries and a drink. Great food, great service, and it's literally one minute from my house--can't beat that! Highly recommend.

Tucked away in a golf-club setting but open to the public, this spot feels like the best of both worlds: casual-clubhouse atmosphere and a menu full of bold, delicious choices. From the moment you step in (or drive up to 11340 Surrey Hills Blvd), the vibe is welcoming: a laid-back place where you can grab a bite before or after a round, or just swing by because you're craving something good. Their menu offers everything from wings, crispy mushrooms, and fried pickles to smash burgers, hot dogs, wraps -- but what stands out is their smash-burger game. My favorite -- and what I boldly call the best burger in the area -- is the "BackNine SMB." Two thin, crispy-edged patties smashed on the grill, American cheese, sautéed onions, jalapeño, and house sauce on a toasted bun. The flavor balance hits hard: juicy, slightly crunchy edges, melty cheese, the right kick from jalapeño, and just enough sauce to tie it all together. Service here is another big plus. During my visits, staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient -- not the kind of place where you wait forever for your order. Other reviews on Yelp echo that sentiment, calling The BackNine Grill "some of the best burgers I have had" and praising the quick, solid service. If you're after a great burger, fast service, and a relaxed, clubhouse-meets-diner vibe -- The BackNine Grill should be high on your list. Whether you're coming off the golf course or just ordering for take-out, I promise: give the BackNine SMB a try. You might just agree it's the best burger in the area.

First of all they set up a tiny table for 3, there was no room on the table top to even lay your phone down, it was full of plates, teacups and saucers, teapots, cutlery etc. Overdone and pretentious. I grew up in Sydney Australia and have had high tea all my life, English high tea is not set up ridiculously like Nosh does. They also seated us right at the entrance of a baby shower party, where people walked past us in and out of the event room which also has clear glass partition, so we felt like we were being watched as well as constantly disrupted with traffic. The tea was the only good part. The food on the trays were dismal: sandwiches were dry, most likely prepared the day before. Egg salad sandwich was nothing more than a smear of mashed eggyolk, extremely salty, on dried up bread. I can't even remember the other bad sandwiches. The desserts were so sorry looking, they must've been at least 2-3 days old. The lemon tart was disgusting, a small dollop of lemon curd in a stale pastry cup; the "assorted cake dots" was 1 tiny bite of cake - literally size of a quarter. Macaron was store-bought. We did not get the scone with jam and cream that I pre-ordered. Nothing was really edible on the entire tray. This was THE SINGLE WORST dining experience I have ever had, embarrassing to say the least. The manager was walking around the restaurant in a weird jogging suit kinda outfit, very unprofessional. The servers were very polite but that really doesn't make up for the fact that they couldn't put together a proper tea. Don't waste your money. Oh, and bring cash, because they'll slap a 5% fee if you use card. This place is a huge embarrassment to Oklahoma, don't waster your time and money.
