These donuts are adorable and great for decoration, but they weren't for me. These donuts are funnel cake style, which seems to indicate that the only "donut" thing about them is the shape. The texture is different--much more airy than cakey--and there's a greasiness to each bite that would usually be masked by the powdered sugar on traditional funnel cakes. In terms of flavors, I really enjoyed the Banana Foster, but the Strawberry tasted pretty artificial and I was hoping for something a bit more fresh. Overall, there are much better desserts in Denver and I would pass on this one. read more

My apartment complex was kind enough to arrange a few hours of The Dapper Doughnut for its residents. People were lined up in the blazing heat for these sweet treats. I didn't realize until ordering that they were cute little things! Perfect way to try many different flavors. Admittedly I suffer from decision paralysis, so I told the cashier to pick three kinds of doughnuts for me, bringing me to a total of six complimentary mini pastries. I ended up receiving cinnamon, strawberry & nuts, and chocolate & sprinkles. Not bad. They were a little too sweet for me. Love the fried-ness, though. Maybe I should have purchased a coffee on the side to make the sugar more palatable, but I ended up making some of my own at home. A dozen of these would make a cute gift though. read more

The hubs and I finally got the chance to try these little bites of heaven and we absolutely love them! They are very small, so that is the only downfall, but let's start calling them bite-sized instead. There's really no better excuse to try all flavors in one sitting. And these flavors were surprisingly so distinct and delicious. I'm not even the biggest cereal/fruity pebble fan, but this particular doughnut was just so tasty. These are definitely best served fresh and hot, but even reheated for a few seconds a few hours later, they were still yummy. Cake doughnuts are my fave doughnuts of all time and these are great ones. I learned that this is actually a franchise, so their formula is tried and true. But I also learned that the franchise owners have complete creative control on the flavors and combinations they crank out. Love this! Dapper doughnut is amazing!! Their flavors are unmatched and they have so many, your bound to find at least 5 that you love. We also booked them for our wedding and they were flawless. They even delivered and completed a full setup including the cutest doughnut wall. Their mini doughnuts are perfect for a large event like a wedding because guests can try so many different flavors - they were a hit. Their entire staff is also wonderful! These donuts were too small for their price. They are literally the size of a quarter and a half. Probably a little less. The lady who took our order saw that we were going to pay by Apple Pay but didn't say anything till the end. And she was a bit weird about it because it happened to the person BEHIND us. I wouldn't have minded the Apple Pay part if they put an SIGN saying they don't take it. Also these donuts were not good at all. It was only the Nutella donut that made it get 1 star. I ordered these donuts for a couple work meetings this week and everything was GREAT! I received a lot of positive feedback from my co-workers. Guy Adams is an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very prompt in responding to all of my calls/texts, both deliveries were on time, and the donuts looked perfect (and tasted delicious!)
