We were craving some delicious donuts and searched on Google. We found this amazing GEM nearby. All donuts and their specialty ones all looked so yummy.. That was our first time. The gentleman who welcomed me was so friendly. There was a man behind me that I let him go in front of me as I didn't yet know what to get with so many delicious choices... I could tell he was a regular there.. I ended up getting half a dozen of assorted donuts and their donut holes as well... I tried their Ube specialty donut and it was so good.. actually all that I got were amazing. It was so fresh, perfect textures donut, even their croissant donut with whipped cream and fruits on top.. I'm so glad I tried this place. Not all donuts are equal. They had, what I call long John's, but these can be filled with Bavarian cream, raspberry, or lemon. The icing on top was chocolate, but they also had maple. It was fantastic. I also had a cinnamon roll which was very tasty. They even threw in some glazed donut holes. These were really good as well. I bought a box as part of the "To Good To Go" app, which featured an assortment of leftover donuts picked up near closing time. The lady at the counter was so nice and even added in a couple extra ones for me. Everything was delicious! Go here alone for the customer service, then stay for the clean store and fantastic donuts and treats. This place has show-stopping donuts with the cutest creations. The cronut was the best I've had in the Denver area by far. Everything tasted fresh and not fried. And don't leave without getting a kolache. Went in for first time today. National Donut Day at around 9. They had sold so much. But they were pumping out more donuts as fast as they could. Gal behind the counter was awesome. We tried four cronut varieties: one glazed, one topped with Nutella and strawberries, one that was topped with what tasted like cheesecake filling and berries, and one topped with whipped cream and berries. I am so happy to have found this donut shop! I have a new place to go to to fill my sugar craving! The fact that it's so close to my house means I might be in trouble. The donut shop itself is pretty small and outdated, but don't be fooled. The donuts are everything and more! I told the young lady working the front that I had never been there before and she was so sweet and patient. Krispy Kreme has always been my #1 place to go for donuts and as soon as I took a bite of Mr.Donuts glazed donut I immediately thought of Krispy Kreme. Like is this real life? After that I savored every bite. I love that they're light and fluffy and not too doughy or hard. And I just want to note that their strawberry glaze is especially good. I didn't find that the donuts were overly expensive. I left with a box full for just under $17. Not bad. They also have savory items which I didn't get to try this time, but will absolutely try next time! This is definitely gonna be my go to place for donuts from now on! I am so impressed! read more

Today, we were feeling donuts and headed to see Mr. Donut's place. Staff kindly greeted us, giving my kindergartner a couple donut holes on the house while we placed our order. I chose a cronut (my first ever) and a sausage kolache, something I didn't expect. After warming up my kolache, the clerk smiled and added six more donut holes to the bag, pointing at my son. How sweet was that? Speaking of the donut holes, these appear to be genuine, as in poked out of an existing item before frying, unlike the prefab ones that are definitely not free at one national chain. Free or not, they illustrate why local businesses are the way. My virgin cronut wasn't much to look at, but it's what's inside that makes this more than a one-time thing. With the sweetness of a glazed donut and heaviness of layered and fried croissant, I had no room for the kolache. Czech mate. Coffee was mids--far better than fast food, not quite Corvus, but satisfying. The kolache made a comeback later on. With tasty cheddar sausage inside pastry almost like I remember in West, TX, this was a winner, especially for $2. I did a double take when my total was just $5.69. Overall, Mr. Donut offers friendly counter service with an exceptional ratio of taste and quality over price. If you find yourself in Aurora, it's worth a stop. read more

The best doughnuts ever! fresh & delicious and the staff are amazing! We came in today for my birthday as we decided they are just that good! and topped any cake we might find ;) There is only the 2 of us so a cake would again be a waste as well! I was so sad I wouldn't be able to have my fav doughnuts... but delighted as well that the shops doughnuts were almost gone! Someone had bought almost all of them! More than I would like to pay for donuts, but seems to be the way of the world. Anyway, super friendly staff, good food and good service. Lots of "designer donut" options to choose from(my daughter freaked over the unicorn and mermaid donuts). I also had a croissant breakfast sandwich which was surprisingly heated up in the microwave. THAT was definitely overpriced and got dried out from the microwave. But the donuts are very good. Won't drive the 15 minutes to go there again, but if it were closer I'd be just fine with that being my neighborhood donut spot. read more
