Strawberry shortcake

As usual. I leave reviews for the excellent and for the awful. This is the former. These donuts are in a world of their own. A perfect blend of sweet chocolates and fruit with the fluffy layers and crispy outside of a croissant. They're truly in a category of their own and I'll be going back any time we have out of town guests. Hands down. Thumbs up.

Bourbon Carmel, Raspberry Pistachio, lemon cream, strawberry cream, campfire and French Toast. Yum!

The best donuts ever! A cross between a croissant and a donut, the texture is crisp, soft and chewy. The flavor selections are modern traditional and there is something for everyone. The location is very clean and most were sold out on a Friday morning at about 9 am and service was exceptional!

Unfortunately lately this place is inconsistent at best. Yes, they have amazing flavor concoctions of donuts but the service and taste has been a crapshoot the last two times. Specifically the last time we went was a major disappointment and I know the world is in need of good employees but it seems like they just don't care. We walked in and the male working was yelling on his AirPods in the back and took some time to come out. After that, he continued to talk to the other person on his AirPods and ignored one of our questions then we were talking to each other, would interject. It was an odd experience and to be honest, off putting. Not sure if there was a change in management or what but things have just changed. Added bummer was that espresso donut just didn't taste good, I think the negative experience peppered that,

If you're looking for a good treat, Parlor is where it's at! This place is located in a shopping center and can be hard to miss sometimes, but I saw this place from Parker Rd and I had to stop in. I love Maple donuts and this was just elevated! The base is like a croissant, it's super soft and melts in your mouth! I would recommend this place to everyone for a quick treat. They're only open in the mornings to early afternoon, so make sure you stop in.

These doughnuts taste as good as they look ! I was truly impressed and will be coming back !

These donuts are AMAZING! Normally when food looks this good, most of the time the taste doesn't nearly live up to how beautiful it looks, but I can say with 100% certainty that these donuts live up to their beautiful looks- and then some. Yes they are a little expensive, but I assure you they're worth every penny!

These doughnuts are delicious. Tbh doughnuts might be my new favorite dessert This trip we had the Maple Bacon, Turtle Cheesecake, and Blueberry Hill doughnuts. We also added a several minis. There may be a few missing from the photo because I rarely make it home without trying something in the box! If you happen to be passing Parlor Doughnuts, stop and give them a try, they are amazing!

The staff was SO friendly and patient. The shop is super simple and cute. Their merch is even better and definitely something i want to purchase. There were a ton of selections for flavors with most of classics, as well as some fun seasonal flavors. I got 6 donuts in total (blueberry, turtle cheesecake, maple bacon, lemon, coconut creme, vanilla sprinkle) and they were delicious! My favorite by far were the coconut creme, turtle cheesecake, and maple bacon! All of the donuts are a mix between croissant and donut with the layers and buttery flakiness. With that being said, they are fresh donuts and are best eaten that way, they stale overnight. I highly recommend going to see them and trying all their flavors!

Yum & then some

The owner was on site today making breakfast sandwiches and burritos and his son was manning the donut counter and register. Both were so friendly and accommodating and when the son found out it was our first time, he generously shared some bite sized cronuts with us because that's one of their specialities. A great bite of fluffy, flaky and sweet croissant/donut hybrid. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich on one of their croissants... grilled to perfection with crispy edges and melty cheese, so buttery and delicious. They also have yeast and cake style donuts as well as cinnamon rolls, fritters, kolaches and donut holes. (We got there after a busy morning so go early if you want the full selection of options) Yeast donuts were so light, it was amazing how airy and fluffy they were, not overly sweet which I appreciated. My favorite was the cake donut, it was so light and buttery had that perfect "crispy" outside with a great chew inside. And this will sound weird but every bite was better and by the end it had an almost creaminess. I wished I had ordered more of those. Great donuts, breakfast sandwiches and stellar service, go check them out!

I drove 40 mins to get these It was like harden crunchy pizza dough? It was not the soft, pillowy texture kolaches are supposed to be. Tasted nothing like a kolache back home. Service is usually quick and easy, though on my last visit I noticed that the employee who helped me committed a mistake. He was gloved up but handled my cash and then went to pick my donuts from the rack without changing gloves, so that's not ideal. Maybe he was just surprised that someone actually paid in cash, who knows, but it's still something that should not have happened. Otherwise though, it's a pretty average donut shop. This is a big chain from Texas that only has the one location in Denver, but I don't see them being in any hurry to expand, so I guess it will stay a niche thing for those from Texas. There are actually several other donut shops in the immediate area so I wonder how well they'll compete long term.

The young man and the woman working there were friendly. They added a couple of donut holes to my bag which was a nice little treat while I waited for my burrito. You get a full breakfast with this burrito. It was packed with eggs, potato, bacon and cheese. The combined flavors were delicious together. Sometimes, I don't prefer bigger burritos because I might get a bite of only dry potato. This burrito was full of flavor with each bite. They give you a side of green salsa which I didn't try because it was at the bottom of the bag and I didn't know it was there. Next time I will add it! And, the croissant donut - YUM! It was light, fluffy, sprinkled with sugar to add a little sweetness. The layers of the croissant and airy glazed donut melt in your mouth. The parking situation can be a little tricky when visiting for the first time, but I found that there is also parking on the south side of the building.

Such a home-y vibe!…read more It's inside of a church! I was driving a friend from Centennial to Aurora and this place was perfectly on the way. Literally nothing much else around AT ALL. It was a SINGLE pin on my google map - no pins near it at all! I must have pinned this at some point as "a place to go to sometime when in the area" but I really can't remember pinning it and am not sure why I would pin a coffee shop located in a church! However! This is the second coffee shop that I've seen in Denver while driving by - like located as part of a massive church, so it was interesting to actually be checking it out. It was a weekday and there was a vast parking lot and there were like 4 cars. LOTS of parking! Once inside, I immediately relaxed! Didn't even know I was tense! There was so much to look at and it smelled so good inside. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Something baked tho. My eyes wandered everywhere over the various retail areas, the furniture - couches to patio furniture, the people behind the counter, the various large chalkboards, menus, etc. Lots to look at. I wound up getting a spicy chai! I never order chai! I must have been under some strange spell from being immersed in the warm comforting baked goods aroma! The spicy chai had KICK! It was so good that I ordered a second one to go! My friend ordered that ham+cheese biscuit which looked amazing, with those cheese legs dripping! Whoa! It was such a nice coffee + conversation vibe. I would totally go again if I am ever in that area again! Oh! The 2 behind the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable about their vast variety of menu and drink items!
