I would give this place a 4 star because I come here quite often. Today the host Destiny was quite unpleasant with taking my order. Customer service is a big plus in any business and it seems like today she is not having it. The food might be excellent but your customer won't forget how you made them feel. Next time try to be nice Destiny and ask them their order nicely . read more

LOVE this place. The food is simply amazing. Period. I come here at least twice a month for lunch :)

This place satisfied my hunger but not because it was good lol. I was so hungry I didn't know what to eat and I think I ate this out of frustration. It's more like a fast food meditterean joint then a legit med place. I wish I would have bought something else. I won't be coming here again. I bought the spicy gyro and I wasn't a fan of the spicy sauce. It had a cheap nacho cheese taste to it. I believe it was feta cheese which I wasn't expecting. The white regular sauce would probably have been better. I also bought the lemon soup and that was pretty good. I've made this Greek soup at home before and I prefer it homemade but this was decent. Instead of orzo pasta it was rice and it tasted good. It came with Pita which was good too. read more

Stopped here for a quick bite before heading to the airport. Service was friendly and fast. Food was wonderful. I ordered the chicken skewers and had a salad, no rice. They were very accommodating with my substitution requests. My dining partner had the chicken pita which was great. Their pitas are very fresh and soft. Great flavors. Very clean. read more

Love this place. They serve plenty of food and you can watch them cook right behind the register. Always welcomed with a smile and never had an issue here. The big winner for me is they treat their tasty hummus like a Mexican restaurant does salsa. There are other places that only have hummus at an additional charge as if it's something more then blended beans and oils. Not Daphnes. They have always included their hummus with a meal. The only thing I wish for was that they stay open later. After a Reign game, I would love to be able to get some Daphnes to take home. read more

I live in Palm Springs, but frequent this Daphne's whenever I'm in the Ontario area at mealtime. Flew into Ontario Airprt tonight and stopped for dinner. Food was fresh and delicious as usual. Service was prompt and friendly. Always a pleasure to treat myself to Daphne's when in the area. read more

Stopped by today at opening to see if I could place a large catering order for next week.... employees wouldn't even look at me and when I finally spoke up and asked if they were open yet.... I was told "guess not". Not a single other comment was made to me so I walked out... no more business for these guys! read more

I wanted to like this place. But this is Southern California and the amount of Greek people here is sparse at best. While I was stationed over on the East Coast, I had the opportunity to experience great Greek food. Moreover, my girlfriend is half Greek, so she was able to show me some very good spots. We went to this spot not too long ago because she was in the mood for a gyro. What we had was just okay. It was nothing spectacular. But for out here, I would say it's decent. The service and staff are great. It's just that the seasonings aren't where they are supposed to be. read more

The food is good portion but the portion of meet on the gyro is skimpy There are homeless people in and out walking past your table all the time read more

Greek/Mediterranean food is one of my favorites, and for being a quicky chain restaurant, this is pretty good. A big plus is the convenience of being able to call in an order, or better yet order on line, and spend no more than 5 minutes in the place to pick it up. Did the online order this visit, and it was so easy. Also like the way they package the to go orders in tightly sealed containers. No yummy food smells emanating in the car so my two beagles don't go nuts in the back seat, and the food doesn't get that perspiration/soggy thing happening either. Get home and it's almost as good as if I had dined in the restaurant! Oh yeah, so what did I have? The family pack with chicken, gyro, rice, salad, pita bread, and that wonderful tzatziki sauce. read more

I'm really surprised at the low ratings for this place. I found this place with ease. It's right across from the Ontario Mills mall. It's also super clean! So organized and clean. The employees were pretty friendly too. I got the Spanakopita and it was so delicious. A bit on the oily side for my taste, but it was very yummy. It came with lamb, rice pilaf, greek salad, and 4 small pitas. It was all oh so good! The Tzatziki sauce was so awesome. I want to learn how to make that now. I feel like it could go with a lot of types of foods, and not just greek. The small pitas were so warm and fresh too! I don't know why people aren' digging Daphne's. I was pretty happy with the service, the location, the cleanliness of the location, and the food itself was awesome. I only waited maybe 5 minutes for my food too! Fast service! I wish they had a location in West Covina! read more

i like the menu selection!!! staff is friendly!! delicious for being a fast food chain!!! kinda wish they were more around!! read more

I have a hard time coming here in the first place because the food is served in small portions and over priced. I asked them to give me steak on my cali-greek bowl instead of chicken and they initially said "they couldn't because it wasn't an option on their register...." So then they called the manager and the solution was to charge me almost $4 extra to exchange the chicken for steak. All because their register didn't have a special button for their brains to complete the task without charging me extra! :) last time I come here because honestly $29.32 for 2 combos is not worth it. The food really is not that good. On top of everything I finally got my food and the portion of my salmon was 3inx 1/2in! On top of about 1oz of rice. I'll upload the picture. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Daphne's - Really? This plus their cali greek bowl costs $29. -___- look at the portion size! That's not worth the money trust - Greek Near Me - Ontario, California

Justin, the manager, made sure this was a great experience. Stop by and tell him Lee sent you.

Was surprisingly good for a chain. I have gone back and enjoyed it twice from two different locations. Their gyro meat was especially surprisingly good. read more

Best Greek fast food around! Well, that's because there aren't any other Greek restaurants in the IE (that I'm aware of). I'm from the east coast where Greek restaurants are pentiful. So I was very happy to find Daphne's. The staff is very friendly and the service was great. Food came out just as I ordered it and in a very timely manner. The food? Delicious! For Greek fast-food, it's yummy! It's also a healthier choice. I love the gyro's and the tzatziki sauce. The hummus tastes fresh and the pitas are nice and warm when served. I usually order the chicken kabob plate and they are very gracious about letting me have double salad instead of fries. They also offer a reduced fat greek dressing. AWESOME!! It was tricky to find but so worth the search. I can get my Greek on!! read more

Got the classic Greek salad, it was delivered promptly and tastes great! Service was good and restaurant was clean. Can't wait to try something else on the menu. read more

Wow. I am thoroughly surprised by the lack of enjoyment of this particular Daphne's. I totally dig this location. Super friendly service and pretty yummy food. What I usually order: - Fire Zesta Appetizer - I usually get the 2 zestas with chicken and gyro. Love this appetizer to death. - Chicken or Steak Kabob Lunch - comes with greek salad and rice. Not great, but certainly serviceable for what it is. Also, look for their coupons in the mail. read more

Honestly, I don't know what I was expecting. After reading some of the reviews I was still curious to try this out. I had Mediterranean food from a really good spot but not in my area. It was soooo good I went back again a week later. So, I went on a hunt to find a local Mediterranean food joint. Anyway, comparing it to legit Mediterranean food this had none of the flavor that I was expecting. Very disappointing, I raved so much about it and even brought my cousin. He was also dissatisfied and was more interested in the skateboards they have hanging on the wall. It's pricing isn't too bad, and then you try the food................... We had the wraps, hummus, pita chips and fries. Sadly, the fries were the best part. End. read more

This location is clean and friendly, I've never found their food to be spectacular and their hummus is a little reminiscent of a pasty frosting in texture with a so-so taste. Definitely of the Fast Food genre, not really the "deli" like structure you hope from something that calls itself "Greek" or "Mediterranean" at all but it's not horrible, just a little too over-priced for what you get. I still always find myself moseying in to Daphne's every now and again though, it's okay! read more

Food was delish .tried it for first time and the gyro was amazing .........recommed this place fore sure

Kid meals listed as $5.99 on all menus. Be forewarned that if you order the kid meal shrimp there is an extra charge not listed on any of the menus. When I bought this to the attention of the cashier she said well the extra charge is in their register system. When I told her they should fix the menu to list it because it is misleading to customers she acted like she couldn't care less. read more

I enjoy this place very much, definitely a consistent go to for greek food. My go to is the GYRO Classic sandwich made as a combo with fries and a drink. They have plenty of other options for sides. If you havent been here in awhile they have updated there menus. Ive noticed they dont have the mix'n'match as well as they discountined the large size gyro's. If you come here during lunch mon-fri can expect this restaurant to be a bit busy, can call in orders ahead. If you eat inside dont be alarmed if you dont see any trashcans, the server despite ordering your food at the counter, will also bus the table when you are done eating. read more

I ordered the surf n turf and the meal was very good with the exception of the turf initially. The beef was over cooked in my opinion and had too much fat in it. The server came by and asked how the meal was and I mentioned the fatty pieces. She very happily offered to replace the beef or give me more shrimp which I was very happy with. The manager mentioned in the future I can also request the beef to be cooked less since they make it new with each order. I was very happy with my experience. read more

It's the McD's of Greek food. Papa Cristo isn't gonna come out of this kitchen. Plain and simple. Don't expect anything more and you should walk away satisfied. Their facilities are always pretty clean. Only thing is that it's pricey for what it is. A dollar menu of gyros and kebobs would be awesome. But anyways... "Would you like fries with your Gyro?" "Sure. Why not? Especially cuz they're so dang good!" Now how do you say "I'm lovin' it" in Greek? read more

Five stars are hard to come by, but the $ to quality ratio is spot on here. I've tried - Cali greek bowl - Street pitas (both gyro and chicken) - Mango chicken salad - BBQ chicken pizza All were excellent in flavor with a price that can't be beaten for the quality you get. Perfect balance between a fast food joint and a restaurant. The FRESHNESS... i love that part too. Unless they totally screw up their winning combo, I'll continue coming back weekly for years to come :) read more

I'm a huge fan of Daphne's, but I can't rate it too high just because the service wasn't spectacular. I ordered online for a 12:50pm pickup. Yes, I understand and can see that it is very busy, but I didn't not receive my food until 1:05. To receive something that was supposed to be ready for pickup 15 minutes prior was incredibly disappointing. It appeared that when I arrived at 12:50, they began my order as that was when the cashier mentioned it to the cooking staff and put up the order. I don't think this staff pays close attention to the online orders when the line is to the door. read more

My first order with Uber eats! I got the combo plate, 2 proteins comes with Greek salad and rice. I got grilled chx, falafel and grilled shrimp for only two extra dollars. The falafe option is not available on the individual sandwiches, but was available on the combo plate. The shrimp are not very big, but cooked and seasoned excellently. Falafel are very (very!) flavorful, just enough spice, lots of tumeric and cumin! Some of the best I've ever had (except for homemade, of course). Rice? Not so much. Tastes like it was cooked with chicken stock, which is fine, but I feel like it could be a little more going on. The Hummus is awesome! I pride myself on my hummus making skills, and most places just do not season correctly! This has lots of garlic and lemon flavor with a nice salt/pepper ratio. This hummus is why I'm writing this review! Quick preparation, quick delivery, great food. Oh! The tzatziki! It's got chunked up cucumber in it and it is probably the best I've ever had. Sorry auntie! Y'all got a recipe? Right around the corner from my work, I will def be getting this again. read more

I was craving Greek food and had to make a trip to Ontario anyway so decided to stop in since it had been quite a while. Arrived shortly after 11 and they weren't busy yet. Salad was ice cold and rest of my combo plate was steaming hot. The food was delicious. Better than I remembered. Flavored iced tea was fresh brewed. Fast friendly customer service from Alfredo!
