On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, I placed an Online DD Order that included 2 Greek Bowls with Chicken, a side of Fries, and a side of Fire Feta Dip. When I received my DD, I noticed the driver forgot one of the Greek Bowls so I asked if he can go back and he said no. I then called in to see if I can come pick it up myself, to which the Cashier, Eric, said no I need to take it up with DD and abruptly hung up. I decided to "take the L" and forget about it. I then opened my plate to the worst plate I have ever received by Daphne's. The plate did not include Veggies, as the Greek Bowls states, the bowl also came with a glob of regular Fire Feta Dip, not rhe sauce. The chicken was charred, as if it was overcooked and old, the rice was so hard and tasted of char, and again, they forgot a whole other plate. When I opened and saw how the plate looked, I called back and asked if I could my money back because the bowl given was not what I ordered, Eric and/or Anthony, then proceeded to say they could not refund me because I already received the plate. I let Eric know there were no Veggies and the Fire Feta was a Dip and not the Sauce, he then said they were out of Veggies and FF Sauce. I let him know I've worked at plety of restaurants/fast food places with DD to know, there is the customer's # on the order and they should have called. I also want to make note that I specifically called to place the order for the Side of FF Sauce, which would've also given him the opportunity to let me know about the No Veggies or FF Sauce and I would've cancelled the order then and there, but he unfortunately, did not take that opportunity. All in all, this was the worst plate I have received and the worst service I have received in all the years I've been a customer to Daphne's. I have watched this building get taken over by different owner and different owner time and time again, but this time makes me never want to attend this location again. Just want to note, Anthony and Eric need a lot of customer service training. Again, this is coming from someone that has been a server for years and I have managed many other restaurants/fast food places, so I know how customers can be. This means I also know how rude the employees can also be to guests and just blatantly show they do not care about the guests at all.

Funny story on how I came to visit Daphne's... well, I was at R&B Tea getting my Vietnamese sandwiches & boba drinks and I wanted to check-in via Yelp. Somehow I clicked on Daphne's instead of R&B Tea. So I took a second glance and said what kind of foods does Daphne's sells. Surprise surprise... they sell Mediterranean foods. I love Mediterranean foods! So I headed over here to check them out since I already checked in LOL... Daphne's have very good space for dining. Quite a colorful joint. Lots of food options to choose from. I ended up getting the mix & match plate with 1 chicken kebab and 1 steak kebab... it also comes with roasted veggies, Spanish rice, some kind of yogurt called tzatzit, and pita bread. I was hoping to really like my plate. Unfortunately, the chicken was a tad dry IMHO... I don't eat steak so I can't comment on it. Rice was on the harder side... needs more water. Veggies were good. Yogurt was light. Chunks of the meats and all the sides were on the smaller side... wished they were bigger in portions especially with the price paid at $23+. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Ambience was bright especially with the red and blue chairs. Will I be back? I really don't know. They are better than Zaky's Mediterranean so maybe I'll give them another try. At least now I know they exist and I can drop by when I'm in the area. Happy Daphne'ing!

First time here. The front cashier was welcoming and helpful, answered all my questions. That's the extent of my positive experience in the lobby. I waited for my food and heard one of the employees casually cursing every other word he spoke, calling everyone bro, all while the few guests in the lobby were watching them. I got my food, but no napkins, silverware, etc. No problem. I got up to get my own from a customer facing tray full of napkins, disposables forks, knives, etc. I smile at the guy behind the grill and grab a fork. He says I need to ask for any of those things, "bro." I couldn't tell if he was joking at first, but he affirmed any forward facing napkins and utensils, I need to ask to be given to me because there's other customers. No sign saying we couldn't self serve. I didn't expect that given it's customer facing. Between the lunch full of F words and being unkindly told I couldn't have a napkin and fork without asking, I probably won't come back. Professionalism is pretty low here. The food was good though.

SKIP THIS PLACE!!! This ain't it chief! Food was half empty. Overseasoned and over priced steak. They didn't even fill the plate with rice they banked on stuffing it with vegetables to make the plate look full. The pita bread was as dry as the desert. We paying 25$ for what air? Pathetic bland food and the place can't even cook rice it was undercooked and dry. How do you not know how to cook rice?

They will never get another dime from me. Came in around 5PM today and witnessed the young kid working behind the counter (wearing a black tee shirt and gold chains around his neck) laugh and make fun of a lady for telling him to have a good night. Yes, the sun was still out when she said it, but why disrespect a paying customer? She was just being polite. I ordered the classic pita with gyros. They gave me a classic pita with falafel. When I asked for the correct sandwich, the cook was visibly annoyed and had an attitude. How dare I ask for the thing I ordered. Maybe if he wasn't so busy trying to have a conversation with me, he would have actually listened and got it right the first time? Also, the first sandwich they gave me looked disgusting. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Never again!!

I was in the area and decided to try this place. I almost didn't walk in because the restaurant appeared to be closed. I'm glad that I did approach the place. The cashier was very nice and helped me pick a dish. The place appeared to be clean but empty. The dish that picked didn't have a variety of items on it but the portion was a good size...and I'm not a big eater. It was delicious with some spicy yummy sauce. I've attached a pic and I'll be back if I'm ever in the area.

I have ordered from here through UberEats twice. The food is always amazing, but I have one serious bone to pick. They require you to make the order a combo when you order a pita through uber eats. The cost is $7, which is outrageous for fries and drink. Both times I have failed to receive my drink. When you charge customers that much for extras, they had best recieve those extras. On top of I didn't even want the soda and fries, you have to pick it to finish your order.

I came here right before the shutdown and was in the mood for mediterranean. I chose the mix and match with gyro and falafel ($11.69). The falafel was good and the gyro was soft, it was not salty or dry. The side of roasted vegetables and hummus was ok. The place was clean and empty, lots of space for tables but they were in the process of moving them. They took out all the plastic cultery so you had to ask for them. They take card.

Got an email about a whole Greek chicken special going on so I popped in to buy it. None on the grill and the cook said it would be an hour. Not cool. However, the cashier was quick to save the sale and offered me options. She was efficient and friendly and her suggestions were on point. I got the steak salad and she offered me to upgrade it to a combo with side and drink for an extra $2. Well worth it. As an aside, it's been a few years since the Riverside location was closed. That place in Riverside was always hopping and this Ontario location literally didn't have a single person in it at 5:30 on a Thursday night. Idk why not because the Ontario location has great service and food and is always spotless, but the Riverside location is still missed. read more

I've been eating at Daphne's on and off for 8 years, and for fast Greek food they are usually pretty good. The service is spotty, some days they are super friendly and on it and others ..... not so much. Until today I would have rated them about a 3.5, great fast food, so so Greek food. Per usual I got the office lunch order today, My manger had the lemon chicken soup, 2 street pita Gyros, my coworker ordered the Gyro pita combo, with fries and veggies, I had a Gyro and a coke - pretty simple order, all to go, no special requests or substitutions. My sandwich was mostly wilted lettuce, with limp tomato's, the white sauce in the cups was the consistency of runny house dressing, in fact after smelling it that's what I thought it was, the bread fought with me, something I have never experienced with them before. My coworker, does not eat chicken, wouldn't you know it, they put chicken on hers, the receipt even says gyro, her fries were soggy and her bread was as hard as mine. She is a brave soul and actually tasted the faux ranch cups, then informed me it was tzatziki, then proceeded to fish out some limp slimy cucumber strips. My manger has not come to my office to complain, I will cross my fingers and take it as a good sign (it took us 3 years to convince her to try Greek food, I really hope this doesn't ruin our future lunch adventures). My rating, based on the train wreck lunch today I give 1 star, the second is for the times in the past you did things right. Hopefully you guys will pull it together, maybe it's all the "new" items clouding your collective reasoning. Leave the Pizza and burgers to the other guys, go back to doing great Gyros. read more

I used to go to the other Daphne's location in Rancho Cucamonga. After a long hiatus, I decided to try it out again and found that it was closed! Luckily, this Daphne's is close enough to the other location so I could get my Greek/Mediterranean quick fix. I usually end up getting the veggie combo plate for lunch because it includes spanakopita, hummus, falafel & dolma...YUMMM They do have many kabob plates as well other vegetarian options for a decent price. The service is fast so you can have lunch during the weekdays here as well. It is quite popular though so you may have to wait in line for a little bit. I recommend it as a somewhat healthier option for fast-food. read more

The falafel is the best thing here and then its kind of downhill since most of the food can use more flavor. If it weren't for my junk-food-junkie tendencies to eat falafel, I'd opt for more authentic greek food. I don't normally like baklava because many places use too many nuts & cinnamon for me and Daphne's is no different. read more

On 5/31/20, we ordered 2 family feasts and 8 chicken kabobs. The male employee repeated the order and it was correct. When we got to our party, there were no kabobs. I was not charged but that is not the point. We needed the kabobs because we ended up running out of food. I wrote a comment to their corporate office explaining the issue. The local director responded with an email on 6/9/20 apologizing and offering gift cards. I responded immediately thanking him for his generosity. Today is 6/23/20 and we still have not received the gift cards so we have another fail. No thank you to the gift cards and no thank you for a return visit. read more

Love It!!!! we go Every time we are visiting my family in Ontario! the food is fast and delicious! usually get the hummus, red pepper hummus is the best, and the hawaiian pizza. the greek pizza is pretty good (kinda weird having pizza w/ cucumbers but they pull it off). salads....well, ALL the food looks fresh and appetizing. the restaurant and their restrooms are always clean. they usually make at least one mistake on our order, but they are quick and good about fixing any mess ups! :) parking is easy, prices very reasonable and...... I JUST LOVE Daphne's! read more

A bit over priced for a take out lace. It gave me my falafel fix but the falafel was over seasoned and dry. Cafe Mordeno in Montclair is a restaurant. Overall, Daphne's is probably more of a 3.5 stars but I bumped them to four since they are a pretty good Mediterranean place for this area. My wife and I stop in here for lunch and got a few different items to share. We had a gyro pita with fries, a spicy pita burger, and a cup of the lemon chicken soup. The soup was pretty good and was like a comfort food with the lemon and chicken flavor coming through strong. The gyro was good as well and was fairly large sized with a lot of meat but the pita itself was a bit stale and even with the sauce a little dry. The pita burger had similar issues. The burger had good flavor and the spicy feta had a nice heat but the pita was very stale and took away from the dish. Like I said, the restaurant overall was pretty good but not great. But finding Mediterranean food in this area can be hard and this place does a very good job hitting the spot when you're wanting it. I might be back when in the area again. read more

Even though Daphnes is a chain the food is good. Usually when my husband and I eat there so the food doesn't take long, but you can tell that is fresh. The seating is ample and allows for you to be able to sit where you please. They bring the food to you and don't expect you to clean the table of your dishes as they come around and do it for you. read more

Omg I just have to say they used to be good years ago. Then we'll I went to the foodlab in downtown riverside and you talk about fresh. This place was way to salty they charge you for sauce. I would never come here again. They had the doors locked around 12:30 when they open at 11am. read more

I tried the new Zesty Steak Pita for lunch. I was disappointed that there was fat on every bite! I could not chew it, so had to spit it out! Very little else in it, a few pieces of tomato, a little lettuce and the mozzarella cheese was only on one end. Fortunately, the Spanakopita is always good! read more

Have not been to a Daphnes in forever. Used to go to the Rancho Cucamonga one some years ago until they closed that location. I've missed this place. They recently sent me an email for my August Birthday with a $5 reward added to my Daphnes account. Only down fall to the Ontario Mills location is they have early closing hours here as I have tried to come to this location before but they were closed. They have a very Friendly, Personable lady at the register named "Marquisha". The perfect person to have as the first Impression when you walk in. read more

Quick review: Enjoy the food as it's consistent and fairly cooked most of the time. Once in a while, it'll be a little salty but edible. The main complaint is the wait, if you come after work, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes for your order even if the place is fairly empty. While the staff are nice, it does not make up for the wait and sometimes poorly prepped food. read more

Very delicious Greek food. Everything seems fresh and service is always nice. When I go I usually get the falafel plate with rice and a Greek salad! Plus how can you go wrong with Pita!!! This place is very clean.. When I walked up to the cashier I was greeted and the cashier took my order. The customer service here is very good they don't wear name tags so I can't mention any names, but I was very satisfied with the service. I got a falafel Pita and fries. The pita was a very moist and delicious and the fries were very good I do recommend this place. read more

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and I would not recommend it to anyone. The prices were outrageous for the quality of food that was served. Everything we ordered was bland and dry, it was clear that no care or attention was put into the preparation of our meals. To make matters worse, I ordered a family meal and was charged for a larger size without my knowledge. When I got home and realized that my order was incorrect, I called the store to inform them of the mistake. The person who answered the phone was the same individual who took my order and he became defensive and argumentative when I brought up the overcharge and missing items. In the end, I spent $90 on food that was practically inedible and ended up not eating any of it. The customer service was also extremely poor and left a bad taste in my mouth. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment and I advise others to steer clear as well. read more
