Chilaquiles

On the reviews recommendation I tried the chilaquiles with steak. While the eggs were cooked perfectly and the beans good flavor, that was the only good items on the plate. The chips were soggy and the steak overcooked. Good customer service. Overall I would not recommend

Pancakes, eggs, sausage

Decided to come by after getting gas at Costco and have heard 50/50 about this place. I didn't order anything exotic as my breakfast was pretty basic. I say they did a good job with my dish but wasn't anything super. Service was good as our servicer always checked in. Solid spot overall just not a spot I'd say would be my go to.

Classic platter with Italian Sausage Pattie

This is a cozy place. Mexican and American choices are offered. The coffee is good though I'd prefer it was a bit hotter. The service is very good. The Classic platter with Italian Sausage Pattie, eggs, potatoes and toast are all tasty. The Italian Sausage Pattie has a very slight kick.

Ordered the Monte cristo sandwich for $18.99. Service was fast and sandwich was nice and hot. French toast was light, eggs were over hard and Swiss cheese nicely melted. Waitress was friendly and provided outstanding service. There were both booths and table with chairs for seating. Atmosphere was calm and casual. They had cute Knick knacks for sale at the register and I got a unicorn Pegasus for $1, my granddaughter will love it!

Anytime we're heading over either Pacheco Pass or Hecker Pass it's a must stop at Dany's for a high quality, large portioned, delicious breakfast. That mug of OJ was fresh and the food hot and comforting!

I discovered Danys a few months back while at WalMart in Gilroy. I wanted a sit down meal and was delighted with my experience. Danys has an extensive menu with American & Mexican items on the menu. The food is fantastic and the service is good too. I've gone in several times and they remember my order every time. The indoor seating is plentiful although I recommend you go early on Sundays as they're always lined up to get in. The restaurant is cozy and cheerful.

We finally had a chance to eat here since I have been hearing its really good. Not sure about the really good part. We were seated right away, service was quick, and food was so-so. I food was ok for me, nothing that I am craving again or would go back to eat.

Lumberjack special, requested no potatoes, fruit instead.

Delicious omelette, salsa was very good. Generous portions. Best service around, attentive, gracious. Pleasant diner experience. Pleasant music and loved the cute plates!

Food is tasty with a Mexican flare and big portions. Service is fast. Ambience is standard coffee shop style.

There is also a pool table and few arcade games! The menu is extensive with plenty of traditional bar food options and some Irish staples. Everything sounded delicious, but I opted for the Pop"s Pub burger. I figured that would be a good starting point to get a feel of how good the food is. The burger was good, but not $21.00 good. The fries were tasty ,and I really enjoyed the side salad that came with it. The burger itself came with lettuce , tomato and a house sauce (thousand island blend). The burger was cooked perfectly , and tasted pretty good. However, when you add a $10.00 IPA to the equation and throw in a tip- I was out $41.00. I didn't like my meal enough to spend that kind of money. For a burger to be this pricey, I needed more. This place seems like a cool place to chill ,watch a game, and enjoy a cold beer. I may just do that next time and skip the meal. The service was poor. Once my food was dropped off , I never heard from the lady again to check on me until she dropped off the check.

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, asked if we've been in before, and told us about the specials. The interior is cozy, it kind of reminded me of dive bar vibes. They have a lot of drinks on tap and some frozen slushies. I opted for organic iced tea since I don't drink. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed one of the slushies was non-alcoholic so I might try that next time. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Chili Cheese Fries and the Supreme wood-fired pizza. The burger was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was delicious, the bacon and onion rings were crispy, and the fries were great. I enjoyed the chili, but I didn't think the cheese sauce or sour cream really stood out. I thought the crust on the pizza was perfect, I really enjoyed the wood-fired vibe and fresh toppings. This would probably be my favorite pizza if they used better mozzarella. For now, Bizza is holding the top spot for me since they use Butcher's Son mozzarella, and in my opinion, it's the best vegan mozzarella sub I've ever had from pizza spots so far. Even though I have notes, I still think the overall meal was a home run and the staff were super friendly so they get 5-stars in my book.

As for service it's really hard to tell who works there or is hanging out at the bar. The waiter that I didn't know was a waiter didn't even say anything when we walked in and I grabbed the menu myself and sat down with my family. Still nothing. We had a party of 4. Finally she came over about 10 minutes in, and asked for our order after seeing we had a menu. The gentleman that brought out meal out asked if everything looked right and asked if we needed anything. Partly thru our meal we were all so hott because it's 100 degrees outside and I guess they don't have Air conditioning so we were waiting for water, finally I went up myself with our glasses and asked for them to be filled. I waited there because I didn't want to risk her taking forever to bring the glasses back to our table. Again, great food but service from the waitress could be better.

When we came back, Saulo and the entire staff were welcoming, hospitable, and accommodating. Our boys have special needs, and since this was their first time bowling, it was definitely a new experience for them. The staff was patient, kind, and made us feel completely comfortable. Huge thank you to Saulo and the entire Gilroy Bowl staff for taking such great care of our family. We'll definitely be back. The garlic burgers and chicken sandwiches are also good, though intense for sensitive stomachs. Fortunately, the burgers can be customized by removing the garlic as desired. The cantaloupe-mango smoothies add variety, while the fried artichokes feel distinctly Californian. The Kitchen Sink was great as well, with amazing hash browns and generous portions. Definitely a solid choice if you're looking for a hearty breakfast.
