My car got side swiped last week, I had some shallow scratches on the Drivers side of the car on the back corner. I can't believe how good a job they did replacing a front door and fender, even exactly matching the half of the racing stripe that had been there. All I had to do was give Ron my car key and the insurance papers and he did all the rest, picking up my car and delivering it back, dealing with the rental car. Now that's what I call service! Just got our car back from Danilchuk. It was a great experience all things considered. They met us in Charlestown - on time. Took the car then and there. He estimated a week to repair the damage and gave us an accurate estimate quickly. They finished in 9 days, dropped the car off at our home, did a courtesy detailing of the car and took care of the insurance claims. Easy... and the car looks great. My only issue is that they never answered my e-mail asking for a status update. Considering they were exceedingly helpful by phone, I'm still giving them 5 stars. I would use them again... After seriously denting, scratching and doing all kinds of damage to my drivers side back door thanks to an unfortunate encounter with a brick wall while attempting to make a tight squeeze out of a parking garage, I brought my car to Danilchuk. I wish I could give 6 stars!!!!!!! My car was in 2 accidents this year, once in January after the huge blizzard and once in August (repeat customer over here ) Rob was so amazing at going over every detail of the process from quote to pickup. He also NEVER highballed me for parts or labor and often articulated multiple replacement solutions that would drive down cost without skimping on quality. For my second accident I was going through my insurance to get the money to fix my car- I was fully ready to go through the whole process to get my check on my own BUT Rob and his team took it upon themselves to work with my insurance company to make sure that they were paid and I never put my card down... talk about customer service!! Also Cindy and the front desk was so nice and friendly every single time I went to the shop, which really added to my experience. I don't write many reviews but I can't help myself after this experience. I didn't even get my car repaired here, my sister did, I just need to tell this customer service experience. My sister and I were going away on a family vacation, Danilchuk Auto Body was recommended to her from a friend. They agreed to take her car while we were out of town, just drop it off on her way out. We drove over and as she was dropping the car off, I was trying to get an Uber to take us to the airport. The service on my phone was miserable and I couldn't get it to load. In comes Eric, he offered to take us to the airport. He was so polite and so accommodating and I just couldn't believe he would take a customer to the airport, talk about above and beyond. He dropped us off and as I'm waiting in the security line I realize I can't find my wallet, panic totally sets in. My sister calls Eric and he said he would run back to the shop and check her car, of course it was in the front seat. He grabbed it and came all the way back to the airport to give it to me. This all happened during rush hour, after hours for him, he obviously had plans that evening as he had his girlfriend with him. I have no idea who this man is or how long his family has owned this body shop but let me tell you, you will almost NEVER find a shop with this kind of customer service. This man actually gave a s**t and treated us like humans, talk about compassion. O, and my sisters car looks amazing! When I discovered my car had been broken into I was more than distraught. They shattered the window, broke my mirror and, I assume, after finding that the bag they were going to steal was empty they also trashed the interior of my car. Even though I have insurance, I knew that this was going to cost me time, money and a huge headache given previous experiences trying to fix my car. I dreaded it. Danilchuk Autobody changed my perception entirely. Knowing Eric Danilchuk I called him first, he told me to bring the car into the shop. He gave me the information I would need when talking to my insurance company and that he would handle the rest. After a FIVE minute conversation with my insurance agent, they told me that they would call back if there were any further questions. The next call I received was from the Danilchuk Autobody shop telling me my car was ready to be picked up less than a week later. I couldn't believe that it was the same car. They not only fixed all the damage to the exterior of the car, but also had it professionally detailed. They put in new floor mats, washed it, and provided me with the best customer service I have ever received. All FULLY COVERED by my insurance. Amazing. I'm not kidding when I say I almost felt like leaving a check for whoever it was who broke into the car because it now feels like a brand new car. I can't speak highly enough of Danilchuk Autobody. We had been loyal clients of Danilchuk's for over 30 years. Recently my truck was damaged due to a contractor, I brought my truck to Danilchuk to be repainted and have all the damage and scratches corrected as well as the windshield replaced. While replacing the windshield they scratched the paint on my hood which he never repaired they broke both of the window rain guard visors in order to get my truck out fast they missed or ignored more than half of the dents and scratches he was to have repaired.
