I've always been kind of…read moreskeptical about repair shops cause I never know what to expect and because this is only the second time I've really had to bring a car into a shop for repairs. I also did my research into the place and saw that it was a certified Honda specialist, which is a huge plus because I love my accord and I'd much rather work with people who know what they're doing than just have an idea of it. I met with Kevin and he really took the time to initially review the damaged and explained to me certain things about the process and repairs, such as estimated amount of time needed for the repairs and what bumper was used in the appraisal. He also explained things that I wasn't really aware of like how my insurance should've been the ones to really get after the party at fault's insurance to get this cleared up for me rather than having to do it myself. He also got me a discount on an original Honda bumper for my car (which I paid the difference for since an after market bumper was used in the appraisal), which I really appreciate since I'd like to keep all the parts of my car original. Basically Kevin took a lot of time out of his schedule to explain to me all of the things that would happen during the drop off, the repair, and my rental car process. I would also like to mention that Aubrey, who sits at the front of the establishment was also very nice and explained additional damages that had occurred and what I'd have to do with my ez pass when driving the rental car. All in all, it was a smooth repair from drop off to pick up and I would definitely come back to this place if I ever needed any repairs done or any minor touches. 10/10 would recommend.

When you pull into the driveway you can tell he has a very steady stream of work. The owner came out of the office with a warm smile on his face and he told me where to park. He put his kind hand on my shoulder and said that it's cold outside. And let's go upstairs. We filled out the paperwork and the rental arrived. Days later I go my car back and the bumper was as good as new. There was no dust, no discoloration. My bumper looked like my car just rolled off the assembly line. (For context, I'm an automobile attorney, so I know exactly what to look for.) Shockingly, they flat-out refused to provide it. That's a massive red flag. Any legitimate shop operating in Massachusetts should have no problem showing proof they're properly registered. The refusal alone tells you everything you need to know. Proceed with extreme caution.

I had a very disappointing experience with Sako Auto Body. After someone hit my parked car outside…read moremy apartment, I took it to them for repairs. From the start, things went wrong. They ordered the wrong wheel, installed it anyway, and returned the car to me claiming the job was complete. Worse still, after taking my car to the dealership for a follow-up inspection, the technician discovered damage to the front axle, hub, and bearing--despite the accident occurring in the rear. Sako Auto Body had completely missed this or refused to address it, leaving me to cover those costly repairs out of pocket. On top of all that, the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) warning light is now permanently on--something that wasn't an issue before the accident or before they worked on the car.
