I get the chicken kabob plate, comes with hummus, chicken, and salad. Their food is delicious, and inexpensive. I have never waited long for my food, and service has always been great. You can also smoke hookah at the restaurant. They have lots of flavors to choose from, and are constantly making sure you have enough coal. I ordered one small appetizer and one plate. I was told it would be 15 minuets. It took 50 minuets to get my food!! On top of that the hot appetizer was cold and the food was not well done at all even though I told them I wanted the chicken and meat cooked very well done. I love coming here. The grill for one is fantastic and is a proper size for one granted you are an elephant...otherwise, it's good for two. Hookah is good as well and there's a nice, laid-back atmosphere at the restaurant. Just don't order a gin and tonic. read more

We just had our engagement party here about a month ago, and the food and service was fantastic. We had several friends come up to us and say that they're very meat and potatos type people, who've never had eggplant salad, tabouli etc, and that they loved it. Prior to the event, we sat down with the owner, and were able to discuss exactly what we wanted, incuding the food, drinks, set up. He let us come in the night before and set up the tables, chairs, bistro tables, and lounge charis, and this really helped us because had we only been able to set up on the day of the event, we would have been exhausted. The price for all of the food and service was very affordable and we really appreciated that management let us come in several times to try and figure out how we wanted to setup/decorate the place. All in all, it was a great night and celebration. read more

Better grade food than Samara, they have a beautiful patio to dine on.They use great meats in theirr preparation.. Portions are large and the service is good. They have hookahs available for their patrons but I am there for the food. read more

I love this place even though at first i had some issues with the old staff that worked here. Great food and great hookah. I work at a hookah lounge so iam picky with hookah. I think its time to get new hookahs but still good quality smoke. I recommend watermelon, grape, mint hookah with the meat over hummus and iced tea. read more

Truly Disappointing experience arrived in a party with reservation on shawarma night (Wednesday). They only had one waiter and one cook. 1.5 hour wait till we got the food. Kids were starving as were we. Very unacceptable. Food was as expected good, hence the 2nd star, but not exceptional by no means. No apologies made. Water was not being refilled even though we called multiple times for refills. Water glasses dirty and one with broken glass edge and almost cut my brother's lips. read more

I thought Dandana would be a nicer place to hangout on a Saturday night, unfortunately I was wrong. First, the food was a dis to mediterranean food. The meat (kabob, and chicken) were so dry even a dog will have a trouble chewing it, not to mention how salty it was. The hookah is meh! But better than other places I been to "hookah wise only"! The place was a ghost town on a Saturday night, music was horrible, and service wasn't that great even though it was slow. I wouldn't be back to this place unless I was forced to, with bag over my head and a gun pointed at me. I love, love, love coming to Dandana for hookah and dinner. The hookahs are amazing and I recommend any one of their kabob plates. Though the place can get fairly busy at times (typically on the weekends), the overall service is pretty good and the staff is personable. I personally prefer coming here during the week because the waitress' are extremely friendly, the service is great and the atmosphere is a little mellower. Weekday visits are great for college students to study or quieter gatherings with friends. Overall, whether a weekday or weekend night, this place is awesome. P.S. Just got home from a birthday dinner at Dandana's. I have visited almost every Arabic and Middle-Eastern kabob place in L.A. and the San Gabriel Valley. Whereas one place will have good kabob, it will have lousy falafel or bad service. However, Dandana's has the BEST of everything. The chicken and steak kabob is so tender and spiced just right. The salads are fresh. Some of the best falafel I have had. I cannot say enough about the kind and attentive staff. If you blink, you will pass this place without noticing it, but the entire dining room was full. We had to use the banquet room for our dinner. GREAT FOOD & SERVICE. read more
