Whoa! Wait... WHOA! I accidentally found this place because my local panaderia was closed today, and I was itching for something new. Never did I expect to find something THIS good! Fresh Bakery is my go to place to have a light and delicious breakfast, brunch or light dinner too. I really love this bakery and how everything is very fresh. Whatever you order, it is from the oven to you. Sometimes, I have to wait a couple of minutes until my order is ready. Anoush always encourages me to call in advance to have my order ready by the time I arrive. The ladies who are working there are very sweet and friendly. I love their cheese borek, cheese and spinach,  lahmajun, cheese & Soujuk, maneish, beef borek and chicken borek. Their Dolma is so yummy and really delicious. They have also frozen food (kibbe, and Manty) They have also many desserts and Armenian cookies. I really love their dates cookies. I love the Armenian Pizza here. I have come here a few times in the past when I lived with my brother a few blocks away from the bakery. Pizza is delicious with a Mediterrinean type of cheese , meat and bread. Kind of a thin created crust on their pizza. Other menu choices look good too as well. Owners and workers are nice here. Awesome hole in the wall place that bakes an assortment of Armenian goodies. I only know of places like this in Pasadena and Glendale, so it's nice to see one closer to home. I called in the morning and placed an order for pick up of their Lahmajun. When I arrived everything was ready to go. One of my co-workers also wanted an order so I placed another while I was there. They make everything fresh so I went shopping in the Middle Eastern market next door until the order was ready. I paid and got my full order and even for some cheese bureq for myself and chatted with the lady (Anoush) in the front. Everyone was friendly and I was happy to find out they also make pomegranate paste Lahmajun, so I'll be calling in for that next time. The Lahmajun was for my boss and co worker so I didn't get a chance to try one and didn't have time to do an order for myself, but I heard it was delicious. The cheese byureq I got was very good, so I highly recommend getting that. Definitely worth stopping by here for some authentic Armenian baked goods. read more

Still 5++++ stars. Everything is made fresh, in house, daily. I recently discovered they make "party size" items so you can get smaller lamacun, zatar, etc which are excellent for big gatherings. Came here on a Sunday morning. The bakery is clean and the staff is very nice. The person helping me was very clean to make sure he didn't touch money then my food. Believe it or. It it happens all the time which is pretty gross. Anyway I loved how sanitary they were! Hard to come around that nowadays. I got lahmajoun (Armenian pizza) which was delicious. I came into fresh bakery in search of food like my grandma used to make for me - manti, lahms, kibbe etc etc I was greeted by an incredibly nice lady & her son, who were the owners (Petrosyan) and told them I had been looking for good Armo food, like grandma's. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Incredibly nice people and the food is delicious. Lahms: 10 Manti: 10 Kibbe: 10 Spinach borek: 10 Sini keofta: 10 Spicy cheese borek:10 Hummus: 10 My brother came in a couple minutes behind me to load up, and told me he had finished everything within 3 days because it was so good. I used to like this place but the lady with the glasses is rude! I ordered food take out and I went to pay, she took the money and went and started handling my food with the same dirty gloves she was just touching cash with. That's disgusting. Common sense! And when we told her we didn't want the food anymore for that reason, she straight up threw our money back onto the counter. She should of apologized and gave us a new order. If I could give ZERO stars, that is what they deserve. On Saturday, May 27th 2023, around 3 pm, my daughter and I went to this establishment because of a recommendation of their Lamaçun. A couple were in front of us in line. The lady was getting fresh Lamajun out of the oven, suddenly without greeting and with an extremely disrespectful tone she shouts thay if we wanted Lamajun, they ran out already, and to get out please. My first time walking into an Armenian bakery outside Glendale after a long time. It was almost closing time so my options were limited because they ran out of most of the best sellers. BUT the staffs (owners?) were really nice and they helped me picked out a couple of baked goods. I ended up getting their stuffed (with rice, onions, herbs, spices) grape leaves, another first, I've always seen them grape leaves on tv and food magazines but never gotten the chance to try it until now. There's the sweet and crunchy fig cookies and this pita bread that looks like indian paratha, dusted with sugar and it is SO GOOD and addicting. I look forward to try their best sellers and I hope to be introduced to more Armenian/Mediterranean baked goods! I am excited to find a place so close to home. *They open at 8am. Humiliating bakery. They pick and choose who they want to sell to. I walk in, there are people in line ordering INDIVIDUALS. They tell me no they only sell by the order. A guy comes in AFTER me asking for a cheese borak and they sell it to him. I call after I walked out they said yes they have what I want available. Disgusting and a joke. read more

I have been to this place a few time. The food is great. However my low rating is due to the service. I live 2 hrs away from this place and like to call in my order before arriving so I don't need to wait long I was told by them it's better to call in order because the run out quickly. The last time was a Sunday morning I went and was told they have nothing left to sell. Today, also a Sunday I called around 10am to place the order for pick up and was told to call them after 12pm cuz they are busy now. I told her that I'm traveling from far and would like to place my order so I can hit the road soon. She placed me on hold for over 45 mins while she took care of customers that were coming in. I only needed 3 things to pick up. This is just ridiculous service. How hard is it to write down the items quickly even if your busy it takes a few seconds. I'd rather drive towards Pasadena than deal with this BS and I pay them, it's not like it's free. read more
