Ordered from Tony for my 60th birthday. Tony was so accommodating and suggested options for a party of about 40 guests. When we picked up the food, he was concerned about the dips and hummus being spoiled on the way because of the heat. It was so hot that day. Hence he lent us a portable cooler. They rearranged the tables which were better than before We ordered the following to go; -Kafta Kebab: 4.5/5 Mixed ground beef, parsley, onion & Mediterranean spices, rice. It comes with green salad, pickles and onions and pita bread. The Kafta were very juicy and tender. The salad was sour. - Roasted Vegetable Medley: 4.5/5 Zucchini, eggplants, tomato, peppers, onions, rice and pita bread. The vegetables were very savory and well seasoned. - Sfiha (meat pie)     The Highlit 5/5 Homemade dough stuffed with mixture of pine nuts, ground beef, onion, pomegranate molasses & spices -Baklava  (6 pieces)  5/5 It was perfect! Not to sweet and filled with nuts. The only thing that I checked on Yelp and it said one free baklava but the lady told me that the deal was gone years ago. I totally understood, and I said it was okay since I was planning to buy 6 pieces of baklava. When I went home I read the previous reviews, many customers received the Yelp check in offer very recently. Anyway, the food was delicious and the baklava was outstanding. I came in today for lunch with my mom and the lentil soup was so flavorful and delicious! The seasoning on the chicken as well as the shrimp is unmatched from any other restaurant, even in my new area. He had freshly made appetizers and a plate ready for me to try. The food was delicious and tasted so fresh! The day of the bridal shower, Tony made sure he was available to deliver the food and make sure the upgraded set up was all up to par. They even provided printed cards which listed the items/ingredients being served. He told me all their food is taste treated prior to delivery. The set up was perfect and the service was top notch. Amazing food! This place has great food for a good price. Parking can be a little difficult since it's in a small lot, but not too bad. The staff was really friendly, I think I met with the owner. I got the chicken shawarma plate, chicken kebab plate, and falafel for the main meal. The plates were good. The falafel blew me away! It was crispy and flavorful, definitely dip it with the tahini sauce they give you. There's a cold section you can buy things to add to your meal, I recommend checking it out. I got the Mutabal dip, eggplant side. It was delicious with nice smokey flavors. Baklava was perfect way to end the meal. It was crispy, it was sweet but not too sweet, and it was very nutty. I used to love this place. It used to have good quality food, good portions, friendly service. But I got takeout from here recently and wow, not sure what happened, but it's not even deserving of one star. The lamb was charred to the point where it was pure black. So charred that the bone SNAPPED when touched. I am appalled that Waffa's Kitchen thinks it's appropriate to serve food like this to humans. The beef plate had the same issue--charred and burnt beyond the point of consumption. I am sad that one of my favorite places is so subpar now. Maybe they treat in-person customers better and my mistake was ordering delivery. But that's no excuse and I will be bringing my business elsewhere. How sad. read more

My wife and I had been searching for the perfect Mediterranean place, and there's a reason why we keep coming back five years later. We literally order takeout from them EVERY Tuesday, which we call Tahini Tuesday's. We order the Chicken Kabob plate every time, but we've also had their Lentil Soup, their Kibbeh Balls, their Chicken Shawarma, and their turnips. Literally everything we've tasted is top notch. My husband and I are obsessed with Mediterranean or Lebanese food. I ordered takeout on a Friday evening (they close early at 7). Waffa's is in a very small shopping center with tight parking. Inside it was really stuffy and didn't seem like there was any ventilation lol. Other than that, the place looked very clean. I ordered their shrimp plate and my husband ordered their lamb. When I got home, I DEVOURED my shrimp plate. It was soooooo DELICIOUS. Whatever that simple lemony salad dressing they use for the salad is beyond me. I literally drank that dressing. There was a lot of tasty buttery rice to pair with a good amount of flavorful shrimp. Their hummus was good but nothing exciting. The plates come with pita bread and I did have to ask for side of garlic. The sizes they gave me were tiny compared to other places I've been to. If you wanted a bigger size, you'd pay extra of course. I read someone's review on the man at the register being rude. I don't think so. He helped me pick out which dipping sauce to try. I opted for the "refreshing" yogurt and cucumber tub in their fridge. That was very good too. Would I go back? Definitely, yes.
