Good- food Bad- service. My friend and I went there for lunch . When we walked in , there were only 2 people at the bar area and 2 servers who did not even bother to greet us even though they both look when we walked in. We waited for a while to be seated. It took forever to serve our food. I understand if it was a busy day but it was not. Again, It was just us and the 2 other at the bar. I was satisfied with my order but, based on their slow and unwelcoming environment I don't think I will be coming back. Tasteful food and warm service goes hand and hand.

Yesterday was a complete blast! The amount of people that showed up was better than I expected, most of the samples were good! Also I'm familiar with after anyway but it was good to see them too! People were laughing enjoying the game and the ambiance . Thank you Yelp elite for making this Opportunity possible.

We were looking for Mediterranean food in Azusa and found this restaurant in downtown. The menu has a good variety. We got chicken and beef lule. The plate was big enough for us to share. It comes with rice or salad or a mix of both. We added on a lentil soup too. So yummy! What makes this restaurant so FUN is the commitment to the Dodgers. At the front door are cardboard cutouts of some of the players advertising beer. AND, every TV was set to the game when the game was on. People at the bar, the booths, and the tables were cheering... on a weeknight for a regular season game. We loved it! Parking on the street but more hopeful in the back.

Friend & I went after shopping, as I raved about their vegan beef Lule. It was about 1:30pm after lunch rush. Our server, we found out was the manager, she apologized for being out of the vegan Lule. She did suggest the falafel instead. My friend loves babaganoush, which we found out, the chef just made. She got a Greek salad- no cheese, added falafel. The manager was making sure everyone was helped - as she was waiting tables, server, and drinks. Luckily we were in no hurry. Food: the roasted eggplant is incredible and star of our lunch. Smoky, spicy, delicious. Falafel was light, crispy outside, tender inside. My grilled squash, zucchini, & onions were perfect cooked al dente. I took home over half of my plate, having filled up on pita & eggplant Definitely will come back again. Venue is cute, lemon decor, but not over the top.

Yum! First time trying Lemon Zest on a Sunday evening after church and boy did it hit! The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing, and our server, Jerica was so nice. We ordered the chicken combo and beef combo, along with a trio of starters: baba ganoush, yogurt, and hummus, and we can't forget the amazing garlic sauce! Both the chicken and beef lule kabobs were perfectly seasoned. The beef kabob was juicy and cooked just right. The rice didn't seem the freshest, but it was still tasty. The two combos plus the starters were perfect for our party of 3. We're definitely adding Lemon Zest to our Sunday dinner rotation.

I've been on a Mediterranean kick lately and I finally decided to dine at this restaurant. The restaurant is located in downtown Azusa and the ambiance is super cute. It's clean, the bar is beautiful and they also have 2 tvs for game nights. We were seated and given menus right away. Our waitress was the only server and she handled everything pretty well once service started to pick up. To start, I ordered the hummus with pita bread for the table. Their hummus is the best I've ever had! It's fresh, flavorful and the pita bread was warm and seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend the hummus! I ordered the Chipotle Chicken wrap which was delicious. It's served with fries or salad and I chose the fries. The fries were fresh and hit with the perfect amount of salt. My son ordered the Chipotle loaded fries and added chicken for protein. He loved his entree! My mother ordered the Kabob plate with beef and chicken which is paired with salad and rice. She said the chicken was very tender and delicious. I wasn't expecting me to love this place but, I do and it's my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant. If you're in the mood for an amazing meal, definitely come here.

Ambiance This Lemon Zest location is so clean, nicely decorated, spacious, has tvs to watch sports and a movie, and has a full bar. Vegan food I just love getting the vegan beef lule kabob plate (protein made of plant based beyond meat), which I always pickup to go. Maybe next time will stay to enjoy the atmosphere.

Charming and cozy, a very nice feeling as you walk in. Good Feng Shui. Welcoming feel and decorated just perfectly with small touches to make you feel comfortable with a relaxed familiar feel, just like when you've visiting family. What can I say they're Dodgers fans and we love that! Three monitors to watch the game while you enjoy a delicious dinner. The lamb T-bone steak absolutely delicious and it's complemented with basmati rice, and either a Greek salad or Caesar with shaved Parmesan both excellent! Friendly service even though we walked in 20 minutes to closing! Location on Azusa down the block from Max's, if you like lamb this is the place!

I have been to this establishment several times just for drinks. This time I had the opportunity to try there food. I had their gyro with lamb. It was tasty, seasoned to perfection and the tzaziki sauce was fire. The service is always impeccable and Rai is always a joy. The live band was the topping on the sundae.

I am honestly very disappointed in the quality of food cooked at Lemon Zest. I have visited this restaurant several times and never had an issue with my food . This is very disappointing, unfortunately I will no longer visit this restaurant again it has definitely changed.

Came here for a quick after-work bite, but unfortunately it wasn't very quick. It took a while for the waitress to come and take our order, and took foreverrr for the food to come out even though there was only one other table being served. So maybe don't come here if you're in a rush. I appreciate the freshly made food, it was delicious nevertheless. I'm in LOVE with the Greek salad. Just thinking about it makes me salivate. And not to mention the cute vibe inside.

This review is based on my visit on the morning of Valentine's Day…read more This place popped up on a search for coffee in the area. It was only a 2 minute walk from where we were so we decided to check it out. On the outside was a holiday themed drink menu and the Butter Me Up sounded like something we'd enjoy. It was a cookie butter latte which whipped cookie butter and a cookie crumble on top. It may sound very sweet but it was actually perfectly balanced and allowed the strength of the espresso to come through. The barista was very kind and patient with us. She also let us know that they were hosting a karaoke night later that day. We waited in the patio connected to the cafe for our drinks. It was a very lovely day so the sun and scenery was nice and peaceful. Definitely looking forward to another visit

Today, my friend and I ordered a Coke and an ice water and sat in the lounge area to work on assignments. The café was far from full, with only a couple of other people in the lounge and plenty of open seating available. After about an hour, the owner came over and rudely told us we were "holding two tables over a Coke" and pressured us to order more. I understand businesses need customers to make purchases, but there is a respectful way to communicate that. What made the situation worse was that after I ordered a coffee, she immediately turned to my friend and basically stared him down with a strict look, clearly expecting him to order something too. I explained that we were going to split the coffee, because we're both trying to lose weight, but she continued making the situation uncomfortable. Staring down a customer and making them feel pressured to spend more money is not how you treat paying customers. What makes this even more frustrating is that the menu is already severely overpriced for what is offered. On multiple occasions, I've heard the microwave running while food was being prepared. Paying premium prices for what appears to be microwaved food is disappointing enough without being pressured to spend even more. Even though we only ordered a Coke initially, and have only done that once before, we were still spending money. As regular customers who come here often, you would think that would be appreciated rather than criticized. Be thankful people are still choosing to spend money at your business. Honestly, after today's experience, it's no wonder this place is often empty. Customer service and hospitality matter, and making customers feel unwelcome, guilty, or pressured to spend more is a great way to drive them away. The interaction was uncomfortable enough that I asked for my food to be packed to go and left. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. It's a cafe, not a 5 star restaurant. People want to come here to work on assignments or have a coffee and talk. Even though I didn't want to spend 9 dollars on a coffee, I still purchased something. Edit from her Google response: Now you guys see what type of owner she is by her response. Truly, truly a fake person, and we always spend money coming here (now she wants to lie and manipulate since I have her attention). I always purchase a coffee and more, and I have receipts to prove it. I do not use her WiFi for free, as I am not a rude person unlike her. I don't just order a soda like this owner claims; see my receipts on my credit card. My friend and I ordered drinks and were talking and doing assignments for about half an hour (while she and her waiter came up to us like 10 times to ask us to order, even though this is a cafe), even though we said we would order later. If you're broke, just say so, lady. Trust me, at this rate, this place will close down soon. Like I said, this is a cafe where people come to have a drink, relax, talk, study, or work on assignments; not a restaurant where customers are expected to order a full meal every time they sit down. We purchased drinks, planned to order more later, and were still repeatedly approached and pressured to order. Please do yourself a favor and stop lying to the public. I did not come here four times and just use the WiFi. I paid for the WiFi with my extremely expensive and disgusting coffee and food, which is shown below in the receipts. I did not buy $2 sodas every time. The receipts I attached are from my card, but on many of the other visits my friend paid with his card and spent just as much. So trying to claim that we were sitting here for free or only ordering a soda is simply not true. Now that I have proved you wrong in front of the public, I hope everyone sees you for who you are. You are a money-hungry liar! Lastly, you are right; you're not Starbucks. Starbucks would not treat customers that way, and I'd much rather spend my money at Starbucks anyway.Glad we're on the same page!

My husband and I usually order take-out, but on our recent visit, we decided to dine in. We arrived on a Sunday evening (5pm). Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza. We found one in the shade. The restaurant is small, but they utilize their space well. There are 4 tables and I believe 3 high-top tables as well as outdoor seating. The interior is well-kept and decorated nicely to match the Greek theme. Ordering takes place at the counter, no self-serve kiosk. They have many menu options like sides, gyros, plates, kids menu, family meal, lunch specials, soups, and desserts. My go-to item is their Greek Chicken Pita with Lemon Sauce in place of the tzatziki ($13). I would sometimes order this with a side of fries, but my husband got it in his combo. The reason I order this all the time is because the pita not only tastes amazing, it's also filling! There's grilled chicken, potatoes, pickled onions, greens, and lemon sauce. The pita is thick and has the perfect chew to it. There is so much flavor in every bite! The fries were delicious as well. They were soft on the inside and crisp and seasoned well on the outside. Overall, a great spot for Mediterranean food. I would happily recommend this to anyone!

Overall, the food was good. The beef was especially tender and flavorful, I actually enjoyed it more than the chicken. The hummus was a little bland for my taste. I also paid extra for a side of garlic paste, but it wasn't included with the order. I didn't realize it until I got home, so I should have checked the bag before leaving. The prices also seemed a bit high compared to other Mediterranean restaurants we've visited, where similar meals are more reasonably priced. The restaurant itself looked a little dated and could use some attention. It didn't feel very clean, and the entrance seemed cluttered with gates and signs, which didn't make for the most inviting first impression. Overall, the food was enjoyable, especially the beef, but between the online ordering issue, the missing item, the atmosphere, and the higher prices, I felt the experience could have been better.
