Beef kafta
Jared R.

Walked in and was greeted by the cashier, very friendly. Ordered the beef kafta and shawarma plates. Came with your typical hummus, pita, salad, tomato, rice and protein. Good portions, place could use a little TLC. Overall good experience

Highly recommend this place! Great service and such amazing food. We got the duet kabob and we split and obviously it was huge portions. Everything was so aromatic, from the rice to the veggies to the meat. I'm obsessed. A little hidden gem for sure. Kal was super cool and accommodating and gave us recommendations when we were browsing the menu and overall a really cool guy. Again I highly recommend this place!!

This place has THE best mediterranean food I've ever eaten!! The owner is super duper friendly and welcoming! Their foods are spot on with the seasoning and flavors. You can tell everything is made with TLC . I highly recommend this spot and get the empanadas!! I could eat 6 of them in one seating if I could hahah

Chicken Shawarma

I wouldn't consider myself as someone that avidly enjoys mediterranean food. However, I wanted to give this spot a try since I was in the area. The one thing I was craving was a beef shawarma. However, the staff informed they ran out for the rest of the day. I was a bit disappointed, but could understand since it was close to 6 pm. I got a chicken shawarma instead and a side order of falafel (4 pieces). There was no one else at the store at the time, so I was able to order right away. There were a few seating booths inside where I waited for the order. I did bring it home to eat though. The lady that helped me was really nice. I had questions that she was able to answer. It seemed she was the only staff at the time doing both front and back. Definitely keep this in mind and be patient when ordering! The falafel was a bit dry by itself. However, with the ranch sauce, it tasted good. It would be a 3.5/5. For the shawarma, it also tasted decent. I felt the portion of chicken was a lot. It was a 4.5/5, but I felt the beef shawarma would have easily been a 5/5. I definitely need to come back and try that next time! American Express is accepted.

I grew up eating beef kabob back home, in the Philippines - I've had kabobs in different cities in Cali but Aladdin Jr by far is meeting my taste buds cravings! Thanks Cal for being so nice and friendly. Will keep coming back!

Oh my gosh! This place has the most flavorful chicken kebabs in the universe--period. The food was amazing, incredibly fresh, and truly authentic. The pilaf was delicious, and don't even get me started on the hummus! If you're looking for real Mediterranean food--not that corporate stuff--come to Aladdin. The owner is a very kind and welcoming guy who makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. Highly recommend checking them out!

I really want to blame myself for not coming here earlier. Food is immaculate. Service is epic. The owner is very sweet. It was the best empanada I've had(sorry no picture) If I were to mention maybe they can work on the walls (just to smoothen out) and wipe the hood vent on the outside better with no streak marks. Nothing major.

Chicken Kabob(Shish Taouk)

My girlfriend and I had the beef shish kabob, chicken kabob, and kabis, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in very generous portions. What made the experience truly special was the owner, Kal, who treated us like family from the moment we arrived. He is an absolute gem, and the food is amazing. We can't wait to go back!

The folks behind the counter are friendly and helpful, the food is so good and one meal was enough when I took it home and served it to my family of three. I normally pay digitally, but I had cash on me and haven't had a chance to deposit it into my bank. Unfortunately, they told me they didn't have enough change for the $100 bill. I understand that businesses can occasionally run low on change, but this was extremely inconvenient. I was short on time, hungry, had more than enough money to pay for my food, and still almost had to leave without my order because the establishment couldn't accept my cash payment. What made the experience more disappointing was when I asked the cashier for a phone number or someone I could contact to share my experience and provide feedback. I was told she didn't know of any number and wasn't given another way to contact a manager or someone in charge. I ended up making several calls myself to find someone who could send me money digitally. Eventually I was able to get the money sent to me and pay for my order, but I shouldn't have had to go through all of that just to pay for a $25 meal when I was standing there with cash in hand. I'm not leaving this review because I expect every business to always have unlimited change. I'm leaving it because I think a restaurant should be prepared to accept normal cash transactions or, at minimum, have a reasonable solution when they can't. And when a customer asks how they can provide feedback about their experience, there should be a way to direct them to management. It turned what should have been a quick food stop into an unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming experience. I wish i could post a positive review on the food, but that definitely ruined my experience.

It looked super good, and seemed worth the $25 price tag considering it could likely feed two people. My wife agreed to try it with me and we weren't disappointed. The dish consists of a half a grilled chicken splayed over a bed of za'atar fries (which upon a quick google, is a middle eastern herb/spice blend). The chicken is covered in a yellow special sauce which tasted like a super mild Japanese curry in my opinion. Also included was pickled red cabbage, laffa bread (a thinner flat bread dusted with a nice blend of herbs/spices), and two sauces: garlic sauce and shawarma aioli. The chicken had a great char to it, which I welcome on grilled chicken. I thought the yellow sauce on top was going to be more citrus flavored because the yellow color and restaurant/dish name, but it tasted more like a mild Japanese curry, which I really enjoyed as I'm not a huge lemon fan. The fries had a nice crispety crunch and also paired nice with the excess sauce drippings. I enjoyed that it came with so much laffa bread, because it honestly might have been my favorite thing. The spice mix on the bread was so perfectly salty and herby and complimented anything you through in it. There were so many fries that I ultimately just kept making little fry taquitos our of the bread, and dipping it in the various sauces. It would be nice is there was more chicken and less fries, if you're going to share between two people, but it ultimately was enough food for us since my wife is a light eater. The service was standard. It's order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to notify you when your food is ready. It took a little while compared to the other places my friends/family ordered from, but it makes sense given the complexity of the dish in comparison. For having limited options overall for a food hall, I really like what Glendora Public Market has to offer, and I'm glad to add Limone to that list! Aside from the food, there's plenty seating/space for groups of many sizes. Overall, I think Limone deserves a full 5-star for serving up a great dish with a great presentation at a great price (especially for a food hall!). I'd certainly like to come back and taste some of their other dishes!
