Harissa Steak Plate steak fries
Jane K.

Honestly I love this place but the steak was a little too well done today.. I'm not sure if that's all the time but this Thursday night I was like ehhh. Not bad tho. The music vibes friends and beer made it all good. Steak fries were AMAZING and the garlic sauce that comes with it wow I wish the steak plates came w the garlic sauce bc that is game changer. I had to go and buy two more sauces bc I wanted more... The cashier wasn't too friendly- it prevented me from wanting to approach the counter, maybe she was having a bad day but dang really felt she like she hated being there... or I was the worst person in the world I also love their cookies I bought 3 of them Togo. This was for three of us and we couldn't finish it! So big! Will def ask for steak to be more tender and I'm buying a tub of garlic sauce! Yum!

Harissa Steak Plate ($19.50)

I had a lovely experience at Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora). I ordered the Harissa Steak Plate ($19.50). It's sliced, juicy steak drizzled with harissa aioli sauce, fresh saffron rice, laffa bread, wet baba ganoush, and salad. It's delicious!! I arrived at Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora) on a rainy Monday (around 5:12PM). Parking is easy; I quickly found a spot. This business is located inside the Glendora Public Market Food Hall. Staff is professional and efficient. Staff quickly answered my questions, and Staff worked hard. This location received a steady flow of customers. Staff hands customers an electronic pager that buzzes when the food is ready. My meal took about eight minutes and 56 seconds. Quick!! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Harissa Steak Plate ($19.50). The steak is firm but not dry; it's juicy with a very faint, pleasant charred taste. The clean flavor of meat shines through! I especially enjoyed the drizzled harissa aioli sauce. This sauce tasted almost honey-like with a soft spice kick. YUM!! The salad is also clean. The jasmine rice arrived warm and fresh. And the laffa bread is firm yet fluffy. The baba gaboush was very wet and squishy, but it tasted clean. Regarding ambiance, Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora) is inside the Glendora Public Market Hall. The place had a good amount of customers! I am especially impressed with how the Glendora Public Market Hall appears more clean and maintained compared to past visits. Currently, it felt very comfortable! There's plenty of indoor seating. There's also two flat screen tv's and a tv projector nearby. The music is also bouncy. The location also felt surprisingly shiny and fresh. There's also a nearby restroom; the restroom code sits on the counter. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at Limoné Mediterranean (Glendora). The food is tasty, well-prepared, and fresh! If searching for Mediterranean food, this is an easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5

Food is tasty but missing something....i can't pinpoint what exactly it's missing maybe more seasoning? The fries were yummmyyy, perfectly seasoned and fresh. they also sell a very yummy kombucha. Would definitely come back to try other things!

Ordered to go. Friendly staff. Food was ok. Generous portions. It's located in the Glendora public market so you definitely have options for food, drinks and sweets.

Drinking on the job I guess?

My parents and I eat at this restaurant often, we love the food! It's unfortunate that last night, we received pretty terrible service. I know the World Cup game was on last night, so the woman who was taking orders at the front was a bit distracted - I get it. I just don't think it's fair that I accept the type of service I received last night just because the game was on. It is totally possible to watch the game AND do your job...just not for the employees last night. My parents ordered the chicken and fries plate, they always get that. They put their entire order to go, when they didn't order it to go. My parents kept saying "why did I pay this much to put my own meal together?" About 25 minutes passed by and my order, the feta fries, was not out. I went up to check on my order and the woman working said "sorry he forgot to make it." And I replied, "my family finished their meal already". She said "do you not want it anymore? He's almost done." So I waited another 5 minutes (I guess he wasn't almost done...) and my order was ready. No apology. Also how do you forget to cook a meal when it's literally your task? While I was waiting for my food, there wasn't a single person in line, and the woman who ordered shortly after me got her food right away. While my family sat there and waited for me to finish my meal (cause they already finished their's) the same woman who took my order and didn't apologize for the kitchen staff forgetting to cook food, went over to smog city to grab a seltzer and Micheladas for her and the other guys working. It is really unprofessional to be drinking on the job. I'm really disappointed by this whole experience because my family and I really like this place. After that bad experience, we won't be eating here again. I hope management addresses this with their staff. It's also a huge safety hazard to have your kitchen staff drink while working, especially if they are working with knives and fryers. Yikes.

I was visiting friends in Glendora and decided to come here for lunch. This place is located inside the Glendora Marketplace Food Hall. Ordered Chicken Shawarma plate. Added extra Garlic Aioli Watermelon Lemonade The chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy and flavorful. The plate was plentiful and filling. Friendly Service and fast service. Ambiance is nice and clean.

I came to Glendora Public Market for the first time and Limone Mediterranean caught my eye. I went up to counter to order and the guy taking my order was nice and efficient. I decided to get the salmon plate after quick deliberation. I waited about like 10-15 minutes for my order and then the buzzer they gave me rang, and I went up to get my order. My salmon plate looked really good and the seasoning for the salmon was on point. The salad and avocado were fresh, the tzatziki sauce was solid, and rice was delicious! The plate was a little pricey, like $21 before tax and tip, but the quality was really good. I definitely would like to try their chicken shawarma plate next time.

I visited Limon Restaurant, a Mediterranean cuisine spot inside Galendora Public Market, during a non-crowded time, so there was no line. I ordered their wings, and they were super flavorful, very distinct, with a heavy dill presence and a nice mix of spices. It wasn't too hot spicy , just a very unique flavor. If you're tired of standard options like lemon pepper, parmesan or Cajun, this is a great alternative. I do recommend starting with a small order, maybe 4 or 8 pieces, just to see if you like the taste, as it's pretty bold. I also got crispy fries, which were fantastic: fresh and really crisp. I also tried the cauliflower bites, and they were surprisingly delicious. again, a distinct taste, full of spices. I'm not exactly sure which country's cuisine this is from, but it was really unique, even if they label it Mediterranean. I would say try it, but again, just start small if it's your first time. I really enjoyed it, and I would go back though it's not an everyday stop for me, maybe every few months. The staff were nice Just a heads-up: there's no refill on fountain drinks, and there's no water station either, so if you want water, you'll need to ask the server for a small cup. But overall, it's a great place with a fresh, bold flavor, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

Located in the market, limone was one of the few vendors we were interested in. We got the hummus plate to share which I loved! It wasn't just raw veggies but they seasoned it which made it extra flavorful. Also some of the best pita bread I've had. The chicken platter was also delicious. Best fries and sauce - so crispy even though it was drenched! The chicken itself was tasty but I can understand how some would find it dry. It's just the style - the meat itself is not dry - just not the most tender. The skin is dry/crispier but that's how it's supposed to be! Perfect for sharing.

Chicken Shawarma Plate. Great portion of chicken with soft laffa bread.

My go-to restaurant in the Glendora Public Market: I would definitely recommend the Chicken Shawarma plate which comes with a side of hummus, saffron rice, salad and their laffa bread. They put this sweet/mustardy sauce on top of the very tender chicken that really adds to the flavor. Their laffa bread too - so soft and buttery; it really sets it apart from the usual pita bread and this is the component I crave the most. If you're feeling more indulgent, the zatar fries are so well cooked and crispy and getting the feta fries is also a solid choice.

I enjoyed both the Chicken Shawarma wrap, and the Salmon Wrap I ordered from this spot. The young man that took our order was pleasant and very confident that I would be please with my selections. The food was fresh and the taste was consistent with the Mediterranean flavors I am use to. However, I just wish that the wraps stood out a bit more. Meaning, I wanted to be left with a desire to return. Not that I won't, but I'm still waiting for that one Mediterranean spot that stands out, where I am willing to drive the distance to get the exact savor I'm searching for. The restaurant was nice, and it appeared to be very clean. It is definitely worth the visit.

Nothing crazy out of this world but a nice fresh option for those on a lunch break or busy day & you don't want chain food. Pros: great spacious dining atmosphere & HUGE portions. All ingredients tasted super fresh. Cons: the steak was pretty tough to chew through. Would have liked it to be more tender & juicy. The place itself is a spacious food hall that's great for studying or a quick lunch break.

Food very dry?

Food is definitely not dry!

Are you really charging $20 for a chicken plate? Is this for a whole chicken family size?

It's $24 for a half chicken platter. In my opinion, it's enough for 2-3 people and it's delicious.

Today we visited the Diplomat Jr. in Glendora and it was not the quite the "upscale" Mediterranean dining advertised, but quite the contrary this time. From the fruit flies & black fly constantly buzzing around our table and landing in our food, to the lack of standard Mediterranean type accoutrements omitted from our meal. The chicken was seasoned and flavorful, but somewhat undercooked. The typical Mediterranean saffron rice was now replaced with plain [bland] rice pilaf, and no hummus or garlic is included with your "Mediterranean" meal. You must pay $10 extra for hummus, and $4 extra for a 2oz disposable container of garlic; a total $14.00 extra for condiments. But you do receive a large Mexican chile and cooked tomato, (to which i personally did not eat because i avoid highly acidic foods.) I would recommend to the Restaurant owners to keep the front door shut (especially when it's 92° out), or install a fan over the front door so that flying insects can't get in, annoy customers & contaminate the food. I would also recommend serving a traditional saffron rice since it is a "Mediterranean" restaurant. Additionally, the hummus was horribly boring and could've used a little garlic added for a little flavor, or garlic, infused olive oil blended it when making it. Garbanzo beans by themselves are boring and flat in flavor. The service was lacking, as our waitress slow or MIA most of the time & in fact at one point we had to leave our table & go find her in the bar as she was helping the bartender with no customers present. I normally pay digitally, but I had cash on me and haven't had a chance to deposit it into my bank. Unfortunately, they told me they didn't have enough change for the $100 bill. I understand that businesses can occasionally run low on change, but this was extremely inconvenient. I was short on time, hungry, had more than enough money to pay for my food, and still almost had to leave without my order because the establishment couldn't accept my cash payment. What made the experience more disappointing was when I asked the cashier for a phone number or someone I could contact to share my experience and provide feedback. I was told she didn't know of any number and wasn't given another way to contact a manager or someone in charge. I ended up making several calls myself to find someone who could send me money digitally. Eventually I was able to get the money sent to me and pay for my order, but I shouldn't have had to go through all of that just to pay for a $25 meal when I was standing there with cash in hand. I'm not leaving this review because I expect every business to always have unlimited change. I'm leaving it because I think a restaurant should be prepared to accept normal cash transactions or, at minimum, have a reasonable solution when they can't. And when a customer asks how they can provide feedback about their experience, there should be a way to direct them to management. It turned what should have been a quick food stop into an unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming experience. I wish i could post a positive review on the food, but that definitely ruined my experience.
