This place used to be Cafe X2O until the new owners took it over as Cloud Castle. It's so new that the old Cafe X2O signage is still outside so when in doubt, look for the Cafe X2O signage. I hope that they will be changing the signage soon. This place only has outdoor seating for now. It does get a little cold outside, so they do have heat lamps spread throughout. Make sure to sit near a heat lamp. It is nice to just watch the cars drive up and down Grand Ave. I know they have food, but haven't tried it yet. They have some pretty interesting non-alcoholic drinks if you are looking for that. They don't have middle eastern tea. It seemed quite busy on a Saturday, so it did take a while for them to bring the hookah and the charcoals for the hookah. It also took them a while to turn on the heat lamp so we were cold outside the heat lamps were able to be turned on.

I stumbled across this hookah lounge by mistake a few months ago, truly a mistake that became a blessing. I was a regular at X2O for years but the atmosphere at cloud castle has my heart & is now my forever go to. The owners are so welcoming, personable & truly make it feel like a homey environment. The owners are all so different in their own special ways & so hard not to love! God bless all three of their beautiful souls & wishing them nothing but constant success with the business! I absolutely love this place!! My favorite hookah spot that also has some amazing food and desserts. After their relaunch they bought all new hookahs and introduced a ton of new items like hookah flavors and foods/desserts. I highly recommend the Dubai chocolate crepe and ultimate pizza, but I've tried a lot of items from their menu and they are all spot on! I also love that they have weekly promos to invite people in like happy hours. Their instagram @cloudcastlelounge has a lot of updates and new item drops! All in all, the vibe and ambiance at this lounge is absolutely fantastic and really is such a great spot to relax and just smoke and enjoy time with whoever you go with! Absolutely Incredible Vibes & Service! Cloud Castle Hookah Lounge is hands down one of the best lounges I've ever been to. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is chill, classy, and welcoming. The lighting, music, and layout create the perfect spot to unwind, vibe with friends, or even have a relaxed date night. The hookah itself? Top-tier. Smooth pulls, great flavor selection, and the staff checks in regularly to make sure everything is perfect. You can tell they actually care about the customer experience. I tried a few of their house mixes and was seriously impressed--super flavorful and long-lasting. Service was on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Now, this place is a bit strange get for me. There's no menu or servers. It's a counter server. We walked up to the counter inside the building, the menu was up on the board on the wall. They took our order and we paid them there at the counter like you do at a movie theater, or leave your tap open and pay later in case you want something else. We decided to paid them right after we ordered because there's no food... they had some store bought sweets and some drinks like lattes or sodas and chips . Luckily we had dinner already before trying out this place. Now, although we were disappointed with no food or appetizers like most hookah lounges would offer but this place has good hookahs. We stayed just a little over an hour after we had our hookahs and some hot teas. Definitely will go back for their hookahs, just make sure you had dinner first before going there. read more

Finally, the hookah is good. It's actually excellent. I'm sure they'll bring in food pretty soon but I mostly come for hookah and atmosphere. Great and accommodating place! I along with several of my work colleagues went there a few days ago and the service was phenomenal. The servers were very knowledgeable and helped us buy the items we were looking for. All the staff was sociable and added a good vibe to the place. I also love that they had the vegan pizza. It was delicious and filling. The cheese was perfect and the toppings worked really well. Kudos to the management for carrying this item. Overall 10/10 would highly recommend. read more

A couple friends and I showed up to end the night after celebrating a buddy's birthday. It was lightly raining and they had already put most things away, but the owner was nice enough to set a couple tables back up for us and let us hang out until closing time. I really don't recommend them the way they speak to us was awful. Then they asked for id which is totally okay but the way he looked at us like we had fake id or something. And we ordered he was like the hookha we order he said that men can't even handle it that is very sexist. like what. Today, my friend and I ordered a Coke and an ice water and sat in the lounge area to work on assignments. The café was far from full, with only a couple of other people in the lounge and plenty of open seating available. After about an hour, the owner came over and rudely told us we were "holding two tables over a Coke" and pressured us to order more. I understand businesses need customers to make purchases, but there is a respectful way to communicate that. What made the situation worse was that after I ordered a coffee, she immediately turned to my friend and basically stared him down with a strict look, clearly expecting him to order something too. I explained that we were going to split the coffee, because we're both trying to lose weight, but she continued making the situation uncomfortable. Staring down a customer and making them feel pressured to spend more money is not how you treat paying customers. What makes this even more frustrating is that the menu is already severely overpriced for what is offered. On multiple occasions, I've heard the microwave running while food was being prepared. Paying premium prices for what appears to be microwaved food is disappointing enough without being pressured to spend even more. Even though we only ordered a Coke initially, and have only done that once before, we were still spending money. As regular customers who come here often, you would think that would be appreciated rather than criticized. Be thankful people are still choosing to spend money at your business. Honestly, after today's experience, it's no wonder this place is often empty. Customer service and hospitality matter, and making customers feel unwelcome, guilty, or pressured to spend more is a great way to drive them away. The interaction was uncomfortable enough that I asked for my food to be packed to go and left. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. It's a cafe, not a 5 star restaurant. People want to come here to work on assignments or have a coffee and talk. Even though I didn't want to spend 9 dollars on a coffee, I still purchased something. Edit from her Google response: Now you guys see what type of owner she is by her response. Truly, truly a fake person, and we always spend money coming here (now she wants to lie and manipulate since I have her attention). I always purchase a coffee and more, and I have receipts to prove it. I do not use her WiFi for free, as I am not a rude person unlike her. I don't just order a soda like this owner claims; see my receipts on my credit card. My friend and I ordered drinks and were talking and doing assignments for about half an hour (while she and her waiter came up to us like 10 times to ask us to order, even though this is a cafe), even though we said we would order later. If you're broke, just say so, lady. Trust me, at this rate, this place will close down soon. Like I said, this is a cafe where people come to have a drink, relax, talk, study, or work on assignments; not a restaurant where customers are expected to order a full meal every time they sit down. We purchased drinks, planned to order more later, and were still repeatedly approached and pressured to order. Please do yourself a favor and stop lying to the public. I did not come here four times and just use the WiFi. I paid for the WiFi with my extremely expensive and disgusting coffee and food, which is shown below in the receipts. I did not buy $2 sodas every time. The receipts I attached are from my card, but on many of the other visits my friend paid with his card and spent just as much. So trying to claim that we were sitting here for free or only ordering a soda is simply not true.Now that I have proved you wrong in front of the public, I hope everyone sees you for who you are. You are a money-hungry liar! Lastly, you are right; you're not Starbucks. Starbucks would not treat customers that way, and I'd much rather spend my money at Starbucks anyway.Glad we're on the same page!

SERVICE REVIEW ONLY…read more Excited to try this place got there and was pretty packed. We had to track down someone to see if we can get seated. We were told someone else would help us. Well that person never greeted us and the person who passed us along sat outside with her friends or family looking into their phone. A group of other patrons outside weren't getting any service too. When they finally got some service I saw a lady working there drop their napkins on the floor and instead of getting new and clean ones she gave it to them anyways. That was my breaking point and we had to leave. We sat over 20 mins waiting for someone to let us know they got us but it never came. Not sure if I will go back and it was a one off. If I ever do I may change this review. However, right now I'm sticking to this review as it was my experience. Hopefully other people won't experience the same. In our current economic state eating out is a luxury. Restaurant owners please treat your patrons with love and respect.

So we opted for Eden Garden Café. What a great decision. Service was on point, considering it was cold outside. We were totally comfortable with great chairs and plenty of heating to keep us warm. The combo plates are usually my go to, especially the spicy combo. Portions are solid and it's the kind of meal that always hits the spot. The owner Adam is amazing and goes above and beyond for customers. Even on delivery orders he makes sure special requests are taken care of, which says a lot about how much he cares about the experience. They have a full bar and a great selection of beers on draft, and the hookah option makes it a fun place to hang out and spend time with friends. This place used to be the fantastic CafeX20 Glendora. New owner is some dude who claims that "renovations are coming" but there's still no improvements. No food. No coffee or tea either. Just hookah and warm soda cans. Plus they play explicit rap really loud. And the guy is full blown MAGA. Avoid this place and head to Cafe X20 in LaVerne or Eden Garden Cafe for excellent service and excellent selections. Never going back. read more
