Every time Uncle Dale comes into town from his tiny little town where apparently excitement is hard to come by, we know we've gotta take him to Norman or OKC and find us some GOOD food! We had Uncle Dale over here in his cut-off shirt, blue jeans, and of course his pliers hanging on his side in a leather case because apparently you never know when you're gonna need those. Super small Snow Crab. End parts were useless. 60 dollar king crab was good but some hollow pieces. Came out to 10 bucks per bite. Some did not pull good. Catfish 7/10 good Hushpuppies 10/10. Our go to seafood joint! Staff is always amazing, I've never had a bad experience and I've been 20+ times. This is definitely the cheaper option for seafood but they don't compromise on quality (as much as they can) the lobster is usually overcooked and I don't recommend it but it's still flavorful and tasty, just chewy. Snow and king crab are always on point along with the crawfish. Drinks are amazing and the prices are even better! Like I said this is the affordable seafood spot making it a perfect place for a quick stop without paying an arm and a leg. Never once have I heard a bad thing about this place. read more

The worst seafood ever, all grease , trashy crab legs, precooked meal just heated in microwave( according to the server) in a plastic bag the bag is removed at the table, barely any meat on crab leg, unfriendly server. Everything here is excellent! We went after it first opened and several times since. The variety of food is quite surprising I LOVE catfish and have always eaten it fried, well theirs isn't fried, and I was pleasantly surprised! I e been back for more! Now, I have several others going as well and the prices are better than expected. The service was too service is tops shelf and with the complete remodel from what it was the ambiance is great. So good!!! Went on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy and they had plenty of staff working. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. The food was sooo good and had large portions. We had two boils. One dungeness with sausage and the other snow crab with clams. It was all sooo good. Got the lowest level of spicy and it was still very hot but delicious. The calamari was yummy and the sauce it came with was also good. The only negative was the strawberry daquiri. It wasn't blended well and had a lot of ice chunks and the mix wasn't very good. Has plenty of parking and seating inside, staff is attentive and engaging which makes for pleasurable dining experience. I'm not a huge fan of seafood or Cajun joints in general, however, this is one of the few and rare exceptions where everything was done greatly enough that my bias was put aside. To talk about the food, the food was noticeably freshly-made due to the temperature, and the taste was also on the same level. Not only was the Cajun food perfectly cooked, there wasn't a negligence in the fried foods, as the rues are probably one of the best fries anywhere, easily ranking in the S tier, and the fried fish was a bit soggy, but the taste compensated for it. As for the interior of the place, it's all pleasing to the eye with a shade of the "ocean-vibe" via ornaments and decorations. For the service itself, there wasn't a single thing to complain about, since our server was open-minded and patient while knowing when to bother and ask if everything was all right. Though this place was an excellent experience, the bathrooms needed some work, as it absolutely did not fit the joint's interior at all nor was it up to kept. Kn a side note, the urinals are some of the tallest urinals I've ever seen, and a kid would need to be hugged up in order to ... I'm gonna stop there. We got our drinks super fast and then we ordered and within 10 to 15 mins we had our food. And let me tell you, my husband can eat! We went to angry crab shack in Tucson AZ before we moved out here to Oklahoma and the serving we got out there was so tiny and it was expensive. I'm from the east coast and I hate how hard it is to find well-cooked seafood in this land-locked state. I was really pretty impressed with this place. The menu is pretty straight forward. Pick your seafood, your sauce and your spice level and they bring it out. The seafood was good quality and not rubbery like seafood at so many places here. You do not get your bang for your buck at this place. Seafood is not fresh and it tastes like rubber which I guess makes sense cause it's Oklahoma. Ordered a pound and a half of crawfish and maybe got 15 which was pretty disappointing. The portions are definitely way underserved and even though they say they discount drinks from 12-6, they don't. There was no flavor and it was very salty. The Fried calamari was good and crispy but the Cajun fries had no seasoning flavor.
