good variety of food very friendly service lots of different flavors! Exactly what we were looking for. Surprisingly for us they have beer on tap there if you get thirsty read more

I like the nautical theme inside with various shades of blue. Service was decent. Food was just okay. The ordered the large chicken strip platter to share with okra and onion rings. The okra was pretty good. The chicken just tasted like grease. Needed some kind of sauce to help it. We didn't find any "rings"... only bits of thin onions. read more

I went to lunch at the Catch with a good friend and we both loved the food. I had the shrimp boil and sausage with Cajun spice, it was great. My friend had the crab boil and was loving the Cajun spice. I was able to take some home and enjoy an additional two meals, which means there is plenty of food for the price. The waitress was amazing. Great flavor Plenty of food Service that rocked Unbeatable, within budget. read more

Wonderful service. Food is always consistently good. Reminds me some of home, North Shore New Orleans.

Gumbo is amazing love the fish also great staff and environment. will be going back soon !

Great food. Just so sorry we loss the one in Sherman Texas. So if we want to go we have to go to Texarkana.

Quick and yummy! Best ate at the restaurant - not carry out. And this review is making me write me than I want too. So Yelp sucks

We were really pleased with our visit to The Catch last night! The bright blue walls were a warm welcome sight once it was so chilly last night. My husband and I both got the shrimp and fish combo. It was so hot when they brought it to us we had to let it cool. The fish was light, crispy, and very clean. The shrimp was so so big! Probably around extra large size. It was fried basically perfect. The tartar sauce was not my favorite but satisfactory. I had the red beans and rice. It was seasoned perfectly for my taste with a small amount of heat. The sausage was a very pleasant addition in the beans. My husband thought they could have used more salt. My hard to please children also really like their fish! We will definitely be back to eat here in the future. read more

The food was decent, the crab/shrimp boil was mediocre. The service wasn't really that good and I think the cashier lied about their crab cakes being made in house, unprovoked. Te ambiance is okay spacious but super cold inside. Also got a cup of red beans and gumbo both was alright. Nothing to write home about read more

I had a late lunch at The Catch on a Thursday. Since it was past 2 there was only 1 other person seated in the place. They cooked my meal fresh, so it took a bit, but it wasn't too long. This was during the COVID pandemic, and they were doing a good job of keeping the place clean. Some seats were closed to allow for distancing, all employees had masks, and I saw several people come wipe down surfaces, even if they hadn't been touched since the last time they were wiped down. I went with the catfish po boy, fries, and a cup of red beans and rice. The food was not out immediately, which is a good thing as they prepared it fresh. But, it also didn't take too long. It was definitely fresh, so hot I had to give it a minute. The catfish was fried well and had that classic cornmeal crust. It needed a bit of salt, but other than that it was a solid piece of fish. The bread, on the other hand, wasn't great. It was a cheaper loaf and flimsy. I wish they had a more substantial (and flavorful) bun, as the sandwich basically fell apart. I would get the catfish again, but maybe not in po boy form. The fries were beer battered and good, but nothing to write home about. You've had similar fries at other joints. The red beans and rice was slightly soupier than I prefer but the flavor was strong. I added some hot sauce but that was it. Probably the best dish of the meal. The Catch did not blow me away on my first visit but they did enough right for me to come back and try something else. I look forward to trying them again. read more

The gumbo is delicious and the alligator is very tasty. Service is great with an easy going atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great food, fresh and fast! Great wine prices too during week with inexpensive glass of wine!

Good food and friendly service I had cat fish and jumbo shrimp and red beans and rice not disappointed the place is clean I going to try a po boy next time. read more

I was accused of using a fake $100 bill. The problem is it came straight from the bank and I went back to the bank to find out it is, in fact, real and the bill was just old. Be careful paying with cash here. I was told they did not have the marker to verify the bill. Also told they have received a lot of counterfeit money during the holidays. They are going with their gut.Spoke to manager and he was rude. Pretty strong accusation towards me and the bank. Not good! read more

Being from Houston & visiting Louisiana often, I'd say this place is definitely on par if you enjoy really great Cajun food!!! Since it was in season I had the crawfish boil (extra spicy) along with a cup of gumbo & both absolutely hit the spot & were delicious!!! read more

I have enjoyed the food for several years. However, after my last visit, never again. I usually get carryout. Which means I have ordered and paid for my food. I entered, waited to be acknowledged by the cashier, who looked at me then ignored me. I told him I had carryout, he said you'll have to go to the back of the line, which had 8-10 people. I said for carryout? He said yes, I said I can see the order right there. He said you still have to get in line. Seeing no one else to appeal to I did so. When I got to the front, another person, who said he was a manager was there. As I was repeated my concerns, the cashier interrupted me, and I said I'm not speaking to you. The manager said you don't have to talk to him that way. I said, I'm done here. And I am, never again. read more

Awesome food & very consistent. We'll definitely be back regularly. They have the best okra in town.

This place was not good. I order the lemon butter crab boil and received a plate full of lemon butter with my potatoes and corn and crab just thrown on top. Usually with a boil it would be taken from a bag and it be steamed and melted butter with seasonings. The butter in my plate was so thick I thought it was scrambled eggs! Everything was ice cold as well. The lemon butter seasoning was so over powering it burned with every bite it literally hurt my jaw. I didn't take a photo of the meal but after the fact to show all the butter!! I learned that if I want a good boil I'll go to Pier 88 next time. read more

The Catch - Seafood Near Me - Moore, Oklahoma

We found out about The Catch maybe 3 months ago in Oklahoma City near the Penn Square Mall. When we found out they were opening one in Moore we were so excited. First off... seafood is great for those trying to eat healthy. Of course if you do not get it fried and such. They were set to open May 27, but opened a few days early. The location is easy to get to and perfect for dinner before or after movie at the Warren which is right behind it. The food was great! The staff was helpful and kind, especially for just opening. The food was piping hot! Just how I like it. The salad looked so fresh! I highly recommend trying this place out. Try sitting outside on a less windy day... ha, yep less windy in Oklahoma... does that happen. Haha!! But, I love that there is outdoor seating. read more

Our first visit to "The Catch" was a great one. We had the White fish Tacos, the Fried Green Tomatoes, Po'boy sandwich and the Fried shrimp. The food was really good and the staff was friendly. Everything was clean. Not super busy at 11:30 on Sunday, so we were able to order immediately. read more

They lost my order, and now I am waiting for a refund! They called and told me to wait 3 days for my refund.

THE Gumbo was amazing, just like back home in Louisiana. They fried catfish and hushpuppies were great too. The guy at the check out was a little aloof, but over all the service was good. The atmosphere was just right. Definitely going back. read more

It was pretty good food. I hit the fried seasoned fish and it was tasty. I personally didn't care for the seasoning on the fries. Imagine Long John Silver's (which I love) but a little fancier. Employees were friendly. Place was clean. read more

This food is not fresh. It's precooked. They warm it up. Very salty. Cafeteria style. It is a clean place.

Tired of them getting my order wrong. Good food, but you can find better elsewhere. And get better service.

Take-out order that I have really been wanting to try! The food was ample serving size and was a good temperature when we made it home! The staff was friendly and noted that they had added both tarter sauce and cocktail sauce to my order but the cocktail sauce was missing! The major thing was crispy ness of fried food, in this area the food was not as brown (crispy) as my usual seafood choices. I will be going back as I want to try this place again for dine-in options. read more

First time here! Went for lunch with my wife. We split a large shrimp and catfish platter and a bowl of gumbo. Everything was on point! Definitely some of the best Cajun food I've had since I left Louisiana. And to think I'd find it in a strip mall in Moore, OK! Keep up the good work! We'll be back! read more

Super rude management. I've never encountered service staff this rude before. Beware.

We came for an appointment. Thought this place looks pretty good near by. We came and got the clam chowder which was actually pretty darn good. So, as we waiting for the rest of the food. We expected it all to be just as good. NOPE. The boil literally had NO seasoning in it. I mean, NOTHING. It tasted like it was made with dirty water. And the crab was definitely over cooked. When you expect it all to just come out fine, nope. It all just stuck in the crab leg. And we couldn't get past the one bite in the corn. SOGGY. Like it had been sitting in the water since days before. Overall, I don't know, maybe we just ordered something that this place isn't famous for. But it's going to have to be a while before I give this other place a try. Especially because of its prices. It is most certainly NOT worth what we paid for. read more

Everything is always excellent. Manager on duty makes sure everyone has what they ordered and make sure they are satisfied.

Third time to eat at The Catch and it's good. Really like the Cheese Grits and Shrimp Etouffee. Not a fan of the Red Beans and Rice or the Gumbo. Hush puppies are good when fresh. Banana pudding was okay. Like the restaurant atmosphere and the service was excellent one time and mediocre the other time. I'll go back because of the food that I did like and it's close to my home. read more

We have dined at this location several times with very good food. On 11/28 we ordered two 2 piece fish baskets. The fish this time was really hot but considerably thinner and not very crisp. The fries were so salty we had to try to wipe off some of the salt. They were over salted by a lot. For the price we paid we will not be back again. read more

It will be interesting if this restaurant makes it in Moore OK. Daughter and I went for lunch. We both had a po boy sandwich that came with their fries. I had oyster and my daughter had crawfish. The sandwiches are loaded with meat. I had a side salad which is $5 but I'll mention it was large. Should be for $5. My daughter had okra and we are okra snobs. Okra was terrible. Fried to long like eating marbles. The Catch is a walk in, order then have a seat restaurant. Not my personal favorite but certainly the trend in the industry. A lot of the menu was market price. Even the shrimp cocktail. Shrimp market price? I want a seafood restaurant to make it in Moore so I hope they stick around. Lunch for two was a little under $50. This is the part that is going to be the challenge for The Catch in Moore. read more

Never again will I go to this restaurant. Not only was the staff extremely rude but they refused to accommodate my husband's food allergy. He is allergic to crawfish. When he asked to substitute it off the plate they told him no substitutions. Then when asked to just leave it off the plate completely they refused that too. Needless to say we left. Walked down to Olivetos. They were amazing! read more

First and foremost, the staff is friendly and efficient, the food after ordering took less than 10 minutes from starting the order to the table! They ended up forgetting my fried pickles but quickly remedied it! Now onto the good stuff! Shrimp tacos were gotten by my wife, she found the flavor bland and lacking texture or flavor! My son got the fried Gator which IMO was the highlight of the meal! The fries are great, but you can find the same in the grocery store that has those small little fried bits attached to the fries itself! I got the Gumbo! While the roux was lacking body or even the full Cajun effect, felt more like it came fresh from a freezer, and while roux isn't supposed to be overly complicated it's the foundation of any good gumbo or red beans and rice! If it is homemade, it was undoubtedly frozen and thawed! The sausage had obviously been stewing in it and had no snap to it at all! Along with the rice being in there the entire time rather than placed on top of the gumbo! BTW, where was the shrimp? they felt like little shrimpettes than actual shrimp! I picked up the crawfish as it was out of season and it was fried, while the flavor was there, it hinted more towards being fried than any semblance of crawfish! I found myself dousing the meal in malt vinegar! The fried pickles were what you'd expect and a safe bet for any appetizer! Overall I would go back! Only because of the SOLID customer service, the gentleman at the counter made an impression of a man who not only cared but wanted to please his guest, I can honestly say if he goes, I'd probably walk to the door! read more

Don't write good reviews, just make sure I go back to them a lot . Won't be going back to The Catch ever. Fried catfish came out slimy inside, like it wasn't cooked enough. Tater sauce is nothing but an oil based dressing. I can't say anything I purchased, almost $30 was worth eating. And it didn't help to see both cooks in the kitchen vaping, I'm sure blowing their smoke all over the food . I'd give this place 0 if I could. read more

Enjoy eating at the restaurant near Classen Curve more than the Moore location. Both are good but the one in OKC seems to have better food for whatever reason. Don't kid yourself we live in OKC and we won't get Cajun food like you will get in Louisiana so quit writing reviews about how the roux doesn't have the right body and how you measured the viscosity of the roux and it didn't match what you get from mama down in de swamps or some high end place in LaFayette. You want food that good drive your ass to Louisiana if you want the best Cajun food around these parts drive on over to The Catch and enjoy. read more

Both times we've ordered its been so good and the staff was very helpful. We will eat here again for sure
