It will be interesting if this restaurant makes it in Moore OK. Daughter and I went for lunch. We both had a po boy sandwich that came with their fries. I had oyster and my daughter had crawfish. The sandwiches are loaded with meat. I had a side salad which is $5 but I'll mention it was large. Should be for $5. My daughter had okra and we are okra snobs. Okra was terrible. Fried to long like eating marbles. The Catch is a walk in, order then have a seat restaurant. Not my personal favorite but certainly the trend in the industry. A lot of the menu was market price. Even the shrimp cocktail. Shrimp market price? I want a seafood restaurant to make it in Moore so I hope they stick around. Lunch for two was a little under $50. Never again will I go to this restaurant. Not only was the staff extremely rude but they refused to accommodate my husband's food allergy. He is allergic to crawfish. When he asked to substitute it off the plate they told him no substitutions. Then when asked to just leave it off the plate completely they refused that too. Needless to say we left. Enjoy eating at the restaurant near Classen Curve more than the Moore location. Both are good but the one in OKC seems to have better food for whatever reason. Don't kid yourself we live in OKC and we won't get Cajun food like you will get in Louisiana so quit writing reviews about how the roux doesn't have the right body and how you measured the viscosity of the roux and it didn't match what you get from mama down in de swamps or some high end place in LaFayette. My husband and I are seafood fans. Typically We don't find what we like that often in Oklahoma when it comes to coastal selection. The Catch - well it is perfect! The combination of heat, humidity, and stagnant oil was almost unbearable. The hostess/waitress was pleasant, but the dining room was chaotic and unclean. There seemed to be a mixup on where food was supposed to be delivered, which is understandable since our table had three previous number cards that were never cleared during bussing. The self-serve section was a disaster. Although the sign in the ice-machine assured the customer that it was only slow, not broken; that did not seem to be the case. The utensil bin was disheveled and empty of forks. It remained that way for a long time. Catch-22 platter was clumsily presented but cooked well. All of the stacked platter items causes everything to take on the not-so-subtle taste of fries. The well-advertised 1.00 beer apparently does not exist. Piping hot catfish that was definitely made to order! We got the jumbo size which had 4 big fillets of fish served with fries and a hush puppy. We got a cup of gumbo to try and it was good, but I thought it coulda had just a bit more meat - the flavor was delicious and not too spicy we waited in line about 10 minutes and the to-go order was ready in about 10 minutes. The problem wasn't with the staff- so that's why I didn't leave only one star. I haven't been to a place in a while where the food was just gross, but this restaurant will take the cake on that. I ordered a fried catfish/chicken combo. The catfish was decent, and the 2 hush puppies that came with the meal were the best part. The fries had a weird sweet twang to them- not sure what that was about... the chicken was supposedly fried, but let's call it a mushy fried. Excellent in every way. I went in for my first time and ordered the gumbo. It was delicious and the manager was extremely friendly. Checked on me twice while I was there. The jalapeños chips were amazing and so was the whitefish basket. I can't believe it tasted so fresh and delicious. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Ok, food tasted real good. All 4 in my part had crab boil. That's the only good thing. Place is HOT and it is not that hot outside. Service is slow. They didn't bring the appetizer until they brought the meal. The whole point in appetizers is to have something before the meal. Service people aren't the friendliest and are disorganized. They were trying to clean the table while we were still sitting there. As in wiping it down and forcing us to pick up our cups. For the money I am disappointed. Great food but they need to work some kinks out. The wait was a little long and would have been understandable had my food come out piping hot. They mixed up our number and we watched them go from table to table until they got to us to find whose food it was, so that didn't help. My catfish was hot but fried crawfish was room temp as were the fries. Taste was great, not too fishy and very fresh. Fries were definitely a highlight the seasoning is awesome. Ice machine was out so room temp drinks were the only option but I understand they are a brand new place. Overall great food and very nice staff. This is a great new addition to Moore. I haven't even gone to Smashburger since I've been living here. Thank goodness The Catch took over. This place was busy with a line going towards the door the entire time I was there. Everyone was enjoying their meals but there was also plenty of time that we had to wait for our food. The food takes forever to come out so don't be too hungry. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. There was plenty of flavor where you don't need any sauces. read more

Not the greatest experience, we waited an hour for our food to come out and it wasn't cold but it wasn't fresh hot either. The chicken strips were on the dry side for me, the hush puppies were super tiny, the fries were okay, the fish was good but, it wasn't the best I'd ever had and lastly the shrimp it was pretty good just nothing to write home about. The lady taking the order said they had chipotle ranch and when the food came out they said that they quit selling the chipotle ranch (they've only been open, what a week?) The ice machine wasn't working so all the drinks were hot. So all in all, I may try it again in a couple months but I wasn't impressed. read more

Family members met here for an early lunch on Saturday. Almost as soon as the door opened customers started pouring in. When we got our food we understood why. E erything was tasty. We all were tasting each other's food. Some standouts were the sides: Cheese grits, corn meal fried okra, cole slaw, battered fries, red beans and rice... all were yummy and the regular size was huge. Our entrees were delicious! White fish tacos, catfish, shrimp etoufee(just the right amount of spice). Yum! We will be back. The service was friendly and quick. Came in last week and was told it would be no problem to have etouffee on my chicken tenders. They made my food and I was very pleased with it. Then came in on Sunday night and asked for the same etouffee and chicken tender combo and was told that I could never have etouffee on my tenders. When I told assistant Manager that I had just had this combo the week before he told me that couldn't be true because he had worked there for four years and they have never done that. The manager with short blue hair is a total bitch to her employees, very rude and condescending. I felt sorry for the employees there. It made us feel awkward being there. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered through a delivery service and since it was a fried selection I knew it was risky. It arrived hot and was very tasty. Couldn't decide what get so I ordered the Admiral's platter. It was a ton of food easily enough for two. The fried green tomatoes were among the better I've had, fried okra on par with other local restaurants. I would definitely recommend and visit/order again. read more

The price was way too high... the food (what little that we got) was sub standard....Tried to get some tartar sauce, but they didn't have lids to fit the cups....Called the manager, then it got worse...She was a ripping BBBBBBB. Instead, of trying to correct things, she said, "well, just don't come here again." Not a problem... I will not go there again. Whoever owns this place needs to get new management, at the very least. Easily give this 4 stars because they have gator on the menu. And its cooked correctly too. Not rubbery, not over cooked or undercooked. But cooked correctly! There are more items we didnt get to try on the menu though, so when we go back I can update this review. But as far as the decor. Its basically smashburger with seafood pictures and ocean decor. Nothing inside has really changed when it comes to design. But doesnt matter. The catfish poorboy was amazing and I love that they do not have heat lamps. This means it's made to order so you're not getting it cold unless a waitress completely ignores your order. Doubt that would happen tho. They're pretty Johnny on the spot when it comes to service. Most places in Moore lack customer service. This place isnt most places. It's my top 3 favorite Louisiana style foodie stop. Crawfish pot is still my number one always. Once this place gets fully going. I can see good things. They do need brew with this food type tho! Keep it up. We will be back soon. read more

I've eaten at The Catch several times. I love it! The white fish and fries are my favorite. The fish is so tender and flaky, and the fries are cooked just right! I highly recommend it. I'm hungry for it now! I only wish there were one close to me at Rockwell and Hefner! read more

Food was decent aside from using way too much seasoning on everything. I was not offered any shell crackers or seafood forks for my crab legs so I had to do it all by hand which by the end my hands were hurting from the salt and peppers in the seasoning; also my hands were orange for a couple of days even after repeated hand washings and a shower. It's short-order style so no waiter/waitress and drinks are self-serve yet when you pay they have the audacity to ask for tips. There's just not anything special about this place. The prices are similar to what you'd pay at Red Lobster and quite frankly you'd be better off going there instead. read more

Catfish was perfect, my kids loved the popcorn shrimp, crawfish tacos were good and my husband I split 2lbs of boiled crawfish! For now I'm giving them 3 stars. We went the first week it opened and it was absolute chaos. You had to fight for a table and it was almost down to sitting on the curb outside. I got the crab boil and it was a little over cooked. The staff was friendly and it was decently priced for seafood. Me and the wife returned to The Catch for her birthday. It reminded me of eating fresh seafood back home in Louisiana in our yard. Not the food but the amount of flies in the Restaurant landing on my food. My wife had a poor boy sandwich that was delivered 5 min before the other food. I had the boiled shrimp it was not fresh and was very small that made them hard to peel. I told the waitress when she dropped off my shrimp I had potatoes and corn also, she made a sad sound and walked away. She did return later and did not say a word when she slid it on the table. It will be awhile before we will return. I think we will continue going to the shack and the fish camp for our seafood. read more
