Stood at the order counter for abou4 minutes. The girl at the counter(1girl) she never said ill be with you in a second, hello or kiss my _ _ _. Didn't even look at us. Another customer walked up behind us. She stood there for a couple of minutes when finally another wait staff walked up to the register next to the one we were standing in front off. The person started in on that person's order. I got hopping mad. I took the arm of my friend and said let's get out of here. The other customer thought the girls stocking potato chips was waiting on us. I told her no. She apologized for cutting in before us. I told her she was fine. Its was the fact that by this time I had been there longer than the original estimated time with no acknowledgement from Staff. NONE, not even a look. I said let's go. The area where McAlisters is Located has several good eating establishments. We went to Hide-A-Way and had really good sandwiches. As a Chef, I have no patience bad customer service much less making the case of potato chip bags a higher priority than a customer who drove past all the other restaurants to eat with you. It will be in fact a cold day in Hell before I return to a restaurant that doesnt appreciate my patronage and support. read more

We asked an employee if we could put some tables together because we had a larger group as we always do when we go out together. The employee we asked told us that it would be fine. After we got settled the manager came over and was very rude! We apologized and explained to her that we asked and an employee said it was fine, then she said "did you ask the manager, no, because I'm the manager." She was very rude and disrespectful from the moment she walked over. We were all in shock at how rude someone could be in a service industry from the moment they make contact with a customer! I have never been someone to write a review but I had to after this experience. And she was the manager! We had 12 of us and we were apologizing because we didn't know it wasn't aloud. She spoke to us like we were scum and worthless and the thing was we asked if was ok for the beginning. If we hadn't already paid for our food we would have walked out. You need a new manager! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was really quick (I went at 11 am). I ordered from the pick 2 options and got an Italian sandwich and the pecan berry salad. I'm not the biggest fan of the raspberry vinaigrette that usually comes with the pecan berry salad (it's too thickly sweet for me) so I swapped it for the chili lime vinaigrette. I love the regular sweet tea here but I tried the peach flavor shot today which I regretted because it made the whole drink taste like I was drinking purely peach syrup. read more

The employee was nice, the food was JUST alright. This place isn't worth your money. This establishment not only increased their sandwich prices, they put an additional $1.25 charge on sides that aren't a bag of chips or steamed broccoli. Does anyone legitimately believe that mac and cheese is a "premium side"? (I also wasn't given my receipt which I personally find incredibly irritating.) So now, you have to pay individually for a drink, your sandwich, AND a side if you want something "premium". The U.S. is poorer than ever and you INCREASE prices? I ordered the Mcalister club, cup of chili and sweet tea. They cut the sandwich in four pieces. Seems like the sandwich was a little small. It was tasty. I love their yellow mustard, but I forgot to tell them no mayonnaise . I love their chili. It has a nice spice that hits the back of your throat. Looks like there are no beans, but is chock full of chunky ground beef. It wasn't overly tomatoey flavored. So great! The reason why I go to Mcalister's is for the sweet tea. Whenever we go to New Orleans, we get the sweet tea from Mcalister's. So delicious - freshly brewed and not overly sweet. However, I've visited 2 locations in OKC. The sweet tea is not as flavorful as the one in Harrah's New Orleans. Tasted watery. I was pretty disappointed. The restaurant itself was clean. Food arrived pretty quickly. I had the Italian sandwich from a delivered work sandwich platter today and the meat was rubbery, way too much oil so the bread on top was mushy, and the lettuce was wilty. The tomatoes and bread (that wasn't soaked) were good and fresh but I'll pass. Lastly, the sandwich was so sloppy when assembled. today July 3 at 1:15 PM my husband and I placed an order at McAllister's. The person taking the order a young lady in her mid 20s was exceptionally rude and condescending. When asked to speak to her manager, the manager backed up her rudeness and so did the manager above them. This is unacceptable. This started over my husband, asking for club soda or seltzer water. The young lady taking the order stated they did not have any. He asked her if she could check. upon finding out, they did have seltzer water. She was very rude and rolled her eyes at him. I usually love McAlister's and I was super excited to get some after a doctor's appointment. However, I was highly disappointed with the experience today. They have a sign up listing the items they are out of, due to supply chain issues, so my boyfriend and I didn't order anything that wasn't available. After receiving my food, I noticed the bread on my 4 cheese melt was not the ciabatta. I asked about it, and was told they were out of that bread. I wasn't offered a substitution when I ordered. So she had the kitchen remake the sandwich on a bread of my choosing. At this point, I thought everything was fine, but then I broke out in an allergic reaction. I had asked for no tomato on it, but apparently the kitchen forgot, and then just took the tomato off before giving it to me. Came to eat lunch with my daughter. I had the pick 2 which was a half angus steak and cheddar club and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. I also ordered a side of caesar salad. My daughter had a full steak panini with provolone instead of cheddar and it came with caramelized onions but she didnt it on there. Her side she chose was a caesar side salad. It came out pretty fast. It all looked good and even though my sandwich tasted ok, I think next time I will order what my daughter got and leave the onions on mine. After a BAD experience at The Garage burger resteraunt(we waited 30 + minutes and not once did someone come by to take our order), we looked for something close by. We GPS's to McAllister's Deli. Not only was it wheelchair accessible out in the parking lot, it was easy to navigate inside. We greeted very friendly and although we were unfamiliar the their menu, the cashier was very patient and gracious. Our food came out fast and FRESH, truly fantastic food. We had mac and cheese as a side which was delicious but very small portion. The menu is a little pricey but overall a superb experience. The entire staff were very helpful and very nice. read more

I finally called on this one, the guy that answered wasn't listening to me, I told him what happened, he never figured it out, then hung up on me. I called back and reached Angela the GM. She was rude, short, didn't address the guy hanging up on me, she finally said she'd check the film and they had had a line to the door and were busy. She has no business being a GM. Update: I was contacted by corporate and they apologized for the poor experiences lately. We tried again last week and it was much better. Food was correct temperature and friendlier service. I like McAlister's but this location has poor management lately. A few weeks ago we ate inside. Brought out cold soup, and a burnt sandwich for my husband. My nachos were so cold that the cheese didn't even melt. The server was very polite and took them back to fix it. Brought out a new sandwich and a potato not what he ordered. Finally brought out soup that was so hot it couldn't be eaten. The nachos were okay on the second try, but still not really hot. Tonight I picked up a to go order and politely let them know the rug was tripping everyone at the door(it had big waves in it that people's feet were getting caught in), the girl behind the counter wouldn't even look at me and said mmm-hokay. Like we know, we don't care. Where are the adults? Letting it be run by teenagers with attitude is a major problem and we will be going to another location for awhile. read more

I actually enjoyed the experience of dining in at this sit down deli restaurant. The rolls were very fresh & soft and the meat was also very delicious. We also ordered a side of Mac & cheese which was very creamy & good flavor. My wife ordered our supper tonight online for delivery, and the order was incorrect. She called the store to notify them, and they said that she could drive over and pickup the correct items. This is not the first time it has happened. If you order online and pay to have it delivered, 3 out of 4 times we have either had to drive across town and get the correct ordered items or go with whatever they have dropped off.
