My husband and I stopped here on the way to our hotel for a cover tournament. The facility was very clean, tables spaced out perfectly and staff with face masks. The food was AMAZING. I'm not usually in the Malvern, PA area, but when I tried this establishment's food, I was there for work purposes. I had the lamb gyro sandwich and the baklava. I have to say that the lamb gyro sandwich was one of the better gyro sandwiches I have had in such a long time. It was yummy and most of the ingredients tasted quite fresh. The sauce also had all the right spices. The meat was truly succulent. On the other hand, the pistachio baklava was a bit of a letdown. It was really dry compared to the other baklava I have had in my life. It was also very crumbly, whereas the other baklava I have had was flaky and did not just crumble apart to pieces. I would not recommend the baklava, but the lamb gyro sandwich is an excellent choice. read more

Damas may be a relatively new restaurant, but it's already established itself as a neighborhood favorite. It seems most of the business comes from takeout orders, so the restaurant isn't always crowded, but while waiting for our order, several groups will come in and out to pick up their food. I've already been there several times because of the convenience and quality of the food. I'll usually opt for the chicken kebab or chicken shawarma entree. The chicken is always flavorful and cooked just right. The employees are always super nice, too. It can take a little while for the food to be ready, but that's only because everything is prepared fresh. I'd recommend calling in your order to cut down on the wait. read more

Hidden gem serving amazing food. This place is simply amazing and a hidden gem. I had stopped there for lunch one day with a friend and had the chicken shawarma and loved it so went back with my husband to order food for my daughter's 18th bday celebration on 1/11/2020 with family and it was the best decision we made. We ordered for about 13 people from their catering menu- Chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, greek salad, hummus,mohamarra, tzatizki, rice, pita, grilled veggies and everybody enjoyed the food. Everything was terrific but the chicken kebabs and mohamarra were to die for. When my husband went to pick up the food he ordered some falafels as we found out one my nieces stopped eating meat so they just threw a plate of falafels and fries for the kids in without charging us. The baba is spectacular and the grape leaves were great. My wife had a kafta platter and she raved about the grilled veg that came with. I had lamb schwarma and it was delightful.
