I think I found my new favorite fast casual food spot. I built my own bowl with greens, lentils, grilled chicken, onion, cucumber, feta, roasted corn, and tzatziki, with a little extra feta dressing on the side, and it was so good. Everything tasted super fresh, and the lentils were a nice hearty base without being too heavy. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the combo of the tzatziki and feta dressing together is next-level. The staff was friendly and quick even though it was busy, and the portions were generous. It's one of those meals that feels healthy but still really satisfying. I've been to this one and Newtown Square - this Cava location is the best in the area. A big part of that is the incredible staff.. especially Autumn and Michelle. They always have great service and are always welcoming and friendly - even when I sometimes come in before closing. Their positive energy makes my day/night! Cava is a great option for a quick and healthy meal! We tried Cava for the first time on a recent Sunday afternoon for lunch. We ordered at the counter, but my friends have had good experiences with their online ordering as well. They offer a variety of pre-designed bowls or pitas, or you can opt to create your own combination. Because I was overwhelmed by the options, I wound up selecting their suggested Lentil Avocado bowl, which was jam-packed with falafel, greens, roasted vegetables, pickled onions, avocado, and lentils with two delicious sauces (skhug and garlic sauce). My bowl was incredibly flavorful, well balanced, and extremely filling, and my accompanying pita was the perfect, soft, pillowy texture. A delicious meal that I would absolutely order again. My fiance ordered the Harissa Chicken bowl and also spoke very highly of it, and a friend raved about her CYO bowl with saffron rice, greens, chicken, and roasted sweet potatoes served with a dill sauce. read more

Stopped in today for Glen Mills Community day ! They placed an event on eventbrite to get the people out and I was one of them. They were definitely buzzin, but not in a busy and packed way. It was nice and the line was moving without it feeling like a nuisance. This was the first open and they didn't have the menu up but you could choose between a bowl or a pita. I settled on the bowl with arugula and a blend of veggies called super greens (it had kale, Brussel sprouts, cabbage so yum) with brown rice and grilled chicken. They have so many other choices though you could really go wild ! The toppings were plentiful as well: I got corn, tomatoes, cabbage slaw, lentils, feta and they top it with up to 3 dips (which you can get a free side of pita with) and your choice of dressing. I settled on the lemon tahini and was not disappointed. For community day the meal was free also they allow you a small drink. There were teas, lemonades and specialty drinks a la Panera but these were MUCH better. If you're in the area or have a CAVA nearby that you haven't tried, TRY IT. I've tried this location out several times now and it's the worst one I've been to. I really like Cava in general. The food is usually fresh, tasty, and at a good price point. As for this location, each time I go the service is lack luster and the workers seem like they don't want to be asked questions about the menu and rush you through making the order. On the food, as other reviewers have mentioned, the portions they give are imbalanced. One of their gimmicks is that you get "unlimited toppings" . But today I ordered 3 bowls for my husband, son and I, and in all of the bowls they gave maybe one teaspoon or less of the toppings. In mine I was supposed to have broccoli and cabbage slaw, for e.g, and there was a single tiny piece of broccoli, and 2 pieces of cabbage. I ordered the dips (you get 3 options) , and they gave me not one of them. The sauce drizzle was nonexistent. It was just a really dry bowl of rice and meat. They also give a laughable amount of rice. When I order 3 meals on the app, they also typically neglect to include at least 2 items. Today, I got no sauce or dips, no utensils, no hummus in my son's bowl (his fav part) and no drink which I was to get as a reward. Also some items in the bowl were obviously stale such as the rice, though others were fresh. But it should all be fresh. Just disappointing. Will just stick to basic Chipotle in the same shopping center, which is nothing exciting but they're at least more consistent and serve the food in a way that makes sense. read more

My daughter and I were some of the lucky ones that got to try CAVA out free of charge the day before their grand opening (I'm not sure how she found out about it, but I'm glad she shared the EventBrite invite with me!) Since they weren't open yet, they didn't have their menu posted but we had looked at it online before we went so we both just ordered the Harissa Avocado Bowls (SuperGreens, Basmati Rice, Crazy Feta, Hummus, Harissa Honey Chicken, Fire-Roasted Corn, Avocado, Pickled Onions, Cucumber, and Feta with Hot Harissa Vinaigrette). We both loved it! I liked that it took the guesswork out of trying to decide which of the numerous fabulous-sounding ingredients would go together. I would have liked to have had a "curated" choice for the meatballs but I will just come up with my own combination next time I go. My toddler grandsons were with us so we also got a couple of nice kids meals which they enjoyed. The pita chips were a bit too peppery for them though. Overall, it was a great meal and we are looking forward to going again. read more

Wanted to love this place, but I placed an order at a time I didn't think it would be busy 11am, it said the order would be ready by 11:15. I arrive at the place, it is completely empty except one other group already eating. Waited and waited and it was finally done at 11:40, very weird considering I was the only one there and only ordered 3 simple pitas (one child's entree). Out of the three, my daughter's food was the best, the 2 adult pitas, the bread was soggy and not cooked and it was a mess to eat. The spicy lamb wasn't cooked and was bright red inside and I had to heat it up in the microwave. Surprising, b/c if it wasn't the meat taking so long to cook, what could it have been? I think I'll give it one more chance before giving up. read more

Poor portion control and rude workers. I was given about half of the normal amount of rice and lettuce I get at other Cavas. Then I saw other people with full bowls! When I spoke to the manager about it they dismissed my concern and told me "no one else was complaining." Very poor customer service and not nice people. read more

I am a huge CaVa fan and that's why me and my husband were thrilled to see a Cava that finally opened close by our place. This evening when we drove by to grab a bite, the lady server who was taking our orders was pretty rude and she wasn't even caring to ask what do I want instead she asked me to read the sauce off the written chart, where all the sauces and salad options were empty and they were refilling as we were ordering with the grunts, and low grumbling noises. So just a heads up people if you really want friendly faces and smiling charm this place isn't it and I am hoping the food that we got comes out well. As they served the lowest packed pita chips along with it. Come on people if you are buying a franchise like CaVa do justice to the brand services and make people happy while serving their food. People don't want to be paying money for their food were they are being scorned and grunted about the way they order. read more

Giving one star bc you have to give at least one. Stopped in with my girlfriends one night bc of great reviews and lots of good looking TIK tok videos. We had a less than good visit. Dude working was miserable and unhelpful, being it was our first time eating at a CAVA ever. He also barely put any food in the bowl! All bowls I have seen are overflowing! The pita chips were raw! Asked them for a well done batch and they were barely warm! I never write reviews but I felt this visit warranted one. I am honestly OBSESSED with Cava. I go there multiple times a week for lunch but today I came in late night for dinner. Stacy was absolutely INCREDIBLE. I got the falafel bowl. It was very fresh, had lots of vegetables, and the flavors were great. The falafel was probably the best I've had. My only complaint is that the total portion was huge, but there were only 2 falafels in the bowl, each only one inch in diameter. read more
