We decided to branch out from our usual Indian restaurant and try something new. Picked up takeout from here and I couldn't even finish eating my small plate of food. We ordered onion kulcha (very dry) and vegetable samosa. I'm not sure what herb they use in these, but it tasted like eating perfume. For mains we ordered malai kofta, Chicken Shahi Korma, and Saagwala chicken. The sauce of the malai kofta was good, but the balls were so dry. The chicken used in both dishes was thigh meat. Every single bite was full of fat. I tried to eat a few pieces and gave up. We ordered medium spice for the chicken dishes and it tasted like there was barely any spice. Portions were very small. Super disappointed with this meal. Will not order from here again. read more

We got this food for a to-go order therefore we didn't eat inside but this location on the outside looks gorgeous with some outdoor seating as well. read more

I went to this place for lunch last Friday with a friend. I had been in the mood for Shrimp Korma. However, the only Korma on the menu was chicken. I asked if I could have a different protein and was told there were no substitutions. I ordered the Chicken Korma. The good news is that it was delicious! The bad news is that it was $18.99. The bill came to a little over $20 with tax. When you add a 20% tip my lunch was $24.15. All I had was Chicken Korma and a glass of water. Also, aside from the glass of water there was nothing else offered. My personal opinion is if they want to build their lunch business they need a smaller & lower priced lunch menu - maybe offer a lunch special of 10 main courses to choose from, a bowl of rice, a basket of papad with a trio of condiments, and a drink (maybe some masala tea or a soft drink), or a buffet. If you would like to go for lunch with a friend I suggest you split a main course and order samosas, (2 for $6.99), which my friend said were very good or maybe the garlic naan for $4.99. That will get you a nice lunch for $16.36 or $15.10, each, which includes a 20% tip. Restaurants need to realize a few things. - Baby Boomers like going out to lunch. - Many of us have cataracts and can't see well at night. - We don't eat as much as we did when we were young. -Many of us live on fixed incomes. - Given the choice of going out more often and spending less, (having no leftovers), or taking home half an expensive meal to eat for dinner and going out less often, I think many of us would choose the former. Conclusion: The food is fantastic. The ambiance is okay. The service is okay - it is not typical friendly Indian hospitality. Accessibility: My friend is handicapped, and, although I looked, I did not see a ramp or a handicap space nearby. The curbs are high and the prices seem a bit high as well. Would I go back? I would but I'd employ the tactics I suggested above: Go with friends, order half as many entrees as people, and get a selection of appetizers, naan, and desserts. This will give you plenty of food and a more enjoyable, affordable, and lengthier dining experience. read more

Fantastic food, service and value. Started with the Egg Bonda because the description said "Hard-boiled eggs smeared with a spicy chickpea batter and deep fried till crispy and awesome." Nowhere else on the menu is a subjective statement like that so I had to try. And it did not disappoint. The coating was light and tasty and the egg was not over or under done. The smell was delectable. You can make a mean out of this alone, there were a half dozen eggs. My main meal was the Lamb Nawabi. Did not know what Nawabi was so Mr Google told me: "also known as Awadhi cuisine, is famous for its rich, aromatic, and subtly spiced dishes." It came out with a good sized portion, nice tender chunks of lamb, in creamy sauce full of spices. I asked for medium and it did not burn, it was delicious and I got to take some home. We had brought a bottle of wine as it is BYOB and our server was incredibly nice and helpful. Will be back. read more

The food was delicious! We came to dine in on a weekday evening, so there wasn't a lot of foot traffic. However, the kitchen was plenty busy with the amount of takeout they needed to make. Service was prompt and one of the co-owners even stopped by a few times to check on us, which we appreciated. We ordered lamb rogan josh, chicken curry, garlic & plain naan, and shrimp tandoori. I was really happy to have a glass of mango lassi nearby, especially when the capsaicin started kicking in. Everything came out steaming hot! And the spicy level was well balanced. We love spicy foods, but can't consume super spicy levels anymore for health reasons. I'm glad the server asked what spice level we wanted, and that we went with the mid-level spice. The only thing I'd do differently next time is to request less salt be used in our dishes. There was plenty of food left over to take home with us. I have to say these guys have just stayed on point. There is nothing that I don't like here - the only minor nit is that they might do something to give the dining room a little bit more flair, but in the grand scheme of things, they excel where it matters - food and service. As I've noticed previously, you're going to pay a bit more and get a little little less in terms of quantity as compared to your run of the mill, Indian restaurant. *Indoor dining review* This restaurant has been opened for only 1 year+, there are definitely some minor issues in terms of service, but the food is simply cooked with love and care. During our first visit we were a little busy so we did not get the chance to try indoor dining, but after we tried the food, I said to my girlfriend we HAVE to go back and see how the restaurant and service is. We were told right as we sat down that they were busier than usual due to the local concert nearby, so our food will take a bit longer to come out, which is fine because we've tasted their food and it is well worth the wait. The issue(s) we had was that 1 - we have one too many waiter/waitresses stopping by our table to take orders, and there was clearly some confusion, because the papadum (Which happens to be my girlfriend's favorite) we ordered never arrived, even after we informed 2 waitresses, 1 waiter and 1 food runner after we already got our entrees. ~Food~ What we ordered/received: -Gobi Manchurian (It is so good, we ordered it twice during both visits) -Veg Biryani (Good. But a little bit on the spicy side, even when asked for mild) -Paneer Tikka Masala (Very delicious, put this over some rice or Naan, and you will wish you had more room in your stomach) -Chicken Tandoori (Very fresh and it comes sizzling out of the kitchen, tasty and tender) Overall this restaurant is an Excellent choice for anyone nearby and are looking for authentic Indian food. Stopped in here for a lunch with my favorite dining partner. It did not disappoint. We started with the potato samosas. Nicely spiced, flaky dough and served with two chutneys- mint and tamarind. We followed this with some tandoor chicken and chicken biryani. Bothe were ordered mild. The tandoor chicken was very mild. The biryani carried some heat. Both entrees were enough for two people and definitely items we would order next time. For dessert we shared the gulag jamun, sweet cheese dumplings in syrup. Came here again tonight and had another wonderful experience. The restaurant atmosphere is casual, and the dining area is very clean and bright. The staff sat us immediately and brought water and menus. Since this was the first time for some of my friends our server graciously went through the menu and made some wonderful recommendations for both newbies and those that have visited before. Our food started coming out 5-10 minutes after we ordered, was served hot, and was brought it out in courses. Also, Trhey do not have a bar but it is BYOB. Restaurant was spacious, very clean, and everyone working there was polite and attentive. We love a variety so ordered quite a bit and must say everything was amazing! Ordered: Samosa, Veg Pakora, Murg Malai Kabob, Paneer Butter Masala, Daal Makhani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Raita. Everything was so good!! This is a brand new Indian restaurant. The menu listed as "soft opening". They've been open only for 9 days so there are some things that they need to streamline etc. Menu is relatively small ( no lamb or fish on it) but according to the owners it would be 70 dishes by mid April or so. Place is quite spacious, the owners (?3 partners) are there now serving and greeting. Very friendly, polite. Space is spacious, clean, soft Indian music playing. A little bit bare but they are working on it. Everything we ordered was very fresh & tasty. Samosas maybe not the best I tried but fairly good. We ordered a vegetarian dish at the recommendation of one of the owners "DIWANI HANDI Medley of lightly roasted mix vegetables simmered in spinach puree and spices" that I thought was very good and I have never tried before. I am glad that there is a new Indian restaurant close by and I wish them success. Looking forward to an expanded menu and will be coming again! Give it a go! read more

Tried this restaurant based on reviews and the pictures looked awesome. I am happy to report that it didn't disappoint!! Our waiter was so kind and courteous with a smile on his face throughout. He was great! The food was awesome. I got butter chicken, my sister got chicken tikka masala, and my brother got a noodle schezuan meal. All were delicious, as was the chili chicken appetizer! The garlic naan was great for dipping into my sauce as well. The price points were standard for the portion. The restaurant was light and welcoming. I would definitely recommend.
