In addition to those three ingredients making it in edible when I complained was kind of lucky the hamburger patty had not been contaminated but for no reason they threw away the bottom bun which was Okay,. And replaced it with a new bun which was not prepared as well and didn't have that nice but edge to it. Worse there was almost no onions. Just a bunch of lettuce. And the exact same bacon they had taken off that had been contaminated with ketchup and possibly not mayo. I was able to tell this because there were bits of ketchup on the bun which was brand new as he hadn't fully cleaned the bacon and it brought back the exact same patty which would've been OK if the patty was OK but it wasn't made it through about a third of the burger to 2/3 and after checking just the patio alone, the meat tasted a little bit off or Old meaning he was using good ingredients to hide bad meat with the ketchup pickles and all the other stuff that I had them take off, which is why it had tasted funny had to give up and put it in the cat bowl for the raccoons Christmas dinner outside hopefully the little guy will be able to eat it for the possum as the possums will eat bad meat as for the French fries they were actually very good somewhere between chips and fries but they were hollow which normally isn't bad. It's just up to personal taste. They were kind of the best thing in the whole place because their hollow they're kind of unique very tasty very good but you need a lot of them as far as if you want a substantial order of fries because a lot of what you're getting is air like when you get chips, there's a nice outer shell but nothing but air inside were normal you would find potato. Sadly the bacon was very good very high-quality prepared to perfection except for one spot that was completely raw that I had to snap off due to the risk of trichinosis. I'd always check the bacon in this place otherwise you might actually buy it into a piece of raw bacon Still attached to the perfectly cooked one. I have no idea how they managed to cook it that way sadly it was a hugely disappointing and frustrating experience in the end as even when you gave them a chance to fix it they didn't make the burger over again and they didn't even fix it properly because it felt like no matter how hard you try nobody is gonna listen to you when you order something and if you want them to take anything off don't count on it. It will probably show up anyway and trigger any allergies you may have. Sadly, withl borderline meet some places do a good job with spices and charbroiling but this place had none of that so you could really taste the meat and it did not taste fresh. It just tasted a little off. Very disappointing. The waitresses were attractive the atmosphere of the Physical place was good but the karaoke singers kinda kill the music. It's best to go there on a night and not karaoke. The place seems OK at the bar but as a restaurant, forget it.

If you're looking for good food and good service - this is the place. We were driving by at 2:40pm, well after the lunch rush, and noticed the parking lot still had a good number of cars. This is a good sign, I thought. So we pulled in to give it a try. We were imediately greeted and seated. Even after a busy lunch rush, our waitress was friendly and helpful. She recognized we were first timers and was very patient as we read over the menu. She knew the menu inside and out and made recommendations. My wife ordered the catfish and I had a country breakfast skillet. Her recommendations were spot on. The catfish was outstanding. Light, crispy batter, maybe the best I can remember, ever. Highly recommended. The breakfast skillet was made to perfection in a generous, man sized portion. If you're like us, and tired of franchised, oversized and industrialized... this little eatery is a perfect example why we need more locally owned, family operated restaurants. My conclusion... it's a unique place with excellent food and outstanding service. I give 'em two thumbs up. read more

Amazing breakfast! My son loves chicken fried steak and he approved!! My daughter is a chicken and waffles fan and the Tx shape waffle didn't disappoint!! Service was outstanding and very clean!! We have had breakfast here twice now and it was excellent ! So glad to having something like this in Rowlett. Service very friendly also. They do get busy so if you go at a prime time there could be a wait but it's worth it. The banana strawberry pancakes are the best. Old fashioned hash browns are perfect. read more

We live in McKinney but attend church at Citc with my brother and family. We have to rush through the parking lot after church before every seat fills up. We enjoy the 50s atmosphere music and the best omelets and chicken fried steak. Enjoy much more then ihop. I cannot wait to be able to dine in again. read more

I eat here often. Never had a disappointing meal or bad service. They make my hash browns extra crispy when I ask. Have never had to ask for coffee refill as it seems to magically appear. I've stopped there for pie too, and picked up whole Coconut Cream pies to take to events. Live this place. read more
