When I'm in the mood for Greek, Opa always delivers! I always order the Theo platter, and the portions are so huge I can only eat half. The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. I absolutely love the red hummus! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The building itself looks a bit run down, which I assume is more on the landlord than the restaurant--it could use some basic upkeep. That said, it's not fancy, and that's actually a plus for me. You can just come in, get great food and service, and not feel like anyone's putting on a show. read more

We've dined here a couple times with clients and recently ordered lunch delivery. We were astonished to find the audacity of this place to charge 30-40% higher than their menu price + delivery fees + service fees + tips. It is clear Opa is just attempting to rip off customers every way it can with their reheated sysco food. It's one thing to charge a delivery fee and a tip but 30-40% mark up as well is disgusting. Glad to see all their HVAC's died which they are begging for free "donations" for. It's clearly well deserved karma for them due to them from ripping off their customers. Food quality wise its very average food. Nothing great but not inedible and about as expected for a low end small town. Portions are extremely small and not worth it even for the regular menu prices - this is coming from some small guys and girls. I'd skip this place and order from somewhere that doesnt mark up menu prices for delivery and thats giving better value for dollar on portion sizes of proteins. read more

First we received our order in a timely fashion. Ordered Dolmades w/ xtra sauce. NO SAUCE AT ALL. Call restaurants to let them know. Guy on phone was pleasant and wanted to refund us the Dolmades but we ordered through UE. Then our granddaughter tried her partitsio and it was almost cold. Not room temp.. below room temp! Food is great. We order out from here at least twice a month. Eating in is rare. I am knocking off 1 star because we tried to dine in last night, Saturday May 9th. Hours on their website, here on yelp, and on their door state that they are open until 10:30pm on Saturdays. We walked in at about 9:45 and were denied service and told that they close at 10. I pointed out that 10:30 was advertised everywhere. The response I got was "we close at 10". Please change your hours on the door, website and everywhere else if you decided to change your hours. In these times where food is SKY HIGH, yall have the AUDACITY to send our food , one specifically that says a LARGE and it is in fact a kids meal size. DO BETTER! I ordered a LARGE chicken Alfredo, it came in one of those containers separated in 3. 2 small individual sections and a medium size section. Their "LARGE" was the medium section. Pointed here by Yelp for late lunch/early dinner. We were seated immediately and given great service. Staff was playing great alt'esque rock music while we dined. The decor was kinda Greek tacky in a themed way. The star of our late lunch was the fried zucchini and the dipping sauce. Husband's Greek salad was mounded over in a sharable portion with a tangy dressing and a good sprinkling of Feta. Both chicken & shrimp souvlaki had a nice char and flavorful buttery lemon flavor. Shrimp souvlaki had a feta tomato dipping sauce that perfectly complimented the shrimp. Green beans were fantastic with a rich tomato sauce. Food was good, lamb shanks were under cooked though. Food was 2 1/2 stars. Cute and clean interior and restrooms. Service by Michelle was outstanding! Attentive and timely she even escorted my elderly mom to the restroom because I would've had to, during the middle of our meal. Great service and a beyond kind person. Ordered to go online. Was easy and order was ready on time. My gripes will be few. Service was okay, but they forgot plastic wear for the order. Glad I checked ahead of time since we were planning to eat on the go. Lunch gyro was packaged messy, but it did have a good bit of meat. Souv plate has good flavor. Falafel were soft which I liked. The tzaziki was chunky and made me a bit concerned about it's freshness. The pita side order is cut into the smallest pieces as if they are pita chips. I don't prefer this especially when I'm trying to wrap chicken kabob in it. Not sure if I'll be back but their menu has all the items you would want in a Greek restaurant. read more

I went here with a friend for lunch. The food took a while to come but it was good. We got Greek boneless wings as an appetizer and I really liked it, it's different from buffalo wings on anything we are used to. We also got stuffed grape leaves and it was really good. The lamb chops were done to perfection ruin, juicy and not dry. They do have this one dish I think mixed meat where they light it on fire and the waiter says "opaaa" when she does so it's cool to see. My friend got grilled shrimp, it was good/decent. The side veggies, mainly beans, provided with both dishes was too bland for us. We came as soon as they opened at 12 on a Thursday and it filled up quickly. This place has amazing food. The service and ambiance was perfect for a late afternoon lunch. Service was spot on - no complaints and not overbearing. Dining area was spotless and they provide nice background of music and TV with good sport if golf. I had the roasted broccolini with feta fries and skewered chicken with a good white wine. The jalapeños packed not real heat, I've learned to expect that with fresh ones, heat varies, maybe next time. The Greek potatoes were crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, and well seasoned. Went there with my father (we're 100% Greek and can be tough critics) and were NOT disappointed! From food, to service, it was all on point. I had the lamb chops, my dad the lamb shank, both were full of flavor, the risotto seasoned nicely, and a Fix beer straight from Greece was the icing on the cake. Not to mention, the men's restroom automatic towel dispenser dispensed a nice long piece! How often is that the case? Every other place spits out 6 inches, how are we supposed to dry our hands with 6 inches of paper? Kudos to them for not being cheap on the free towel! Kostas the owner ended up coming to our table and we spoke a bit about his Grandmother in Greece who showed him how to make these authentic dishes, as well as how he got his start. The plate was filling so much so I don't believe my photo will do it justice. However, everything was cooked to perfection. The lamb fell off the bone and was flavorful. This was the first time I had orzo pasta and it is light and a nice side in comparison to the green beans. It is not like any other pasta and now I'm definitely a fan which may be dangerous! I gave it such a high rating because the cohesiveness of the plate! Who doesn't love cheese & pita! They do sprinkle some lemon after setting a small flame to really cook it all together and are generous with the pita but enjoyed it all around. We've lived in the area for 10+ years, but this was our first visit to this restaurant. I had the Original Gyro and my wife had the Lentil Soup. My Gyro had PLENTY of meat, which was very tender, but honestly a little bland. Otherwise, the pita was excellent as was the tzatziki. My wife said the Lentil Soup was a little over salted, but otherwise, satisfactory. Though this was a takeaway order, the short wait for the order to be prepared revealed a clean, quiet restaurant with a pleasant ambience. Holy moly just yes to everything. Cute little unassuming place in a shopping strip. I *think* this might be a small chain but it is absolutely delicious. We got the app with three dips - tzatziki, hummus, and fire feta. The fire feta kind of tasted like a much better pimiento cheese. The village salad was fresh with lots of chunky veggies and feta. The Greek dressing is to die for - and you're in luck, they bottle that liquid gold and sell it!! We loved that the menu was like a small book filled with pictures of many items. Always great to see what you're ordering, especially if you're unfamiliar with this type of cuisine. The portions are huge and definitely worth sharing. They also have some great vegetarian options. The food is still very good. I always order the same thing . Original gyro with fire feta and green beans for my side. I usually get the lentils soup. This time everything was good but the soup is often inconsistent. Some times it is really good sometimes not so much. I love, loved the pita and the gyro. My only disappointment is that the staff were not All wearing masks. They weren't wearing them in the back because they would take them off and put them back on when they walked out. There was also some woman sitting in the dining room not dressed like she was working who went in the kitchen also no mask. This is the only reason I won't be back.
