I wanted to grab some food on my way back from a massage and decided to stop by Twisted Root Burger…read moreCo. Parking was easy--there's a public lot behind the restaurant, plus a few spots out front and along the side of the building. It wasn't very busy when I arrived, which made for a relaxed visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Triston took my order and did a great job, and another employee (I didn't catch his name) walked me through the menu and offered suggestions, which I appreciated. I kept it simple and ordered the "All American" burger with a side house salad. My food came out quickly and was nice and hot. I also liked that they had a variety of housemade and regular condiments available, plus a pickle bar in the corner--which is a fun touch. The side salad was anything but basic. It was fresh, colorful, and vibrant--definitely a win if you're a visual eater like me. The balsamic vinaigrette paired well with it too. As for the burger, it was solid. I liked that they serve the veggie toppings on the side so you can customize it exactly how you want. Just a heads up: burgers are cooked medium by default unless you specify otherwise. Overall, everything tasted great, but the portion was pretty filling--I only made it through about half of my burger. Prices were reasonable as well: $11.50 for my burger and $4.50 for my side salad. I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu!

Make no mistake, this place is no-frills dive pool hall with a small bar, late night grill for tacos and quesadillas, very popular jukebox, loud speaker system, and a 10x10 dance floor that gets packed in the late hours. Inside is dark and quirky with plastic tropical plants, mirrors, tvs playing mostly soccer from around the world, and various bench seating arrangements. The bar was limited - so don't expect Tito's, copper goblets or anything but tequila and beer options. The ladies room lacked hand soap. There were no lines and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly. We hope to come back again!

You can go anywhere and find a Pocketed pool table but it's rare to find carom tables so I'm happy they do have that so people who do play can enjoy that. The place is alcohol and smoke free so that's another really big plus for me. I hate going out to play pool and there's drunk people running around and the whole place just smells like ash. I'm trying to play pool, not go to the club. The tables were nice, big full size tournament tables and they have a ball return into a rack so that was pretty dope. The felt felt really really fast. Barely any power and the cue ball was flying Only reason this place is not 5 stars is that it's kinda pricey. It's 17 an hour. Although it is a little pricey, I can see myself definitely coming in more often. The ambiance is very good. No drunk people, no ash, no club music. Just pool.

The people willing to pay those prices are new to the US or never learned English.
