Finally made it in! In summary I loved everything. The ambience, the service, the latte, the breakfast burrito. The burrito is big enough to share or make two meals out of. Order at the counter, get a number, grab a carafe of water, seat yourself, and they bring your order out to you. For the first hour they're opened, only burritos and drink options. Full menu opens after that. Will definitely be back!
I've been meaning to try Daisy bar and finally got the chance, I was able to sit at the bar and enjoy a kimchi mezcal Bloody Mary and some delicious Birria dumplings! Michelle was great, and I loved checked out the decor! I'll definitely be back to check out the brunch and lunch menu!
Daisy bar is one of those places I've been meaning to go for a while, and now that I have, I won't want to go anywhere else. The welcoming, open space is in the factory arts district, so you can make a whole day of it - go to MVMT house for a workout, get lunch at Daisy Bar, and do some shopping at Salt & Ash. I went for brunch during the week and wanted to get some work done, so posted up at the bar with a vanilla latte (amazing) and ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon added (phenomenal). Bar service was excellent and I'm at an age where I appreciated that the barstools had backs to them. Ordinarily, you can grab a menu to peruse, find a seat, and then order at the counter when you're ready (and linger as you please, returning to the counter when you're ready to close out), but bar seating was full service. Can't wait to try the dinner menu and a cocktail at a future visit!
The food is really good with some pretty unique ingredients and flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed the Veggie Breakfast Burrito with what seemed like a homemade, spicy red salsa as well as broccoli, feta, red bell peppers and crispy home fries (inside the burrito). The Fried Egg sandwich comes with pickled onions, crunchy sunflower seeds, avocado and a great value for a hearty meal in the heart of downtown adjacent to the BottleWorks District. The decor is adorable! There is also a casual, cute bar and great drink selections! Self service approach (after you order, they drop the food off at your table but they have water, utensils & napkins available for you--Kind of like Flower Child in Nora). Definitely hipster vibes. Plenty of open spaces to fill across from Center Point Brewing. LOTs of construction going on in the surrounding building at the up and coming Factory Arts District. Didn't seem to stop people from working there remotely though. It was nice to go on a Monday afternoon while there was plenty of parking in the lot although there is street parking nearby as well.
Wow! Wow! Wow! This place was truly amazing!! I loved the interior, it has such a fun vibe. They have indoor and outdoor seating which I loved. You walk up to the counter to order and will be given a number to set at your table while you wait for them to prepare your order. I ordered the chopped cheese and it was absolutely amazing. I will be thinking about these flavors for a while. The fries were equally as delicious!! They have a lot of fun options for coffees and cocktails. I tried one of the cocktails that was on special for the weekend. We will definitely be back!!
Came for lunch to celebrate my bday and start my marathon carb loading. I went with an option that wouldn't mess up my stomach, turkey sandwich, nothing crazy. It was good. The bread was toasted but not tough. The flavor was great and the chips were delicious. Great location and love the outdoor seating.
Everyone who raves about Daisy Bar is 100% true - it's INSANELY GOOD! Top 3 burger in the city - don't @ me. I came in solo on a Wednesday night around 6 and honestly it was way busier than I anticipated. Service was still quick and the food was so fresh. All the previous reviews I saw mentioned counter service, but for dinner, its table service. The fries were crispy and the burger was juicy and stacked perfectly. Whatever they're doin, they're doin it right.
We stopped at Daisy Bar yesterday during First Friday at the Factory Arts District. This had been on my list for a while to try. This place was also recommended to us by a friend. They were pretty busy when we got there and had no open seats on the patio as it was a pretty day in Indy. We were fine with the interior seats. We were seated and within 5 minutes our waiter was at the table to explain things and get our cocktail order. We asked about the cocktails and he explained the flavor profile on the two we were asking about and he was spot on. We did enjoy the cocktails. I ordered the Frooty Buffalo and my friend ordered the Prickly in Pink cocktail. Mine was a little more tropical and hers was a little more citrus forward and that was what we were looking for. Our waiter explained the menu to us as one side has small plates and the other side is more of a full meal. We placed our order, I ordered the off menu Cauliflower dish and my friend ordered the Charred Broccolini Caesar and the Robuchon Potatoes. My cauliflower dish also came with a side of sticky coconut rice. The cauliflower dish had an Indian spice and sauce it was a bit too spicy for me although the flavors were excellent. I tried my friends charred broccolini and it was really good as well. These dishes came out to us really quickly I was pleased with the service level. The best thing that I ate though were the two side dishes, the Robichon potatoes were so smooth and creamy and delicious and I usually don't like creamy potatoes I usually like lumpy potatoes and the sticky coconut rice I will be eating for lunch today as I had a little bit of it leftover. We both ordered the Mille Fuille for dessert and we both agreed that that dessert was a miss. It was way too dry. Next time we will try Cookie n Milk. We will stop in here again and try different dishes next time.
Had the broccolini the other day and I keep thinking about it! It was so good I could've eaten a full plate of it for my entire meal. Service was great and everything else was wonderful as well. I love this spot.
Definitely one of the top five meals I've had in Indy. We came in on a Saturday night around 6:30, and were sat right away, outside at that on a beautiful sunny day. Our server was on top of it throughout the night. My only qualm with the outdoor area is the booth we were at is a two top, and there is a four top about two feet away- we could hear all the conversations down to the word next to us, and most likely vice versa. We started off with the pimento cheese. The bread was crispy, and the kimchi on top tasted authentic. We then transitioned to the birria mandu- the sauce was a little salty which I liked, and the mandu was flavored. I appreciated the pickled onions with it. We then got asparagus- probably our least favorite part of the meal. The asparagus was crunchy, the sauce was a nice touch, but the price for what we got seemed a little excessive. We split a burger and half chicken for our mains. Probably my favorite burger in all of Indy. The half chicken breading was thick, the sauce was sweet, and the mashed potatoes it came with were creamy. I could do without the broccolini on top- I didn't see how it goes with the vibe of the rest of the meal. I had an Oaxacan daiquiri as well. It was strong but not particularly overpowering. Would probably try something else when we return. Overall, the ambience was nice, service was quick, and the food was fantastic. We can't wait to return.
We ordered takeout for lunch and this was one of the besttt burgers I have ever had in Indy. My friend advised me to skip this spread and ask for it on the side because it has a little spice to it but she loves it! I would definitely recommend omitting the spread if you're sensitive to spice like me. The fries were so tasty as well! Truly one of the best burgers in the Indy area, if not the best. I am excited to return and eat inside one day to see the vibe and their space! The patio looks like the perfect place to chill out during the summer too :)
When you're unexpectedly in the area, you STOP! Legit, some of the best fries in Indy! That crunch! The staff is always amazingly friendly! Even in mid day with shift from lunch to dinner they keep a clean house and the experience is just stellar! Such an affordablrle and tasty snack!
My girlfriend and I went here for our monthly book club meeting, and it was fantastic. We had amazing cocktails, and absolutely delicious and unique dishes. The vibe in the space were perfect! I cannot wait to visit again, especially during patio season because their patio looked really nice. There is ample street and lot parking. Several neighboring businesses and entertainment. They are in the up-and-coming Factory Arts District and definitely worth every minute and every dollar Our server was wonderful patient and had a great suggestions. He was helpful and friendly. because the place is a little smaller than your usual restaurant downtown. There is a little bit of a wait time, but it is definitely worth it.

My food was excellent! I ordered the half chicken, and it was too tasty! The staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived a little too early for dinner, but they took care of us while we waited for dinner service to start. The atmosphere is really nice. read more

As a mom of two toddlers, I'm usually skeptical of a new restaurant opening in DT Indy. I never know if it's going to be kid friendly, or not. Daisy Bar blew us away for several reasons. 1. It IS kid friendly! There is a kids menu. 2. There is a nice size outdoor patio, can't wait for summer! 3. The food was outstanding! We already cannot wait to go back and try other items! We ordered the kids grilled cheese, which anything on Amelia bread is going to blow you away! The egg sandwich was super flavorful! The chili crisp added a nice level of spice and took it up a notch. The kids breakfast plate was a nice size portion. read more

I did end up arriving before they opened for the day. I just waited in a seating area inside of the complex. It was nice to have that option since it was raining outside. A small group had gathered by the time they opened. The line did move rather fast. I ordered an egg sandwich and an iced maple pecan latte. It is open seating and they bring your food to you. The art and decor is really cute. They have an impressive bar selection . Good to know since they also serve cocktails in the evening. My food came out pretty quickly. The latte was good but nothing special. The egg sandwich had lots of flavor (and was really messy) I would like to come back and try their cocktails. read more

I was so disappointed coming here! I think the place is chill, and the vibes are good, however, that's the only thing that was good. Our cashier/the person we ordered food through, was rude and annoyed with us. It was our first time there, and she was not very welcoming. She seemed like we were inconveniencing her. We got two waters, Chilaquiles and biscuits with mushroom gravy. The chilaquiles were so horrible in my opinion. They had sugar, and red jam and incredibly salty. It was not a combination, and it should not be called chilaquiles. I have been to multiple states in Mexico and have never had anything like this. It was truly disappointing. The biscuits with mushroom gravy were sweet, like there was sugar added, the sauce was also in blobs after a few minutes after we got our food. Their potatoes were decent. I did like that they use/refill water bottles and you can go up and get your own cutlery and napkins. It was giving cafeteria style. read more
Good food, pleasant service, it's an order at the counter and seat yourself place. It's tucked into an area of the industrial complex that is expanding. I got the Mr. Turkey Pants sandwich which was tasty. The broccoli salad was my side, it has golden raisins in it which was a surprise but tasty. Hubs got the egg sandwich and it has a nice kick to it with the chili crisp. We'll be back. read more
I came on a Tuesday evening for dinner with some friends and there was a 15 min wait. I got the yellow tail ceviche and let me tell you, that was delicious. I also have the Oaxaca Daiquiri which was refreshing and strong. 10/10 will come back to try more items from the menu. Not sure if they take reservations but I'd recommend it, I've heard it can get pretty busy (and for good reason). The decoration is also really cute. read more

Restaurant on mass in what appears to be a new shared space building. The menu is limited but packed with flavor.I went for coffee and ordered an iced hazelnut/ mocha latte with oatmilk. The latte was creamy and delicious . Although I didn't order food I saw entrees such as the quinoa salad and fries being served and they looked amazing. Definitely will be back to try other items read more

Obviously going way above and beyond to "get us in here" very unique and absolutely amazing. 4 of us tonight and everything was good, we shared! The staff was perfect, handpicked to bring joy. The food was magnificent and spicey enough to not need hot sauce. Speaking of sauces, we had 3 different unique sauces between us - each with its own special flavors freshly prepared. I like it here at the end of the Monon. read more

Service is quick and the food is very well made. The burger is excellent! Not even sure I got a pic because I ate it so quick! The ambiance gives "adult cafeteria" vibes. I enjoyed and have been back 3 times now. read more

So impressed with Daisy Bar! I heard great things but finally made it in to check it out. I got the chicken Caesar sandwich & a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The sandwich was so filling and so flavorful. The space was small but we got there about 30 minutes after they opened and got a spot. Love this new addition to the city!! Can't wait to go back! read more
It's a cool place although a little small inside. They didn't open up the outside area even though it was a Saturday night. Honestly I think the food is a little pricy for the portion size. The soup and half chicken were very tasty, but I feel like the serving portion of the half chicken was pretty small and it took a long time to prepare. It would have been nice to have a heads up that it would take longer to prepare. Otherwise a fine place if this is your cup of tea. read more

I stopped by this place with a coworker during a business trip after visiting President Harrison's residence. The restaurant is located inside what appears to be a redeveloped factory complex. The area wasn't fully occupied yet, but there were several cute shops and a few restaurants that gave it a unique atmosphere. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, and it was excellent. The meat was so tender it literally fell apart, making my plate a bit messy, but it was absolutely delicious. My coworker ordered a different sandwich and enjoyed it as well. I was also impressed by the French fries. They looked like they might be greasy, but they were actually crispy, light, and very tasty. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. One thing to note is that if you arrive by Uber, you may be dropped off at the entrance to the complex and need to walk inside to find the restaurant. Sandwiches were around $18, which felt reasonable for the quality. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal, and I would definitely come back to try some of their other sandwiches. read more

I stopped here after a Pilates class and was so happy I picked this place. The food was so fresh and came out quick, the chicken was well seasoned and crispy! I was very surprised! I loved the broccoli salad as well. The cashier was friendly and greeted me when I came up to the counter and I came in with a big party and they were very accommodating and welcoming. I loved the colors of the restaurant and it matched my vibe a lot. I will come back! read more
What a fun concept. I very much enjoyed my time at Daisy Bar! It was a bit of an adventure getting there (didn't realize there was parking closer, ended up parking on the giant lot, walked down a long hallway to a shorter hallway to the restaurant *pictured*), but boy was it worth it! (And not Daisy Bar's fault in being ahead of the curve in terms of revitalizing the Factory Arts district!). The food was great and so inventive. The Gochujang pimento dish was quite the (great) combo of ingredients & the birria mandu was also unique in quite the tasty way. The campfire smore finish was 10/10. I also had a drink which rounded everything out nicely. Overall love the addition and all the fun dishes they have. *Will* be back. (Oh, and the server was extremely friendly & the ambiance a chill/fun vibe) read more
Cool new eatery with everything made in house, including breads. The focus is on flavorful and healthy options. The ambiance has a very modern techno-chic vibe. A nice selection of breakfast items - both 'regular' and 'unique' choices. Same holds for the lunch menu. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the Double Burger featuring 2 thin burgers with nicely crisp edges. With the garnishes it was delightfully sloppy. He chose a crunchy fries as his side which were quickly devoured. I opted for the vegan Green Chile Falafel in house made pita. That and my side of Broccoli Salad (loved the golden raisins) were exceptional. Just east of downtown Indy on 10th, it's worth a visit. read more

This place just opened up in the Factory Arts District (formerly Circle City Industrial Complex). I was a little confused on the best place to park and the best way to enter the business, but really just parking either in the parking lot by Center Point Brewing or on the street and entering through the front of the Daisy Bar is perfect. The decor inside is so cute! Very fun and modern! You can take your time looking at the menu and then can order at the bar. It was about $15 for the entree. They had a lot of good vegetarian options! The hummus plate was delicious!! My partner said it could have been spicier, but I thought it was flavorful! I definitely will be back and I need to try more of the menu! read more
This place is definitely giving Cordelia's in Cleveland that just one a James's Beard. That's how good it is. The Korean fried chicken with the butter honey sauce was so hot, juicy, oso crispy. When you can elevate a tomato - you are next level. It's Indiana so tomato quality was what it was but the accoutrements were chef's kiss. They have a stout beer on tap that is coffee-cocoa nib-coconut mixture that was !! Lastly, agree with other reviews, those thrice cooked fries are the best I have had. Get the daisy sauce! My second time here. Can't wait to return. read more

My first visit to the Daisy Bar. I sat at the bar. Both bartenders were very nice and helped me pick some food. I started with the grilled tomato salad. Red onion and toasted pepita on a creama made this very flavorful. A pinch of salt would be nice. I also tried the wings. They have really interesting flavors. Super crispy and well done. Maybe a little too well done but that might be the recipe. It's not really a visually appealing dish but the flavors are nice. The space is super cool with some nifty art and wall pieces. The patio looks nice and was popular. Glad to have intriguing menu items in the neighborhood. Looking forward to trying other items. read more

Love this new addition to the Cottage Home / Windsor Park area! They are newly opened so I'm not sure if it's the norm, but you order at the bar, you get a number, and they bring the food to you. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. My husband and I had the biscuits and gravy (had a nice kick to it!) and the chilaquiles- both were delicious! We will definitely plan on coming back. Plenty of parking around the area. read more

Second time visiting the restaurant. Second visit was much better than the first visit. First visit included the bulgogi chopped cheese sandwich, buttermilk blue salad and Daisy double burger. Was not fan of the bulgogi sandwich (which I typically LOVE good bulgogi) as it was just not my choice in taste. It was off for me. Double burger was very good, but nothing special. Fries were excellent! Blue salad was good, but again nothing special. Best part was the candied jalapeño pepper added a nice kick to the salad. Ambiance was excellent! Very trendy staff and customers. Cool place to be and be seen. Went back for the falafel sandwich with a side of broccoli salad. Best sandwich ever! Pita was soft and fresh. Falafel was fluffy compared to most dense falafel's I have experienced at other restaurants. So good! Pickled red onions were exceptionally good and added a nice flair to the sandwich. Broccoli salad was excellent with nice large chunks of broccoli, golden raisins and toppings. Slightly over dressed but still a great addition. Very pleased with this sandwich and highly recommended! read more
Excited to see this new spot open at the corner of 10th and Brookside. There aren't many lunch options on the Near Eastside without crossing officially into downtown. They had a really unique menu and I want to try several more things. All three folks in our party really enjoyed the food. I also love that they used a number of Near Eastside artists/fabricators in the design and build out of the space. They're still partially under construction now- so keep that in mind for the next few months. read more
