This store was in good shape at one time. Now it is a total hot mess and it rarely has stock available. Do you not visit and inspect your store? You should. The staff are helpful. I'm sure that the drug addicts hotel across the street isn't helping the problem. You probably have a lot of theft. But clearly you as district manager are not even trying to bring the matter to the attention of the drug addicts shelter across the street. They do have an open door policy for complaints supposedly. We want to keep this store open but something has to be done about the amount of theft and lack of products. Have you thought about not allowing backpacks in the store? Also the Sleater Kinney store is a hot mess too with a drug addiction theft problem.

As I was continuing to look around the crafting isle, one of the employees Kay informed me that the vinyl was on sale. The vinyl is already a great value at $1.25 a roll instead of the $15+ you pay for name brand. Kat helped me gather 80 plus rolls and then checked me out. You don't always get great customer service with a smile anymore so I was definitely happy and appreciative for all the help and kindness Kat showed me. I'll be back!

Two times I bought food that wasn't what I wanted (over-ripe bad avocados and bad cheese) and both times the store allowed me to exchange the item quickly. I brought my receipt and the item I didn't want within a day or two of purchasing but it was still easier than other grocers. The staff there is super nice - I hope management treats them nicely too! I like to check out the store regularly since they change things up a lot. Glad I live real close!

I had an unfortunate experience today at the Grocery Outlet on the west side of Olympia. I came in…read morebriefly with headphones on, grabbed a few items, and had no interaction with any staff while shopping. Near the entrance there is an older male employee who seemed to have an unpleasant demeanor. I took out my headphones to be polite to the checkout employee. While I checked out he spoke with another older female employee talking about me. Then he came over quietly muttered "find somewhere else to shop." I was very surprised to hear that, especially as a paying customer who had simply come in, purchased a few items, and left without causing any issue or talking to anyone. Telling a customer to shop somewhere else is not something I would ever expect to hear from an employee. I've shopped at this location for years and never had a negative experience, which made this interaction even more disappointing. I hope management is aware and addresses this type of behavior toward customers.

I was disappointed due to the drive as their website said they had it. As I was checking out, Marsha came running up to me saying she found a case of Shoe goo, and opened the case and gave me some. All of the sales associates I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I would like to make a suggestion though. My husband and I witnessed how hard the young gentlemen who were working corralling the shopping carts outside of the store entrance. As a large and well respected corporation that Costco is, we were bewildered that these young men were not using any kind of mechanical assisting device for the cart returns. If possible, could Costco please consider purchasing these to prevent any injuries to the employees working in this capacity?

My family and I were shopping in the Tumwater store last Sunday and as we were headed to our car…read morewith our overloaded cart when disaster struck and our case of energy drinks fell off the bottom of the cart and about half of the cans were busted and making a mess. Before we could even pick it up ourselves, warehouse employee Ky, swooped in to save the day and offered to take the damaged case back inside and exchange it for a new one. Since they were already closed we weren't sure if it was even possible but Ky assured us it could be done. A massive thank you to Ky of reminding us why most of our shopping is done with Costco.
