I was even hired once long ago to be a customer service manager and they made me fried chicken boy. Always lacking what you need, prices through the roof, a weird layout where pretzels will be on one side of the store and chips will be on the other (same for many other similar products). I asked somebody once if they worked there because I needed help and the response was "what do you think?". She's now a manager. It's a store full of miserable old housewives who need something to do so they are now cashiers, and young to middle aged men who are scared of the world and think this job security. It's just another grocery store pretending to be down to earth but is full of assholes.

This store was in good shape at one time. Now it is a total hot mess and it rarely has stock available. Do you not visit and inspect your store? You should. The staff are helpful. I'm sure that the drug addicts hotel across the street isn't helping the problem. You probably have a lot of theft. But clearly you as district manager are not even trying to bring the matter to the attention of the drug addicts shelter across the street. They do have an open door policy for complaints supposedly. We want to keep this store open but something has to be done about the amount of theft and lack of products. Have you thought about not allowing backpacks in the store? Also the Sleater Kinney store is a hot mess too with a drug addiction theft problem.

As I was continuing to look around the crafting isle, one of the employees Kay informed me that the vinyl was on sale. The vinyl is already a great value at $1.25 a roll instead of the $15+ you pay for name brand. Kat helped me gather 80 plus rolls and then checked me out. You don't always get great customer service with a smile anymore so I was definitely happy and appreciative for all the help and kindness Kat showed me. I'll be back!

In the past. My last 3 cake orders were WRONG over the last 3 months (march, April and May birthdays in my house). The first 2 were only missing the piped writing. No big deal. Which brings me to the reason i will NEVER shop there again. I ordered a 2 layer bakery cake for my son's birthday. When I ordered i specifically ordered the 2 layer cake. NOT the four layer private selections factory made garbage they presented to me at pick up. I spoke to 2 bakery employees and a manager. All who seemed less than concerned. They even tried to convince me that it was 2 layer but the tag says 4 layer for some unrelated reason. I have actual grocery/bakery experience. I know these things happen but to ignore the fact they did NOT fill my order properly was really bothersome. The lack of customer service and the outright lie to my face that these 2 cakes are the same was enough for me. I wont go out of my way to shop or order here again.

Look. You need to grade Winco on what I call "the Winco curve."…read more The store is clean and fairly well organized. They have several items you can't find anywhere else in the area. The prices are great, much lower than Freddy's or Safeway. They have a great bulk section, the only bulk section I've found in the area. Spices, candy, pasta, flours, and more can be found in their bulk section. They don't take credit cards and you have to bag your own groceries, so keep that in mind. This is considered the "poor" grocery store. But I'm not poor, and I like to shop here. Yes, you might end up behind someone in line with two carts full of groceries, and paying with a combination of cash, check, and EBT, but the savings are awesome and the checkout process is relatively quick regardless. I love Winco and if you don't you might be a snob. Bonus fact: "Winco" is an acronym for "Washington, Idaho, Northern California, Oregon." Bonus-bonus fact: last time I checked, their sister store is Metropolitan Market, a North Sound area "fancy" store.
