One of the employees went to the meat department to get a new package of chops. I asked the manager to open the package to make sure the chops were fresh. She opened the package and we could small they also were bad. We both went back to the meat department to find a fresh package. As she proceeded to open each package they were all bad! How could this be? They returned my money no problem but I needed chops to cook for my family's dinner so I went to Winco. I am new to the area and had decided to check the Grocery Outlet out since the price of food is so high. I was very disappointed. At Winco I was able to buy the same pork chops for $2.38 per pound and the package was only $8.40. The pork at the outlet was $3.48 per pound for rotten meat. I wonder how many unsuspecting customers brought home rotted chops and put them in the freezer for another day. If it wasn't so late in the day I would have done this. So if you recently bought chops at this store and put them in your freezer I suggest you return them because when you defrost them you will find out they are un edible This place was no bargain. I have never been in a Ross store before. A good friend of mine bought a thermos cup by Betsy…read moreJohnson. I love her artwork and illustrations so I decided to go to Ross and buy one for myself. I found the cutest thermos mug by Betsey Johnson and I bought it. The cashier said do you want your receipt? I said no because I had absolutely no thought of bringing it back. I got home. I washed the cup. I removed the sticker from the bottom and proceeded to use the cup. As I started sucking on the straw, it was like when you have a half an inch of drink in the bottom of a glass and it starts bubbling and you get a lot of air up your straw with a little bit of drink luckily I didn't choke. I took the top off, turned the straw around and tried it again. It did the same thing. Long story short, three other people looked at the cup and couldn't fix it so here I am today at Ross taking it back. The unfriendly Customer Service at Ross says I couldn't return it because I didn't have a receipt and the sticker on the bottom was off. I put it on my credit card. I said just take it off the card. It was 1499. They gave an excuse why they couldn't do that either. So instead of constantly complaining to you yelp, I'm just letting people know. Be careful what you buy in that store and they don't stand behind their products. It's not like I didn't have any proof it was on my credit card. So now I will go to my bank and I will have them remove it. Ross, you suck and your employees suck too.

He blocked me into my parking spot and got out of his vehicle screaming at me. Just warning people get crazy here, maybe Lacey in General. So I usually take my husband now, and do not go alone. The service is better now, and I have not seen the cashier who was rude before. The customer service people are so nice, quick and helpful. And the cashiers are generally friendly and pretty fast. The prices are great, much lower than Freddy's or Safeway. They have a great bulk section, the only bulk section I've found in the area. Spices, candy, pasta, flours, and more can be found in their bulk section. They don't take credit cards and you have to bag your own groceries, so keep that in mind. This is considered the "poor" grocery store. But I'm not poor, and I like to shop here. Yes, you might end up behind someone in line with two carts full of groceries, and paying with a combination of cash, check, and EBT, but the savings are awesome and the checkout process is relatively quick regardless. I love Winco and if you don't you might be a snob. Bonus fact: "Winco" is an acronym for "Washington, Idaho, Northern California, Oregon." Bonus-bonus fact: last time I checked, their sister store is Metropolitan Market, a North Sound area "fancy" store.
