    Pretty, for a Walmart!
    Greg C.

Ok, typically sketch people meandering about in the parking lot, that's why I park center in front of the doors and close. Keep your eyes open! This store is in the middle of a full renovation and reset. Beware that stuff has moved around, and they are still resetting. I saw a sign yesterday about a 're-grand opening' in November, so it looks like organized chaos until then. Still, what they've done thus far looks great! Appreciate them cleaning the place up!

    Walmart's Black Hole. Lol

Service I was struggling looking for a specific item, and when a customer service named Itima, I'm not sure the spelling, saw me that I was frustrated she asked me if if I needed help. I was happy that she approached me. She spent a few minutes with me and located the item that I needed. Sadly, it was out of stock. Selection They have a variety of products, different brand that one can choose from. Value Prices are moderate and affordable. You get what you pay for. It's good for everyday use and consumption. Walmart might have bad reviews, but Itima, customer service in Lacey on Galaxy Rd, deserves the recognition that she deserves.

This Walmart had me both about to crash out and quite literally on the floor laughing my ass off. For a Walmart with such a fancy outside, the inside is anything but. I'm convinced it's a money laundering scheme or a front for criminal activity. When we walked in we were wanting water, so we headed to the water fountain, but it didn't work properly. It didn't just not work at al--it would blast water all the way across the water fountain and onto the floor, but only for half a second before reverting to having a weak stream that didn't come off the spout enough to drink. If you spam pressed it, it would just not shoot it out, so you had to like press it and wait a second or two before pressing it again. It wasn't able to quench our thirst that way, so we headed over to the first checkout lane water cooler we found--and it literally had its lights off and was not chilled despite being completely filled with water bottles. When it came to browsing the store, it was even weirder. They somehow manage to have nothing (barely any options for almond milk compared to the Tumwater Walmart, only two bags of dog food, an entire row of shelves that were all completely empty except for a single jug of fruit punch) and way too much (three entire sections of fridge with nothing but Great Value whole milk and another two with nothing but Great Value 2% milk, two shelves of the same exact Franz hotdog buns, half an aisle that was just Great Value vegetable oil and canola oil, and the bread aisle being completely stocked but only with the same six bread brands and types). The layout is weird too. Picture this: you're walking down one of those strips between sections of the store that have the displays in the middle, and the displays are of underwear, but on one side of you is the alcohol, and on the other side is the baby formula. That is what I experienced. Why is it like that? Why is the coffee aisle the one directly facing the checkout? It feels like the layout of this store was designed specifically for the soldiers and airmen who commute to JBLM. Coffee in the front because you're overworked, don't get enough sleep, and need to be in and out of the store as quickly as possible so you can get your coffee in before your hour drive to base, and alcohol and baby stuff in the same area because... well, you made a mistake and want to forget it, but don't want to traverse the whole store. Other weird occurrences are as follows: Aisles that you can barely fit your cart into and aisles you could line up four carts side-by-side in, an immense amount of workers (we're talking like a 5:1 employee-customer ratio) that seem to herd together in groups of three to eight in random spots throughout the store, potentially risky renovations happening while the store is open (a giant sign was being taken down and we heard it shift, to which the guy taking it down said "fuck...", and there were just spinning fan blades left uncovered and able to be touched), a British employee whose accent sounded way stronger and more stereotypically posh than normal, which wasn't too crazy because nearly every worker in there was foreign, a pet tag machine with NOTHING else around it, a skibidi toilet toy section (not kidding), a haunted women's restroom, many opened but unfinished drinks left around the store, an interesting playlist (careless whisper played mid mental breakdown at everything else wrong with this place), a parking lot the size of Rhode Island, and an area by the bus stop which can only be described as an inverted hill that serves as a graveyard for approximately seven shopping carts. Oh, and they sell single hot pockets. I've never seen anywhere sell boxes of any less than two--not even gas stations. Some of this may be able to be attributed to the renovations that have been going on for over a month now, but so much of it cannot.

Not as awkward as other experiences, but not as comfortable as other non walmart named department stores. Won't be shopping here today.

I had to spend up to 3 hours/month managing this. Ready Meds automatically sends me 4 weekly books. There are sealed pockets for morning, noon, and night. I can easily see if I've taken my meds today. Getting started was a bit of a problem. They told me they would mail, then they delivered, then they said I had to be here for delivery then they said they weren't set up for delivery. OK, mail works. I didn't ask for the drama. I also had to remind them to send the first delivery. There was some confsion about what I took and how often, but that was cleared up. If you get class 2 drugs, they will come in a separate set of booklets. And if you get something that you take when you like, it will come in it's own booklet. There were problems getting these set up with my Doctor. Ready Meds didn't bother to tell me when the Doctor didn't respond, They didn't seem particularly concerned nor did they call the doctor back. On my first delivery, they ran out of something and switched to another brand. But they didn't tell me, and it seemed like I got the wrong script. They also shipped me some sleeping pills the next month when the supply was meant for 90 days making my doctor question me about the amount I was taking. They haven't quite got things going for single customers. Reaching someone after about 5 is difficult. I ended up taking 3 of my scripts back to my old pharmacy. Readymeds is mainly set up for institutions. If you have pills you take every day, they will ship to you in booklets that will make your life easier. But if you have anything that isn't daily, keep it with your own pharmacy. It was a rocky start, but now things are going well. Consider this a qualified recommendation for those that take everything on a regular schedule.

The only reason I keep coming back is because my ONE medication is so much cheaper here than anywhere else, but being a busy working, sports mom I just don't have the time for this crap. I'm done. I'd rather pay more and get my time and sanity back. Also - in sitting and waiting for my "billing adjustment" I've witnessed at least five people leave in near tears because of how ridiculous this place is. I truly feel for the people that work here, but they can't treat customers like they're just a bunch of idiots (one woman didn't speak English well and needed help understanding the bill, an elderly woman couldn't hear and basically got angrily shouted at, etc...) it's not ok.

They usually have the items I need in a pinch, such as various medical supplies. My only concern is with the Amazon drop off inside Rite Aid. I had a package there that was cut open, items removed, and then covered with black tape. I post this mainly as a caution to anyone else who may use this as an Amazon drop off location. Amazon will refund you however, it's a hassle and they probably keep track of how many times you request refunds. Pic of the tampered box included. The store and staff are a solid 5 stars, just be cautious and look at your packages carefully if you use this drop box.

They're handling medication, I don't think a clean pharmacy is much to ask. - I switched to this pharmacy when I moved to the area partly because the Safeway app said I'd receive gift certificates or something for the store if I did. The app wouldn't let me sign up due to some technical issue, so I called and they set me up over the phone. When I picked up my first fill, I was informed that since they set me up over the phone I wasn't entitled to any bonus. I don't doubt the "letter of the law" aspect of this, but it felt super bait-and-switchy. - It took them over a week to get my meds transferred from my old pharmacy and that was only after I called back to ask about the delay. Person I spoke to had no idea why they hadn't contacted my old pharmacy yet. - The second time I went in, they didn't have my refills and didn't know what I needed. I showed them the text they had sent saying the order was ready two days earlier. They realized they had reshelved my refills and in keeping with the common theme, had "no idea" what had happened. After this second fill I switched to another pharmacy. Other than offering details of my own experiences, I don't usually recommend people avoid certain businesses, but I have serious concerns about safety here, and while most pharmacies have issues, I'd suggest looking seriously at other options.
