I dropped in here expecting to see furniture, reasonable prices, vintage, antiques etc. It was absolute junk. There was a great big void in the front of the store where furniture might have been. Instead, there's an old mattress and some stroller and a rickity table. The place needs to be merchandised and completely revamped to be appealing. The guy behind the desk was nice but he needs to get out there and completely fix that place up ...the junk you had was so overpriced. Then this guy tells me they're opening up another store in McKenna. Are you kidding me? You need to curate it to be appealing. Not look like a garage sale. This place could be so nice in the center of Old Town. Yelm. But instead it's a junk hole. So disappointing. My advice to you is to completely re-merchandise it and set it up completely differently. Small but packed with good stuff to buy. This is like what the Goodwill used to be. Good prices with good stuff. Keeping it local is best. Customer service was great plus it was neighbors helping out neighbors. You can donate there also. If you need earrings or vintage jewelry, check this place out. read more

People Come one Come all and donate your reusable belongings to a good cause. And when you come bring some canned foods which the store gives away for free to anyone who needs. Amazing organization folks. There should be 200 more stores like this. At least send them a check for any size donation, whatever you can afford. This was my first time in this store but will not be the last. I wish to become an avid supporter as well. Coats were being given away FREE today.! this non profit supports several other community resources as well as listed on a page taped to the counter. People this place needs our support and I don't even live in Yelm, I am from Spanaway. The prices or donations that are asked for reusable items is very very reasonable. Cute store, friendly staff, seemingly great discounts! Compared to goodwill their prices are great! But for the quality of the items... the price is meh. This is NOT easy shopping even in comparison to other second hand shops. The store is VERY small and everything feels cramped, but I would come back if I needed mostly because you can't beat the kindness of the owners! read more

I love this store, very cozy with a huge, fairly priced selection. Young David (the "D" in DC's Treasures) is polite & friendly and is a wonderful conversationalist. I bought new or close to new Christmas presents for several people here for under $10 in total. Worth a trip for any out of town bargain hunters. read more

This is a great little thrift store in downtown Yelm. Prices are great, selection and organization is amazing, especially considering that it's just a small place. There are clothes, tools, dishes, toys, jewelry etc etc. Lots of new stuff, lots of nice clean used stuff. Where else can you get a fishing pole with reel, a handful of tools, a couple of DVDs and a pair of shorts for under $30? They only take cash so don't hand over your plastic. read more
