Pretty cute little aesthetic shop I really like the skating aisle, but other than that the rest of the store is okay pretty cute place overall

I am fortunate enough to have worked in a thrift store in my high school years. I know how to make the most of my time. I can quickly find treasures hidden in the racks or literally hidden in the wrong section. Nothing can hide from me. While my brother was distracted with some lady and my family at the museum, I got my thrift on. And with a name like "Dumpster Values", I knew I had found the right place for me. Thrifting was a pretty common hobby for me in my NW days. NY is a little harder to find super cheap good deals. It's mainly buy-sell-trade shops but I have found some thrifty spots I like but are harder to get to from my neighborhood. Dumpster Values is still a better version of a thriftstore. Items aren't as cheap as a Goodwill. With that being said, the items felt more curated. I found a very cool straw hat but my head was way too large for it. I weeded through the dresses and found a gorgeous black and white heart pattern dress with a matching blazer! It fit perfectly. I then found a super luscious velvet dress which fits a little big but with the belt, can be pulled into the fall perfection. It also has pockets which I am a huge fan of. Total success. It's almost like a thrifstore HIGH you get when you are able to find these treasures. I couldn't wait to get these items washed when I get home and take them out on the town. There are also a great selection of shoes, jewelry and men's wear. And I spotted an attached skateboard shop and record section. Unfortunately the record section was closed that day. The place is large and I think with a nice amount of time, you can find a little something to take home. Definitely my kinda souvenir!

This place gives dumpster diving a run for its money. They've got a great selection of old vinyl and it's even organized. It's almost as if it was a used record shop at one time. It's your usual thrift store with the usual used clothing though some of the clothes had a little bit more funky to them which is always welcome. Their politics are also right out there for you to take it or leave it. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NAsetBqQyypmssyquEY82g?select=uwsUYWsG_DrHxoF793JhRA#uwsUYWsG_DrHxoF793JhRA I took it and I liked it. Occupy Dumpster Values!

Cute little leopard pin up dress I got for maybe $13? Great find!!!

LOVE! This place! Super fun cute well sized shop with friendly staff. Open dressing rooms despite covid, YES! VERY fair priced clothings items. Located in the perfect spot great parking right out front of store and surrounded my tons of other really interesting/quirky little shops. Every time I come in here I definitely leave with a few items and that's saying a lot coming from someone who's highly selective! For sure one of my favorite places to visit now without a doubt

Great Vintage With Incredible Retro-Style!…read more SITREP We were looking for pizza and instead initially wandered into this store only to find some awesome retro-dresses! THE SETUP My galpal Jenner & I were on the way back to Central Washington (after she picked me up at SEATAC), and on our way through Olympia, we got struck with massive hunger cravings for Pizza. As we headed to La Gitana, HOT TODDY crossed out path (or rather, we crossed IT'S path) and we had to wander inside of it once we were *blinded by the light* of all it's colors inside! STYLES & DESIGNS! We were inside a virtual smorgasbord of crazy fabrics & designs! I played guard to the dressing room while Jenner tried on some awesome dresses. I also foraged around for some smaller, more palatable items for a guy to wear and found some pretty cool jackets and socks. THE LOWDOWN After grabbing a couple of dresses, we were ready to go and find our pizza stop (which we did since it was almost next door). Missions Accomplished!

Today I walked in, a white Oly couple a few steps ahead of me. The clerk completely ignored them, but as soon as she saw me she RUSHED out from behind the counter in a panic as if to block my entry, saying "CAN I HELP YOU" in a stressed tone. She only relaxed when she saw my shopping bag from Radiance. I can't think of what would cause such a reaction, except that I am visibly brown. I'd hate to think that someone at such a sweet staple of downtown was racially profiling me. All in all it left a sour taste in my mouth. In over 10 years, I've never been treated this way here.

The Eagles #21 has history dating 100 years- through the beginning of the club's early founding, it's heyday in the 40's and 50's, and through it's slight decline in the 80's and 90's. Since then it has gone through numerous improvements to make it one of the best spots for entertainment and leisure. Decades of live events throughout the 4-level building have brought many different people together from all over the Oly area, and the world. Upstairs is the huge Eagles Grand Ballroom that is used for weekly dances and planned events such as weddings, proms, and recitals. There are performance art classes also available for anyone wanting to learn a type of dance, or drum. In the bottom level of the building is the E-mart. The Eagles houses a thrift store full to the brim of second-hand goods. From designer labeled clothing, to electronics, old VHS and DVDs, furniture, and from dishes and housewares to books and toys. Of course, the ground level is the member's lounge. Boasting the only bar in downtown Olympia to have the NFL ticket, the clubhouse can get any NFL game on it's six flat-screen TVs and projector. The Eagles is also home to the official Brown's Backers football club who meet for every Cleveland Brown game. And the best spot to watch all your Sounders, Mariners, and Seahawks games. Not a football fan? All throughout the week there are daily drink specials (cheapest in town), live music, karaoke, free pool and foosball, pull tabs, a stage and a dance floor and a jukebox, video games, potlucks, and great people enjoying the company at the bar. It is a member's only club, however. Joining is simple. There are yearly dues to being a member, and of course abiding by club rules and aerie bylaws. But they are always accepting more members to join and be a part of a great community of fundraisers who love to party!
