The lady behind the counter asked me do you have a mask. But right next to her was a man with no mask. I said, no but neither does he. And she looked at him and then told me, well you need a mask. I said, are you going to tell him that. She just stared at me and I stared at her. So I put my stuff down and went to get my mom. As we left, she was telling him how I said no and he doesn't. And they chuckled. So I said, what's so funny the white worker just told the Mexican girl to wear a mask and not the white guy who also is not wearing a mask. I will never go back.

We had our coffee in hand and our boys had a bag of crackers. We walked in the door just after another family and there were 3 employees I'm assuming, that were standing around the front counter. The lady behind the counter immediately told us that we could not have our food/drinks in their store. I have never gone to an antique store where food and drinks were unacceptable to walk around with. but ok. I DID find it discriminating because my family is biracial and the family that walked in the store just before us was Caucasian and had a daughter with a juice box and a snack in a Ziploc bag. wth? Needless to say, we didn't feel welcome upon entering and so we left. No business for them. We found great treasures at the Goodwill down the road. ;)

And it's a good thing we didn't have anything planned, because this isn't your typical "wander around in silence while the staff may or may not occasionally glance up to see if you're still there" kind of a store. No, siree. Thor was personable, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and really put in the effort to make sure my wife and I were able to find exactly what we wanted, and not just something that was "close enough." To say that the selection is enormous is a little like saying the Pacific Ocean has a fair amount of water in it. Everything from rings, pendants, brooches, necklaces, belt buckles, drinking horns, Celtic mythology, Norse mythology, semi-precious stones, swords, incense. The list is far too long for one Yelp review. We wound up picking up a Tree of Life wall hanging, after about an hour or two of talking to Thor, Stella, and the rest of the clientele that were there. We will definitely be back.

Sound Auction uses KP Gunworks for firearm (FFL) transfers. on 12/20/25 I present to KP Gunworks to complete the transfer at 0930. The business phone number states they are open at 10:00 on Saturday. On the door it is posted 9-5 and on Google it states 11-3 on Saturday. I sat in my car for over two hours 0930-1140 passing all three posted opening times and no-one ever showed. Several people showed as well and one young man who stated "He just shows up when he wants to". When he wants to? I have over four thousand dollars invested in an FFL transfer company that Sound Auction chooses to use that might show up when he wants to? At 11:40 I returned home to Lynnwood an over 120 mile round trip for absolutely nothing. Reading the Yelp comments over a two year span, I cannot believe KP Gunworks could be associated with any reputable business or that Sound Auction would have more respect for their customers and choose another FFL that at the minimum honors their posted opening time(s). I called my credit card company and cancelled the purchase and noted it as potential fraud. If a company never opens, and you cannot complete transfer paperwork, and eventually take possession, that is theft at a minimum and I certainly am not paying for that.

Lisha is not only…read moresuperlatively passionate and knowledgeable about luxury watches, but she genuinely cares about her customers; to her, it is not just about the transaction, but about having an authentic connection with the customer and their story. Along my journey, I had visited a few other ADs, but none of the visits felt real or, dare I say, 'fun.' It was not until my visit to Alvin Goldfarb (almost by luck on my wife's suggestion!) and meeting Lisha that I became aware of how the experience *should* be. The store was beautiful and inviting. It was so easy for her to create a relaxed and familiar environment and to connect over the watches I am interested in, and it quickly just became fun to both get genuinely excited about the whole experience; it was like working with an old friend. It was during one of these visits that Lisha decided to surprise me with my dream watch. Let me tell you that as fateful as the first time I visited, this special visit almost did not happen. I had decided last minute to squeeze in a visit on a hot (for Seattle, 80+ deg) summer day after a hectic day of work. For several reasons, it probably would have been "better" to visit on some other day, but boy, oh boy, am I glad I did not listen to my left brain that day and instead went with my gut and reminded myself of how great of a time it would be to enjoy and talk watches with Lisha. We were mid-conversation, with an exhibition GMT Master II on my wrist, talking about watch news, watches as gifts, upcoming travel plans, family life, some current events when out of nowhere a gentleman in a grey suit walks up with a tray in hand, with a watch on the tray, handing it to Lisha. Things started to get blurry at this point, but here's what I remember: Lisha handing me the tray and saying 'That's your watch. I wanted to make sure you had it for your trip,' me (hopefully) able to say some words of astonishment and gratitude (I was stunned, in shock really), me having a hard time doing simple things I have done countless times (like writing my phone number and signing my signature), me not being able to stop glancing at my new wrist companion and feeling its heft on my wrist as our time together began. I also remember repeatedly thanking Lisha and everyone at the store ad nauseam, then sort of floating out of the store with my dream watch on my wrist. Days later, I am still on cloud 9 and incredibly thankful and stoked about the entire experience. Thank you again for the Nth time, Lisha :) I am looking forward to future visits to come, and I cannot more highly recommend working with you and Alvin Goldfarb. More power!

FRANKS experience should give warning & share the ugliness to customers about to frequent this store. Maybe my story will serve as a reminder to reconsider purchasing here. At the time or beginning of my story Alvin Goldfarb Jeweler who was an Authorized Dealer for ROLEX in the Pacific Northwest. After doing some research I started frequenting the store looking for a few Rolex watches. Yes , I was very specific in my choices but always given the " NO " you can't have one for over 2 years. I came in every 4 to 6 weeks just to check and " NO" was the mantra of the sales staff. I was always told we have other watches for sale. Like who cares what ya have if ya can't provide what I desire. Now one amazing summer day I saw the $6400 41mm Celebration dial by Rolex in the case. My excitement level increased and I ask if it's for sale? The mantra is now uttered "NO NO NO" ! However something new that day happened and was shared by sales representative, I was actually told if you spend a $1,000,000 in jewelry it should be no issue to get that watch..... Now I was stunned by this statement so much I said are you serious and the person said YES! Well, that seems excessive and ridiculous and no I didn't drop a million to acquire the timepiece. I'll never forgot the arrogance of staff member of Alvin Goldfarb Jewelry and defiantly will not purchase anything from them. OK, now this is the happy ending of the story. I did manage to acquire The Celebration dial by Rolex elsewhere so I have that going for me. And on January 1st 2025 the BIG HAND OF THE CROWN aka ROLEX laid the smack down on ALVIN GOLDFARB & pulled authorized dealership away from store. No longer can they sell ROLEX.... KARMA saw the bad business practices by using Rolex watches to lure you into buying unwanted jewelry or non Rolex branded watches you don't want in order to maybe purchase a Rolex. Well, this is my story my truth & my journey, can you dig it!

Unfortunately, they completely botched the job by cutting both the strap and the wire that connects it. I truly thought the watch was ruined and had pretty much given up hope. I could have taken it back to Louis Vuitton to have it repaired but I was sure it would have cost me hundreds of dollars to do so. Thankfully, I decided to bring it to Seattle Fine Jewelry for a second opinion. The owner, Ramir, his son Jordan, and their staff member Kaitlyn were absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and completely transparent about the repair process. Not only were they able to fix my watch, but the turnaround time was surprisingly quick. I also had my favorite diamond ring cleaned ("The Manicure" treatment) and wow, the results were remarkable. It came back incredibly sparkly and shiny, like it had been brought back to life. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. Everyone was professional yet fun and welcoming, which made the entire experience enjoyable instead of stressful. Their prices are reasonable, parking is easy right up front, and the quality of service is top-notch. It's rare to find a business that combines skill, honesty, and genuine customer care like this. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Seattle Fine Jewelry and will definitely be returning for future repairs and cleanings.
