My wife and I enjoy shopping at this TJ Maxx location. We never have an issue with the staff and the atmosphere is always welcoming.

I did not appreciate that there was a male worker in the womens restroom cleaning. I get that sometimes you need to do what you need to do but at least close the restroom. I didn't realize he was in there until I was exiting the stall next to the one he was cleaning. read more

I love TJ Maxx. This is a pretty good store with nice employees. It's clean and organized which I appreciate. My only gripe is that they put their perfume literally up directly next to a register. How on earth is anyone going to shop for perfume? It's actually ridiculous! It was pretty cheap perfume when I was there last so not sure why it's in that location. Yeah i get it people steal but people also want to find a deal and Pay for it! Your customers should have the opportunity to take some time to look! Give your customers a chance to look at perfume and make up without bumping into people and being in the way! ROSS and Marshalls figured it out so not sure why TJ Maxx is so lame in this area. . It's hard to shop for perfume and high end cosmetics there and that's primarily why I go there. read more

We have had our up and down experiences. In the last year they gave stepped up. I love their pet section a s check our has been a breeze.

To be honest I didn't come here for anything in particular, but I had an hour to kill before my appointment so why not. They don't have a very large selection of clothing, but it's a decent amount to peruse though. I found a nice pair of pants for work so I was happy. I also found a dog and cat toy for my brother's fur babies. I can't go visit and not get the animals gifts too. All kids should get presents when auntie comes to town. Pros: 1. Varied products to look at: clothing for the whole family, home decor, shoes, and bath essentials (lotions, soaps, etc.) 2. Prices are pretty good Cons: 1. Not a huge selection 2. Staff in the dressing room was more interested in talking with a fellow employee than saying hello to me when handing me a number. However the check-out employee was very nice. read more

While waiting in line, about to be wrung up, the manager was yelling at an associate in front of everyone. It was very unprofessional, although the deals are amazing, that manager may need a reevaluation. read more

The staff was friendly and helpful and all wearing masks. I was able to find what I was looking for (a new coat for my son) really easy and got a great deal on it. I paid $29 for a coat that retails at $99! This is one of my favorite stores! read more

Rude, rude, rude people working here! I bought a couple of shirts that I later decided did not fit well on me. I came in early on a Sunday to return the items. The cashier rang one item up, created a tag for the item, put a security tag on it, and then hung up the shirt. She proceeded to do the same thing with the next shirt. She did this very slowly and deliberately. No eye contact, no conversation. By the 3 shirt, I looked around and wondered why she couldn't do all this when I left. There was barely anyone in the store. I'm actually surprised she didn't put them all back on the floor while I was standing there. Must be above her pay grade or maybe she's just lazy. At any rate, won't be returning and because I am so upset, I will be returning the remaining items I purchased here. read more

I bought a purse for $54 in May and by July the strap had broken. I couldn't fix it myself as I usually would because of the design, so I took it back to get a refund. I was dumfounded to find that they wouldn't reimburse me because the 30 day return was up and they no longer carry that style. Unbelievable! I have never ever heard of a company having a rip off policy like that. TJ Maxx you have lost a client for life! I'm out $54 for two months use on something that should have lasted at minimum two years. read more

Talked to a manager today in need of help to find something. I believe her name was Tammy. Completely unprofessional and started talking to me about her marriage problems and asked if I was married for advice. I'm only 16 and was shopping for a birthday present for my mother. Made me uncomfortable. Didn't know how to exit the conversation. If you go here avoid her. She's the short blonde thin hair girl. read more

I spent over $200 today...my cart was stacked high with pillows, comforter, dishes and sheets. I could barely see over the top. No offer of help from the gal checking me out or any other employees, and no more carts available. When I left the store the cart driveway was so steep I lost control of the cart and pillows fell everywhere. I feel like taking everything back! read more

This is usually one of my favorite stores. My boyfriend & I frequent here offten. But for some reason this time was really f=@%$ up. The manager told one of the very young employees to watch me... RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! Then the rest of my shopping trip, I had one of 2, 16 year old girls breathing down my neck. I know these girls were just doing what they were told. Im just so disappointed they treated me as if I were there to steal, & the very worst part is, after I was home checking my recipe, I found out they had over charged me for 3 items. So in all actuality they stole from me. The only reason. I will be going back to this store. Is to get my back. read more

I purchased two external batteries because I had no way to charge my phone. It was close to closing but it was raining outside and I just need to get an Uber. When i was checking out I explained my situation to the clerk i was told the batteries are pre charged if they don't work for any reason I can return them. While still in the store I plug my phone into the first battery pack. Dead. Tried the second one. Also dead. Turn around and handed them back but I was told they wouldn't return them. Something about tills being finalized. After a ten minute conversation with the assistant manger he assured me I was SOL. Thankfully Ross was open and two blocks away. read more

Horrible customer service!! DONT GO HERE!! I repeat DO NOT GO HERE! My sister, my mother and I needed to exchange some xmas gifts that didn't fit my step-dad, we bought it online so we had the confirmation email with all the info. Tamie (a manager) was already annoyed when we came up (we figured it was busy so we didn't say much), she looked at the email for a few minutes and then told us she couldn't do it. We needed the other email that looked like a receipt and has a barcode on the bottom. Unfortunately, we didn't have that email anymore but the confirmation had all the info, prices, and an order #. After asking her if there's anything she could do, she said "No because there nothing on there that she could "scan" that has numbers. My sister pointed out an order number on it. And she got annoyed and tried that in the computer, it worked, then Tamie said in an irritated tone, "That's what I need!" We were a little taken aback since she was looking at the email for a while. Then this lady interrupted us because she needed a mask. Tamie did a full 180 and was sooo nice and sweet to her. I couldn't help but notice that the lady was white and we're not. After the return was done, she rang up some other things that we bought. Before we left the register though, my mom noticed the beanie she got had a tear. She asked if she could just run back and exchange it. This time Tamie rolled her eyes and demanded my receipt. I didn't understand why she needed it if my mom was just going to get the same one. But I gave her the receipt. My mom ran back and grabbed another one. Instead of just switching it Tamie returned the beanie. I repeated that she just wanted to switch it for one that wasn't torn. She then huffed and puffed and told us to get back in line because she already returned it. We watched her sweetly help the next customer, who was white. I'm NEVER going back to this store! The kicker? Tamie's name tag said their store was #1 in customer service. Number 1?! I'd hate to see all the other stores. Don't think I'll ever shop at TJ MAXX. If they're managers are racist and can treat us this way, I don't even want to imagine the higher ups are like. read more

This store is the smallest TJ I have been to. Mostly women's clothes not much for men here. Mens jewelry and watches is a postage stamp too! Please bring more mens clothes in please! read more

I really like the selection here. They have name brand clothing that is waaay cheaper than buying it retail. This store is huge, since it is where the Border's used to be. I really like that they carry different things that Ross does, and they have a better selection of perfumes, purses, and clothes. The store is always neat and tidy and there isn't any clutter which is nice. I like Ross's kitchen section better and I think it is more affordable there too. Overall I really like this place. It's nice to go here from Ross to pick up things that I couldn't find at Ross. read more

It's been a good long while since I've shopped here, but my family was in town and I know how much they wanted to stop in. I really love the home good items they have and at such a great price that I was in. I LOVE TJMAX and I am unpleased to say that my favorite store is slowly becoming one I don't want to shop in anymore. So many issues with the customer service I have put up with from errors that have very much inconvenienced me and just plain awful service. Everyone makes mistakes and I don't hold that against them, but they have one girl that works there Trystn or something like that, who has treated me like an idiot multiple times, it's so bad that when I see her working the counter now I'll just put my purchases back and go elsewhere. She rolls her eyes at you and talks to you like you are the scum on her shoes. She has made several mistakes during different transactions and never acknowledges them or apologizes. I can't believe their management team hasn't caught onto this. I shop at this store more than I buy groceries, I am a tjmax-aholic from clothes to gifts to home furnishings, I never go into the mall, and I'm ready to close my credit card and start shopping at Macy's again. When I was her age I also worked in retail for both Macy's and Coach, and I have never treated anyone this way, nor have I made so many mistakes. Wise up management. read more
