I went in there this morning. Did my shopping for like 30 minutes OK well I guess that's not too important:) so I go to self checkout and I forgot that they had card only so I backed out with my car looking for a cashier. We all have to use a card or what like I don't want to so I went up to a lady that was observing the self check out another lady named Kathy was walking behind the lady that was in self checkout. I didn't hear them talking, but maybe they didn't. I just couldn't hear I'm not gonna assume. So I'm backed back out and I'm looking at like where are you? Oh over here really rude and I'm like well. I'm not exactly over 5 feet 4 inches so I can't exactly see you with all the stuff in the way so I walked down there and she's like oh is that all I was like well I can get more if you'd like it was one item didn't mean to inconvenience you. I didn't say that then she started to get a little bit more snappy with me and I was like OK wow I mean you guys don't take cash in those self checkouts. I don't have a choice so I got a little snotty back cause I'm not the one to sit there and be snot at cause I'll snoop back. I know it's not exactly the way it should be stood, but I don't care so I'm put my phone number up there. I said I didn't want this one and she's like well. Do you know which one I'm gonna how dare you whoa? I was like I made a mistake. Are we allowed to not make mistakes or just only a few people a minute another lady and her child came up behind me and she was yeah I guess you could come here I was thinking wow that's kind of rude. I mean really wow I wanted to go and talk to the store manager, but I was like why so it makes a difference, probably not maybe I will but hold my breath so then I used my phone as a payment out of my debit card. I thought it was gonna be cash payment. I was like oh I'm sorry I'm just so used to making a card payment. I usually don't ask carry a whole lot of cash you can back out of it and I can make a cash payment and my bad kind of got a little snotty back to her. I mean you know come on for the love of God if you don't like your job quit it go somewhere else do something don't treat me like dirt. I'm tired of these people acting like they own whatever you're gonna just rude Customer Service maybe I should be like half the world and order online so then maybe she won't have a job because I'm ordering online along with the half of America. I am done with Target. I have watched prices go up and up and up for the average customer yet I see thieves walk out of the store with merchandise in their hands, without paying, constantly with nothing apparently being done to combat it. I have pointed it out to employees who say "there isnt anything we can do, we have been told not to confront them". In addition, they now close their dressing rooms at 7pm. Depending on the employee you ask it is either 1.) Because of theft or 2.) We don't have anyone to man the dressing room. This makes no sense, for people who work, we come to Target in the evening. If you don't want to man the dressing room full time, have a button to press when someone wants to try something on, like every other store in Thurston County. This policy is ridiculous. The prices are higher than other stores and customer service is nearly absent. Done. read more

Friendly guy in customer service directed us to baby diapers, but that was incorrect and we wondered around for 15 minutes and we finally found them. There were no sales people anywhere to ask for help. There were only 2 check outs open and 1 self service and they each had lines 6 to 10 customers deep. Items do not have price tags or shelf prices listed. An employee walked me across to another section and showed me where to take an item to scan for a price. I will not go out of my way to see prices. Washington should pass a law requiring stores to list prices. No prices on items, no purchase and will avoid shopping there from now on. read more

I use curbside basically anytime i buy something from a retailer that offers it cause well it's super convenient. Several retailers have an "Ii'm on my way feature". I still usually end up waiting for a free minutes before they come out with my order, which considering the convenience factor or curbside service is no big deal to me and I have no problem waiting for a few minutes. Today I used the curbside pickup service from Target for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed! I'm not even joking when I say I better had my car in park Ave the girl was at my cat work my order. 1 minute out so I would say. It was no doubt my quickest curbside pickup experience ever! It is also the only reason I'm writing this review - because I was so impressed. Like I said most other retailers have reasonable wait times but this was impressively fast! read more

I feel so sorry for the employees here because the management is lacking. I have seen multiple thefts with people just walking out with merchandise, but the employees are mean to paying customers. They are understaffed, over worked and it shows. I had a pick up order last month, they gave me a dirty bag and there was blood on one of the items. I have experienced real anger from employee(s) and I was just getting a price check. If you want to come here, don't ask for anything extra, cause the employees don't have time for it. read more

This was our "go-to" at getting our child situated for college, we were here from the ending of 8/21, a few of our orders was messed up from target.com, but that's not the stores fault. Store was clean and stock was well maintained, employees were very friendly and helpful. Their restrooms were out of service but they did have a secured restroom outside which was well maintained. read more

The problem this time is a place the order about two hours later I went and picked up a couple items in store and saw a pallet of the water that I had ordered. Two days later the order was canceled. Been coming here for two years. Parking has always been terrible even when there's almost no customers. I rolled up at 6:38am today and they open at 7. I have to say though in the grocery area back, it's difficult to get service for Shopkick and I had a complete stranger tell me the exact same thing while he was doing it also. Sometimes this location gets super busy. Have nothing negative to say other than if you plan to do order pickup for food items, CHECK THE DATES ON THE PRODUCT. Twice this past month (March 2023) have I received items from two separate orders with items over 4 months past the Best By date. One of them was literally date for October 2022. I don't care if it's different than an expiration date and technically "still safe to eat", I'd rather have my products I spent money on be at its most fresh or at its best. Especially when these items include flavored superfood powders. read more

Your normal Target store, the prices are hit and miss if there a good value or not. The service here other then the checkout area, hard to find employees if you need help with something, but they do have "phones" where you pick them up if you need help, so that tells me they decided that was a cheaper rout to go. I generally dont use the food court here as its generally higher then what you buy elsewhere, and the quality is Meh, so so. If your in the Olympia area good place to go. read more

I love this Target. I shop here more than I care to admit. Yes, their dressing rooms tend to be messy, but they always have well stocked shelves and super friendly associates. Case in point... Today. The wind was blowing something fierce today and while there the power went out. Yikes! There was no rioting or looting. All remained civil... Upon reaching checkout, some twenty minutes after said power outage, and four items were scanned... The power went out again. And so we waited in line. For about thirty minutes. What amazed me was that nobody abandoned their carts... People waited. And while they waited they laughed and smiled and joked and talked to each other. And I think that is in part due to the manager, who profusely apologized and walked around with Starbucks or popcorn... Or due to the associates who actually engaged the customers! CLOTHING I like the Slater Kinney Target. It has a better selection of children's, women's, and men's clothing than the Harrison Ave Target. The layout is much better too. I need a good selection of children's clothing because my oldest child is picky when it comes to clothes. She wants me to buy matching outfits for both her and her brother. The SAME t-shirts and the SAME or similar pants. She is 5 years old and he is 8 months old. This isn't an easy task, but Slater Kinney Target makes it easier by having a great range of t-shirt sizes in gender neutral styles. The selection of pajamas is much better too. I love the pants and buttoned shirt style pajamas. There are easily 6 different styles to choose from VS the 1 style you are stuck with or the frumpy t-shirt style nightgowns available at the other Target. It is also a good source for men's pajama pants and inexpensive good quality boxer briefs. WOODLAND THEMED KID'S ROOM Owls are my daughter's favorite animal. I bought owl comforters for both a twin bed and a toddler bed, owl sheets, owl pillows, owl pajamas, owl slippers, an owl lamp, an owl nightlight, an owl hat, and an owl towel set here. She had me pick out an owl/woodland themed crib set for her brother and a woodland themed diaper bag. Target also has owl children's cups and plates. The collection has been slowly growing over a 3 year period and is luckily contained in the bedroom. Target is my go-to place for inexpensive owl themed things. read more

I've always loved target. They have products you don't see anywhere else. The thing I don't like is they seriously lack inventory. I have to buy a different brand of oat milk every time. Even their own brand, Good and Gather, wasn't there today. No brand of oat milk was there today. They never have any in the back, it's very frustrating. The shelves are always bare. read more

I don't normally review corporate stores like this unless something stands out from the rest. I have been into the Lacey Target several times and it has always been very well stocked and I can find what I want efficiently. However there is a problem in paradise. The handful of times I have been in here the lines at the registers are just horrible! The last time I was in here they only had two cashiers. One cashier had their register light flashing for " help from a supervisor" the whole 15 minutes I was in line.So in actuality there was only one cashier checking people out and getting them on their way. A Target team member that looked like a manager saw the long lines but made no effort to call any back up cashiers. There was another lane open but it looked like it might be an express lane but it wasn't just that either it also served as the service desk. The set up for this store in that regard is a bit odd. What they really need to do is install some self checkouts. I would indeed come back since I like this store but I always get reminded of how the check outs are when trying to buy something. read more

Made a $30 charge on it and then NEVER received a statement nor email nor ANYTHING from them til I remembered and had to research online how to pay my bill and found a $30 LATE FEE. Yesterday we had to grab some milk bottles and formula for our 2 months old while we were waiting for our car oil to get change at Sears nearby. My husband bought my 2 years old daughter a small sippy cup because she wanted it. Then we had to exchange the sippy cup because she wanted a small pony toy instead. (She is only allowed to buy 1 item that she likes when we go to the store). So when I took the sippy cup to exchange for the pony at customer service, the short brunette/gray hair lady asked me gave me the BIGGEST attitude ever and told me that she couldn't find the sippy cup item on our receipt. I asked her to scan it again and she was so adamant that the sippy cup was not on the receipt. She made me get out of line with my 2 year old daughter to ask my husband again if he had another receipt. My husband told me he had paid for it already and it should be on the receipt. I walked back again to tell her to check the receipt again and she looked irritated and told me that scanned it and the item is not there. Then the lady manager came and the employee asked the manager to deal with this issue because she is too busy helping another customer out. At this point I was so upset because the employee was assuming that we did not paid for the sippy cup. I gave the manager my receipt that I had that read: "portable dri" on the receipt and the manager rang it up and it WAS on the receipt. Then, the employee lady acted all apologetic and was like:"oh I thought it says "portable dry", which I don't even want to hear her useless explanation. Sad to say, the manager wasn't even friendly or acknowledged what was happening. After this incident, it made me realize how people can be so judgmental treated a certain way because of their image. That day, I'd came back from the gym and was still in my oversized sweatshirt and pants and a minority & the employee lady must've made assumptions about me. All in all, bad experience and they need to do better with customer service and discrimination training for their employee/manager. read more

Retailing 101 for Target employees: 1. If your Sunday advertising circular lists something for sale it is a good idea to make sure the product is available on the sales floor to purchase. The idea is that people might come in to buy it and won't if they can't find the advertised item. I had actually purchased my last gas grill on sale at Target about 10 years ago. Since it was getting old I did not bring it along when moving from MN. I saw the unit in the Sunday advert and wanted to check it out to see how sturdy the thing was. After circling through the outdoor section and finding an area with a few grills I was not able to find the sale model. An employee coming out of the stock area asked if I needed help finding anything and I asked about the grill. He called another employee to get a copy of the advert to see which model it was and went back to the stock room to check on it. He came back out and said they had two back there but there was not a demo model. He said they should have one of them assembled by tomorrow if I wanted to return to see it. This is the third day of the Sunday through Saturday sale and they don't have the merchandise on the floor and NO demo unit to look at to see if you might actually want to purchase it. While the employee who helped me did a nice job of helping me out I have to wonder who in management of this store has no understanding of the fundamentals of merchandising and having sale merchandise available for purchase. Considering that one of the reasons I was in this store was to see this grill I don't think I will be rushing back to this Target anytime soon. read more

This is the Target I shop most frequently. The layout is convenient and there is a good amount of parking. I like how the Guest Services area is in the front left of the store, right next to the entrance. Some locations have the Guest Services across from the cash registers, which requires the customer to walk through a busy part of the store. This setup is much more convenient. This store has a nice selection of grocery items, including produce, dairy, and frozen foods. The prices are reasonable, although some of the produce items are a little higher than some of the local competitors. It's always a good idea to compare prices to be sure you're getting the best deal. One of the things I don't like about any Target location is that they don't offer self-checkout. Whenever possible, I prefer to use self-checkout. It allows me to checkout at my own pace, keeping an eye on the prices to make sure they scan correctly, plus I like to bag my own groceries. I don't recall ever seeing a Target that offers self-checkout, but I hope they'll consider adding it in the future. There are usually not enough checkout lanes open, so this can result in an unnecessary wait. I'm a big fan of using recyclable bags, so I like the fact that Target give a $0.05 bag credit for each recyclable bag used. Sometimes the cashiers forget or aren't aware of the credit, so be sure to mention it when using your own bags. I would definitely rank this as one of the better Target locations in the area. It's clean, well-maintained, and has a good shopping environment. read more

Today, I had a small heart warming experience with one of their older male employees (I wish I caught his name). You wouldn't think of it to be anything too big or special but it's the little things in life that matter the most. My father and I asked the gentleman if they sold Tamagotchi's at the store but unfortunately they were sold out. When we were at the front checking out the older gentleman came running up to us to give us the last Tamagotchi that he had found. I know it's not much but it definitely meant something to me knowing that he went out of his way to do that for us. read more

She was extra obvious, no kind of skills of being discrete.I did nothing for anyone to think I was a thief but be a woman of color. It made me angry and disappointed. I think its great that they have a room in the fitting area for nursing mothers. However, this room is in desperate need of a diaper changing station. I had to nurse my daughter before leaving Target today but she needed a change before we left the room. I had to change her on the chair in there(with a blanket under her of course). Well my baby who has just learned to roll over. Rolled herself off the chair and almost hit the floor. I caught her just in time but it still scared me. Great place to shop for every day needs and for kids going back to school needs. Basically affordable. Target has a small place to take a food break. That is a big help with restless children. Target has specials right now especially for back to school. Target has a special red dot card you can use in their stores. It's not a true credit card as it is a debit card and takes from your bank account. You get discounts when you use your target card. They don't even check your credit to get their card. So enjoy shopping! I sure do !! read more
