Demo- if you are removing old counters & backsplash, be prepared for some slight repairs & touch-ups on cabinets and / or trim. Also, they do not remove your existing faucet, garbage disposal, oven vent etc. Nothing plumbing or electrical. If you add tile on a wall where there previously was none, expect to need longer machine screws to put the outlets back. If they don't notch out the tile for the plate covers they will not be as flush. We found both of these things out the next day while trying to put the outlets back in & covers on. If using your existing sink, the sink clips may not fit with new counter. We had to remove sink & caulk under. I hope this gives some insight for others as we had no clue of the process going in.

Nope we had to return them they did. The one older gentleman in the front was saying how easy they were to put together. While thr kids In the back were saying they are a pain to put together. Then he offered to give me step by step instructions. So he gave me cabinets without instructions. So we returned them bought beautiful same white shaker cabinets assembled at home depot for less!!!! For less!!!!! Then we buy butcher block counter tops and we had to go and order another 10foot one left at the store cause we didn't have room. Went to go back a week later the suckers sold it to some other customers!!!!! The nerve they have. They told us we should have come back sooner. We have a 30 day hold! Now they can't get another one for 3 to 4 weeks! So very disappointed with this company! We have spent a lot of money at this company in windows, doors, and flooring! My biggest gripe was loosing/selling the door we had found with rain glass in it. They didn't even seem concerned. I either had to put a non matching door next to the rain glass side window or spend $1000 to get one to match. I learned my lesson- don't let it happen to you.

While we understand that we had a smaller scope of work, we expected much better. Quality: they're are many defects that I am still discovering with workmanship on this project, and we are currently still waiting for crown molding trim to be completed for the upper cabinets (this project began in January). Professionalism: Attention to details in the planning process seemed to have been heavily ignored. The wrong laminate was installed on the kitchen countertop, and it took nearly two weeks to remedy the situation (see photos below). Scott (the quasi project manager) seemed to have a very apathetic attitude toward the situation when we made attempts to reach him after discovering the issues. Timeliness: While I fully understand how delays often occur in construction supply chains, KDC's contractors seem to believe that adhering to a schedule is optional, rather than mandatory. We were originally told that work would begin in late December, however demolition didn't actually begin until early February. With that, we were also given roughly a 2 week timeline for completion of the project. It took roughly until the beginning of March to have a functional kitchen again. With the understanding that we had a more limited scope of work compared to a full kitchen remodel, KDC seemed to value us as lower priority. Ultimately, I would strongly advise finding a different company to work with, perhaps somebody who has better oversight of their contractors/sub-contractors

When I visited on…read more1/28/2025, Blaine who was in the middle of stocking plywood, stopped what he was doing, took the time to ask if I needed help, gave me great advice on selecting and finding the appropriate product and helped me pull an 85 lb sheet of plywood off the stack and load it onto my cart. My experience with Lansang was also great as she patiently helped me find the SKU for my plywood and sent me on with a smile. I would only surmise that the authentic customer service that I experienced is a direct reflection of the management team of this Lowes and I am greatly appreciative of this for someone who does much of the work on their own and frequents this location about once a month on average. The only time I was disapointed when coming to this store 6 times over the last 6 months was when all the 3/8 inch compression fit brass couplers were sold out, but that was sorta on me as the online stock did say there was a limited amount.
