This is a high-end vendor of antique furniture. I think the merchandise is high quality and not cheap, like many antique malls offer.

Let me start by saying that we are no strangers to furniture stores. Given our frequent moves across the globe, we often find ourselves in a new house or apartment, where the old furniture either don't fit. Yes, like many others we resort to the large stores, the chains. They usually have a large selection, and significant discounts and sales. When we moved to Olympia we did the same. We went to one small furniture store, whose owner, disappointed that we haven't found anything to our liking, warned us that the chains will be happy to sell, but not very happy to deliver. Boy, was he right. We had months worth of struggle until we canceled some and received the rest. This time, we went directly to the small ones. The ones who sell what they have, and have what they sell. The owner was way more than nice and helpful. He walked us around, measured, recommended, and never pushy. When we selected two pieces of furniture, we were getting ready for the "delivery war". But to our surprise he promised (and delivered) that the furniture will be delivered by the end of that very same day. Sure enough, a few minutes after five, a truck showed up, unloaded, and placed the two new dressers in our second floor bedroom. We paid $20 for the delivery and the owner refused a tip. We will definitely be back. read more

Been a week or so since I was in here. My bf liked this store. I personally thought it was very high priced items. I dont understand how these stores stay in business with aps like *offer up . I was able to buy a couch i seen in this store for 799.00 for only 100.00 in perfect condition on offer up. I do think this store has AMAZING furniture if your very wealthy and want to fill your home with high end quality furniture and your not after a good deal or a bargain then stop by this store its perfect for you. For me I am a bargain shopper , the owner had a rocking chair in here with nothing special about it, it was unpriced he came over looked it up and down even got behind it showed up how the cover lifted off ( making it more expensive) he said 179.00 we were not about to pay that for 1 person seat being We were looking for the perfect seating for the two of us to watch the mariners games together and we would need two recliner chairs if went that way its be way to much ... so I am happy to say we left without that one chair for 179.00 now I am sitting here on a nice double recliner couch we got for 100 bucks . read more

This place is fun if you're in tune with their updating outlets. I have yet to find anything I would label as "treasure" or even a real bargain, but this place is locally run by a couple and is constantly churning new items which is exciting for any thrifty shoppers. If you go in looking for specific things like me and my fiance' were, chances are - they could have just sold a bunch of the items you are looking for, or they're getting a shipment in later in the week. Timing is everything with places like this. The owner of the store mentioned they are constantly uploading on their facebook page of new merchandise so you should do your due diligence before just trekking over. We did find a bed frame we did like and were willing to buy, however the owners were not willing to sell any pieces of their "set" separately which was a bummer. We got swindled by this place. Paid $97 for a hunk of junk dresser. Sure, we should have checked out the piece more thoroughly before making the purchase, but if the owners practiced good ethics, I wouldn't be writing such a negative review. I thought it was weird that the guy rushed me off to the cash register before budging the thing out of its place amongst all the $200-$500 dressers. When we loaded it into the back of our truck is when we noticed it was coming apart in the back. And when we got it home and I went to clean it out, is when I became aware of how much it wreaked like smoke. Hopefully some floral scented drawer liners will help. But if not, we're getting rid of the thing ASAP. Thanks, Treasure Chest, for selling us something for $97 that's real worth is more like $15-$20, maybe. read more

Found this store when we moved to WA. A friend, also a recent transplant to WA, bought her dining set here & was very pleased. We purchased a bed & plain frame as ours was still in storage, also bought 2 nice Lazy Boy recliner chairs. When we found our new home we returned for a very well made 50's maple table, with 4 leafs, & 6 chairs. Another trip scored 2 50's bedside tables & an all in one end table with magazine rack & lamp. Before going to buy a new microwave, we stopped in & guess what...scored! Husband also found a very sturdy desk & a few bookcases. We always find quality items, I feel they are reasonably priced & staff have ALWAYS been friendly & helpful. Inventory turns over regularly so we stop in often. read more

I just read the reviews and must say that the negative ones are simply unfounded. If you want to purchase anything, anywhere, check it out first to keep yourself from being disappointed and blaming someone else for your lack of "buyer be aware". Additionally, we have found, after 3+ separate purchases that needed delivery, that they only deliver locally and charge a very reasonable fee for this service. Think about it, if you rented a truck, paid someone to help haul it, loading & unloading, you would be spending about $60-100 depending on where you lived and how much you had to pay for the help. They charge $30 to ? For their deliveries depending on your location. Very reasonable. We just moved to Lakewood August of 2015 and found this place right away. We see no evidence what so ever of mass produced items being over priced. In fact, they have only a few bedroom sets that are mass produced and are reasonably priced and fair quality. If your looking for high end mass produced products, go somewhere else. The items here are very nice and very affordable. They even offer a layaway plan. What more can you ask for? This is a place that we have consistently shopped and purchased from often as they do in fact have many high quality products at a modest price. All of the items we have purchased have been delivered at a very low and reasonable cost. Our last find is an adjustable bed with a fabulous mattress that we purchased for my elderly mother. Guess what? UNDER $300! That's right! It works great and my mom loves it! This is a mom & pop business so don't expect it to be over run by employees. Like all other business, there can be a mass influx of people all at once with phones that are already in use by the employees helping other customers and people waiting for help. Let's face it, life happens. Be patient and kind, your not the only one who needs help with a limited supply of helpers. Spend some more time looking around. There are a lot of things to see. Beautiful antiques, very nice beds and high quality, gently used mattresses, desks, chairs, couches, hutches, shelves, gorgeous dining tables and chairs, lamps, vases, rugs and they even have tools & electronics! We highly recommend this place and know we will be back for more great finds! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. read more

The stores owner/manager is rude and does not engage customers. This is an estate sales store. The inventory is pretty good but way over priced, and way over retail. They are unwilling to price haggle. Nothing I saw was priced to sell. I found a table at good will for 25 bucks . The same table at the treasure chest selling for 300.00. Total rip off. Just a word of advise to be fooled by the illusion of a good price. These folks are here to rip you off. Good luck. read more

My husband and I love this place! Each time we visit we walk out with an amazing piece (or two) of furniture. We have found some remarkable, well-built furniture for very reasonable prices. Some of the furniture we found was even brand new with manufacturer tags still attached. The owners, Steve and Julia are extremely helpful and very nice. Not necessarily a LOT of "antiques", but definitely a lot of inventory and reasonable prices. I LOVE this place. I go to browse and have purchased my kitchen table, bedroom dresser & mattresses from them. I feel I got quality furniture from then at an affordable price. The guys that work there are always nice to me and gave me a good deal to deliver my items. When my stuff was delivered, they were very careful and nice. Been here a time or two and made some purchases-chairs etc. People were knowlegable and friendly enough. Very good selection and good product. Will definitely be coming back. As a plus there is a great sports bar right next door-burger and fries is simply top notch! read more

I went to JSK Treasure Chest looking for a dresser for my new apartment. I noticed that they had plenty of mass produced furniture made of particle board they were selling at premium prices. I did notice a few hardwood pieces with cigarette burns and gouges in them. These pieces were also priced at premium prices. I inquired with the lady at the front desk if she would consider an offer for a particular piece that had a relatively large gouge in it. She was quite snippy with me and spoke down to me stating that the prices were based on the condition of the particular piece. I told her what piece I was looking at and she told me the piece had not been there long enough to discount and stated the owner was not at work today because he has not had a day off in three weeks and she would not call them. I can accept this answer however her rude attitude towards me obviously demonstrated that she did not appreciate me as a current or future customer. This is not a case of a customer being upset because they did not get what they wanted but rather a case of poor customer service in a world where competition is abundant and customer service can make or break you. If I were the owner of this establishment I would get rid of this lady as she is obviously acustomed to treating customers poorly with an unprofessional attitude. Thankfully for me I have options that I will be utilizing instead of dealing with JSK TREASURE CHEST who appears to not value potential customers as their representatives demonstrates a less than professional attitude when it comes to treating customers with respect. read more
