Fast, friendly, propane fill in Lacey. I was in and out in mere minutes. I came in on a late…read moreweekday afternoon and popped in for a quick fill of my 5lb and 20lb propane tanks. Once I asked for a propane fill, I was directed to drop my tanks by the fill station just outside of the office to the left of the building. Once my tanks were filled up, I headed back in, paid for my propane and off I went. I appreciate the friendly and patient gentleman who helped me got me squared away with mindful intent. I noticed that there is clear abscence of propane refill reviews for this side of Lacey and I've always had great experiences with the Central Welding Supply in Seattle (4th Ave location) and figured I would drop by this location to see if I would get a similar customer experience. I was glad that I did. I am very well aware of the alternatives. I am not a fan of propane tank exchanges for numerous reasons at the big box store on the other side of the block. Nor am I a fan of going to the other locations where the employees give you the feeling that you're bothering them every time you ask for a propane fill.

Unexpected Gem Alert!…read more So picture this, I'm dragging a bit today, that late morning/early afternoon slump after doing literally everything spring related around our homestead. (And no, not a Little House on the Prairie homestead, just five minutes up the road, but with all the pollen, chirping Tweetie birds, baby critters, a 16 year old son, and my handsome, big bearded hubby of almost 30 years this September. Thank you very much. It feels like a full blown homestead!) Anyway, squirrel moment incoming!! Hubs casually says, "Wanna go to the flea market?" I'm like, what flea market?! He says one just opened up... didn't even need to finish his sentence. Honestly, babe, you had me at flea market. (Although I did pause for a second to make sure it wasn't some trick detour on the way to Home Depot or the sports store. Don't play with my emotions like that Mr. I know your tricks.) Y'all. This place is fantastic! It's just getting started but already has some seriously cool finds. Reminder, one woman's junk could be another's treasure. Super clean, friendly folks, and tons of potential to grow. Bonus points: it's right next to the German Diner and Pink Bikini Coffee Stand. Yes, you read that right. Coffee, food, AND shopping--all in the same parking lot?! My kind of trifecta. If you're a vendor, this spot has great energy and prime potential. And if you're just like me and love a good treasure hunt...run, don't walk. My teen and his crew are big into thrift finds, and this location near River Ridge couldn't be better. What an interesting assumption. She shows us the one they have and informs us that we can "sit on it, mess around with it...but don't break anything." Don't break anything??? My husband and I went to home depot to recarpet our home. Everything went smoothly until it came to…read moreus actually purchasing the carpet. When we went into the quote process, none of the numbers were adding up. After about an hour of calls and trying to figure out what was going on, they found it was a systemwide glitch that was adding an additional coupon for free carpet cushion. The sales associate, Louis (who was very nice), was on the phone with a woman named Cynthia, and she said other customers have been able to utilize the glitch, but that Louis would have to speak to his manager and get the approval. After a few minutes, the manager approved the sale. We get into the actual purchasing, and we signed up for the credit card and the 24 month financing. We get to the very last signature, when the sales associate backed out of the purchase because he missed a pivotal step. He redid the purchase, but when he scanned the credit card, it said declined. He called card services to find out we were already charged the amount (though on Louis' computer it said the quote was not finalized), and that the double charge would take us over the credit limit. We're verging on hour two when they finally said we have to wait for the purchase pending to be removed off of the credit card in order to be able to purchase, but that our quote was unchangeable, and that the price was completely locked in. The very next day we get an email from Louis, completely backing out of the price that was approved by the manager and that we were promised was completely locked in. My husband goes in today to try and finalize AGAIN, and the associate that helped him was very nice, but once again the quote was not accurate and would not let the purchase process. She printed out the quote and took it to the front to try and ring it up there, and a completely different price popped up. When they went to process it again, they said their system was down and could not process the transaction. All in all, while the sales associates were nice, this has been an absolutely horrific experience trying to buy carpet. I realize it was a glitch, but we were present when the manager gave authorization and the only reason we weren't able to purchase on Friday was a error on the side of the sales associate. Now we're forced to purchase carpet from Home Depot because we got the credit card, but if we had the choice we would absolutely NOT spend thousands of dollars towards a store that doesn't honor its quotes.
