When you drive here, you might wonder "where is the Dairy Queen? All I see is...an old gas station...that's turned into a thrift store..." Turns out the Dairy Queen is also in that building, the door is on the other side. It's a unique ambiance. I see low reviews for places like this...friends, this is a Dairy Queen. I sat at the speaker for over five minutes without being helped mind you there was no one in-front of me... I finally pulled up to the window there is at-least five people working. When this little brat with braces finally came to the window she just looked at me like I was stupid... as I asked if I could order cause I have been sitting at the speaker for over five minutes. She rolled her eyes and said in the nastiest tone I'm busy. So I drove off and took my business somewhere else. Poor service, long wait, extremely sub-par blizzard. We stopped in for a quick treat and took 30 minutes just to get through the drive-thru. I was watching and the car ahead of me had a beautiful blizzard come out the window (not served correctly). When I got to the window my blizzard was already soup. The same poor service I've come to expect of this branch of Dairy Queen. Check their website and their hours say 1030 I get there at 10 o'clock sit in line for about 7 minutes before someone comes to the speaker for them to tell me that they will be with me in a couple of minutes 2 minutes later they come back and tell me they're closed. Disappointed every time!!!! I have tried this dairy queen so many times because my friend loves ice cream. Never get the order right on the ice cream blizzard's. The hamburgers always have more condiments on the outside of the bun than inside the hamburger. My hamburger should look appetizing and I should get what I pay for....French fries are always cold.I wish they would switch out Managers. Training needs to be performed in this location. read more

My wife had a huge craving for some DQ a couple days ago, Saturday, so we went. My wife ordered a Brownie Earthquake with extra hot fudge. They are a little pricey at almost $5 but they are pretty good. We ordered and her ice cream came out in a few minutes, which was pretty good speed. The service is always good with the employees being really nice. The location is a tad odd though. It was connected to a gas station for years, then the gas station went out of business so the gas station turned into a used clothing store. Just a little odd. This place used to be my go-to ice cream shop. It's close to my house and very familiar. In the last several years, however, their service has gone downhill, their food has become sub par, and their ice cream isn't the creamy deliciousness that Dairy Queen is known for. Yesterday I stopped at another Dairy Queen in town, and the taste and texture of their ice cream compared to the ice cream at this store (which is icy and not creamy at all) isn't even on the same wave length. Have been working at home all day and wanted to treat myself to some ice cream. Place had no customers just one gal that was up at counter talking to the staff. We gave our order, I got the Peanut Buster Parfait. Sat down at a table that was very dirty, napkins all around the garbage can. The gal that was up at the counter at this point is now laying down in one of the booths with her foot up on the table. How you can mess up ice cream is beyond me but the PBP was completely filled with peanuts and all the salt scraped from the bottom of the bucket. I threw half of it away due to all the salt, but this isn't my complaint, it is the young lady with her foot up on the table where customers eat off of. As a business owner this would never be tolerated. I hope management/owners get on top of these 1 star Yelp reviews and makes some changes. read more

The ice cream here is very creamy and good, but on the downside they really need to put napkins on the table, we really struggled getting to them because they were in a corner of the wall at the front. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. It is an absolute joke. First off, they are always under- staffed, making your drive through wait time at least 10 minutes. Our sundaes were half melted, at least, by the time they were handed to us. My arctic rush was basically ice water (see photo). Also, for whatever reason, they don't have to participate in the "upside down or it's free" thing. I can't believe the place is still open honestly. Stopped in for lunch over the weekend. First thing we noticed and it was almost enough to make us leave was the smell. It was kind of a musty, spoiled smell, very unpleasant. We each order the bacon cheeseburger $5 lunch. It wasn't until after we paid that we learned they'd run out of bacon and only had enough for one sandwich. Really? How does that happen? Send someone to the grocery store for more. While both sandwiches were made to order and hot, they came with enough mayo for 6 burgers. The fries were fresh and hot. The sundaes that came with the meal seemed a bit softer than expected but were still good. This is an odd store. They are connected to an old gas station that has been converted to a used clothing store. To get to the bathrooms you have to go back into the store. The bathrooms were typical gas station fare. My husband and I visited this location on August 7 at around 2 pm. Actually we went in to shop at Sequels next door, but passing through Dairy Queen to get to Sequels was awful. The trash outside was overflowing, the front entry way (the glass doors were filthy inside and out) there was trash inside on the floor and the customer curtesy stand was half stocked and filthy, the floor behind the checkout stand counter was filthy! If it wasn't for Sequels we would have never entered the building...yuck! read more
