Found it last night, Mon 8pm... I thought "probably closed." Nope. Open till 9! Walked in & was immediately impressed with the size, sports decor, & friendly staff. Owner Kyle welcomed me to a bar seat and noted the $10 Special chicken plate w/2 sides; then I saw the beers on tap & realized the BACKFIELD is doing it RIGHT in the sticks of Iowa The menu has 3x more items than I woulda' expected.
