So slow. We wait 15 minutes and out food was cold...? Also zero customer service was experienced here

(it's a friday night). my and my cuzzly pulled up just wanting some nuggets and fries and a good ole time. i asked for a dr. "pecker" and the lady screamed at me through the mic. i said sorry maam was just cracking a joke. she said "UH UH. if you wanna smart mouth me in my drive thru i'll override your order." she was mad crazy then her employees apologized for her nastiness. i don't expect much more from a council yucky mcdonald's, but it's a friday night at 10pm! i sure hope she doesn't talk to all her customers that way! Updating my review as lately this McDonald's has been extremely disappointing in food quality, wait times, and customer service. One of the worst things is the new AI ordering system. It's seems incapable of taking your order in comparison to a real person taking orders. Our most recent visits were online orders and it took well over 30 minutes after ordering 15 minutes ahead of time. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

I had a good experience I took my daughter here for lunch. They were short staffed but did the best they could. Even when one customer was complaining loudly they showed professionalism. What can I say about this McDonald's? It's a traditional McDonald's. Nothing special about it. It has been here for a very long time and part of the restaurant is starting to show its age. The bathrooms probably haven't been redone in years as an example. The food is your typical fast food. You get it in a good amount of time and it doesn't cost a whole lot. I went into the restroom at around 7am this past Satruday and the toilet and bathroom was gross. there was actually hamburger pieces on the ground. This early in the morning, I expect the bathrooms to be clean. Overall, its pretty close to me and I come here occasionally to punish my stomach. read more

The staff was very professional which was especially valued amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The dining area and the restrooms were very clean and organized to keep both their staff and customers safe. Stopped here while on the way to Anime NebrasKon. For lunch, my order was Chicken McNuggets, three chocolate-chip cookies, a side of fries, two apple pies, and Coke/Sprite. Later, on my second stop after leaving the convention, I had a hot chocolate, vanilla cone, and Sprite. The staff are friendly, and this McDonald's is unique. While McD's is not very healthy food at all and this place being no exception the location for this restaurant is not too shabby when on a lengthy drive across I-80. I am sure there are more healthy restaurant options in Council Bluffs and the Omaha area but since I am not too familiar with the area driving aimlessly is not much of an option when also having your pet along with you on the long drive. They at least have a picnic bench at the back of the store by what looks like a dumpster but is actually a cardboard recycling holder so no foul odors. That way you can rush in or drive up and get your order and sit outside with your dog and also stretch so he does not have to sit in a hot car. read more

Yeah this location kinda sucks. Was in a hurry earlier today before work and went in to get a couple drinks because I figured it would be faster than waiting in the line in the drive thru, and they made me stand there for 5 minutes at least to wait for just 2 large drinks. Maybe learn to prioritize your orders and complete the smaller ones first especially if the person is literally waiting right there for it. read more

I like fast food sometimes, I like Mcy Ds. It's usually not a long wait. And the food is usually hot/warm.

The reason why people dislike McDonald's isn't cause of the food, athough that alone would be a good reason...it's because no matter what time of day or what location your at, it takes forever to get your food...here, they appeared to have a full staff and yet my friend was almost half done with his food before I got mine...Granted, the girl who took my order was friendly enough, but until they actually bring fast back to fast food, people will continue to dislike coming to places like this read more

Okay - McDonald's I get it it's not special or anything but the staff as kind of slow and not very attentive and there was a male employee cleaning the women's bathroom and he was in there forever texting on his phone (mind you we were traveling across country and I REALLY needed to go and so I checked 2-3 times) which is just rude when you have a pretty busy morning crowd. I would recommend trying to find a different McDonald's if you can this one also wasn't exactly easy to get to off the highway as it's in a strange part of a parking lot and you're not 100% sure where to turn to get there. read more

The pop dispenser and ice machine are funky! There's pink mold in the ice dispenser for sure! I had to ask for new cups! DISGUSTING! Customers in general but customers with respiratory illnesses like asthma shouldn't be exposed to mold. read more

I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and right now they are buy one get one free. I assumed the additional sandwich price would be adjusted off when I paid. When I asked about the price when I got to the window, I was told that if I don't specifically ask at the time of my order then its full price. She said she would do me a favor and give it to me this time but then she proceeded to tell me twice more that if i wanted the second one free I should have asked when I ordered. I could rant for a few minutes but the issue here is obvious so I wont. Imagine if i didn't notice the promo and I paid full price then found out when I got to work that one should have been free -_- I would like to say to this location: MAYBE when you have a promo like this and a customer doesn't specifically ask for it, you could say "Hey guess what?
