I don't very often eat fast food, but I really had a taste for a sausage Mc griddle. I opted to go inside as it was close to the end of breakfast and the outside line was very long. It was very disappointed. I tried to use the ordering kiosk. My order was accepted and I opted to pay at the register and was given a number. I was told on three occasions while waiting that my order was accepted, and then while trying to pay I was finally told that the order didn't go through. They offered me the opportunity to order lunch. I declined. Luckily, I was able to order breakfast somewhere else and my sausage crunch wrap was delicious read more

So slow. We wait 15 minutes and out food was cold...? Also zero customer service was experienced here

Updating my review as lately this McDonald's has been extremely disappointing in food quality, wait times, and customer service. One of the worst things is the new AI ordering system. It's seems incapable of taking your order in comparison to a real person taking orders. Our most recent visits were online orders and it took well over 30 minutes after ordering 15 minutes ahead of time. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

(it's a friday night). my and my cuzzly pulled up just wanting some nuggets and fries and a good ole time. i asked for a dr. "pecker" and the lady screamed at me through the mic. i said sorry maam was just cracking a joke. she said "UH UH. if you wanna smart mouth me in my drive thru i'll override your order." she was mad crazy then her employees apologized for her nastiness. i don't expect much more from a council yucky mcdonald's, but it's a friday night at 10pm! i sure hope she doesn't talk to all her customers that way! YOU WORK AT MCDONALDS BRO! food was great tho 10/10. overall experience 4/10, read more

never fire sully we love sully and Siri we love her too sully also gave us 10 free nuggies

I had a good experience I took my daughter here for lunch. They were short staffed but did the best they could. Even when one customer was complaining loudly they showed professionalism. I told one of the workers that everyone was doing a great job. My food took awhile but worth the wait. Thank you to all the employees and management. read more

Fries are yummy and the food came fast, underrated restaurant. The kiosk you can use is handy.

What can I say about this McDonald's? It's a traditional McDonald's. Nothing special about it. It has been here for a very long time and part of the restaurant is starting to show its age. The bathrooms probably haven't been redone in years as an example. The food is your typical fast food. You get it in a good amount of time and it doesn't cost a whole lot. I went into the restroom at around 7am this past Satruday and the toilet and bathroom was gross. there was actually hamburger pieces on the ground. This early in the morning, I expect the bathrooms to be clean. Overall, its pretty close to me and I come here occasionally to punish my stomach. read more

McDonald's - The mens bathroom. It was at 7am so I expected it to be clean. Gross. - Fast Food Near Me - Council Bluffs, Iowa

if I could give it a zero I would. the staff is incredibly rude. i approached them with kindness when they made a mistake on my order and when I talked to a manager she was very aggressive read more

The staff was very professional which was especially valued amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The dining area and the restrooms were very clean and organized to keep both their staff and customers safe. The food was delicious and was prepared with very little wait. Overall, I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and welcoming environment they've created. read more

We frequent this McDonalds often when we babysit the grandkids. Service is slow. Food is sun-par. Have gotten a burnt fish, cold burgers and today was the last straw when we received medium rare 1/4 pound cheese burgers. Done. WINT BE BACK!! read more

Stopped here while on the way to Anime NebrasKon. For lunch, my order was Chicken McNuggets, three chocolate-chip cookies, a side of fries, two apple pies, and Coke/Sprite. Later, on my second stop after leaving the convention, I had a hot chocolate, vanilla cone, and Sprite. The staff are friendly, and this McDonald's is unique. It has the decor for anyone who is a fan of sports. read more

Rude manager kicked us out of lobby before store was officially closed. Was rude and had no manners

Was waiting in drive thru for my food and I know a lot of the workers so we were joking while waiting with my food wasn't even there in the window a minute and some old hag named Kimberly was yelling at me to get out of her drive thru because I was making her time go up and I still hadn't received all my food. Wasn't even in the window 2 minutes and she made it seem like I was there for 20. Get better managers who don't treat customers that way. She death glared me and was extremely rude. Until I started moving then made snarky little comments as I was driving off read more

While McD's is not very healthy food at all and this place being no exception the location for this restaurant is not too shabby when on a lengthy drive across I-80. I am sure there are more healthy restaurant options in Council Bluffs and the Omaha area but since I am not too familiar with the area driving aimlessly is not much of an option when also having your pet along with you on the long drive. They at least have a picnic bench at the back of the store by what looks like a dumpster but is actually a cardboard recycling holder so no foul odors. That way you can rush in or drive up and get your order and sit outside with your dog and also stretch so he does not have to sit in a hot car. read more

Was picking up a order an was Going to make a order an they got a attitude an everything. Very rude service. Will not b here again. Because of it. Called an spoke with manager an she was plain our rude an got a attitude. read more

Very Rude and Unprofessional , The only thang Good about that McDonald's is the machines to do your own order

Ordered large fries which I received large fry containers that were filled half full. just because you give out large fry containers does not make it a large fry. Fill the dam containers! read more

Ordered a McChicken and it was tough and asked for it fresh and they gave me another one. It was exactly the same as the first sandwich. DISGUSTING! read more

Worst McDonald's ever. Fries ice cold. All employees out in the lobby having little caesers leaving the back unoccupied while guests were in the drive thru and waiting for food. Basic Big Mac was made wrong. read more

Yeah this location kinda sucks. Was in a hurry earlier today before work and went in to get a couple drinks because I figured it would be faster than waiting in the line in the drive thru, and they made me stand there for 5 minutes at least to wait for just 2 large drinks. Maybe learn to prioritize your orders and complete the smaller ones first especially if the person is literally waiting right there for it. read more

The reason why people dislike McDonald's isn't cause of the food, athough that alone would be a good reason...it's because no matter what time of day or what location your at, it takes forever to get your food...here, they appeared to have a full staff and yet my friend was almost half done with his food before I got mine...Granted, the girl who took my order was friendly enough, but until they actually bring fast back to fast food, people will continue to dislike coming to places like this read more

I like fast food sometimes, I like Mcy Ds. It's usually not a long wait. And the food is usually hot/warm.

Okay - McDonald's I get it it's not special or anything but the staff as kind of slow and not very attentive and there was a male employee cleaning the women's bathroom and he was in there forever texting on his phone (mind you we were traveling across country and I REALLY needed to go and so I checked 2-3 times) which is just rude when you have a pretty busy morning crowd. I would recommend trying to find a different McDonald's if you can this one also wasn't exactly easy to get to off the highway as it's in a strange part of a parking lot and you're not 100% sure where to turn to get there. read more

Why is this place still in business?!?!? Horrible service!! If I wanted sit down service I would go to a real restaurant. It's called fast food did you forget?!?! read more

Not a good experience. It seriously seems like they must have to hire from a different gene pool here. They tried hard and were nice, but it was a challenge to get simple things done here read more

The pop dispenser and ice machine are funky! There's pink mold in the ice dispenser for sure! I had to ask for new cups! DISGUSTING! Customers in general but customers with respiratory illnesses like asthma shouldn't be exposed to mold. read more

Do you want to be disappointed? Do you want to wait in a painfully slow moving line to be told they don't have what you want to order? Do you want to get food that you didn't order? Then go to the Mall of the Bluffs McDonalds. Guaranteed to cause you to scream in anger! Three times in the past three months I have wasted my time at this place. Never again! Suck it Mickey Dees! read more

Absolute worst experience ever. Stood in line for order ten minutes at 8:56am order was taken at 9:10 still no food, actually left facility without our food because they didn't have McGridles ready or egg for the McMuffun egg delight. Staff was fighting with each other one guy quit and walked out. Nasty dirty, will never consider stopping here again. Waste of time and my money!!!! read more

very slow service... pop machines weren't working and there was only 5 workers on duty.

I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and right now they are buy one get one free. I assumed the additional sandwich price would be adjusted off when I paid. When I asked about the price when I got to the window, I was told that if I don't specifically ask at the time of my order then its full price. She said she would do me a favor and give it to me this time but then she proceeded to tell me twice more that if i wanted the second one free I should have asked when I ordered. I could rant for a few minutes but the issue here is obvious so I wont. Imagine if i didn't notice the promo and I paid full price then found out when I got to work that one should have been free -_- I would like to say to this location: MAYBE when you have a promo like this and a customer doesn't specifically ask for it, you could say "Hey guess what? You get your second one free today!!!" Then this review would be about how amazing you are rather than how ridiculous you are. From now on I will choose a different location to drive through. read more
