They frequently take 15+ minutes for simple items. If you want an ice-cream, and 2 pre-made items on your break be prepared to wait your entire break and waste your time, as well as somehow have your order be wrong. This has happened 3+ times. If i could give it 0 stars I would. You guys need new staff, the only good and timely employee you have is the older madam who's been there a long time. Once I had a friend get me a plain cheeseburger, and when he returned it was a tripple cheese and baccon burger with some sort of spicy sauce... I told him he didnt need to go back but he insisted, and when he came back the second time they STILL had gotten it wrong and put mustard, pickles, lettuce ect. read more

I arrived at 9:40pm, they close at 10:00pm. They advised their grill (main source of food) was off and they only serve ice cream. Waste of time and anticipation. read more

Worst dairy queen experience i've ever had. Can't lie if i could give it a zero i would it was horrible First the bathroom was out of order which i get that happens. Then i waited in line for maybe 20 minutes only to hear that there lobby closes at 9 so i couldn't pick up my order even though it was only 8:57. Then when i finally got to the front of the drive through line they said they didn't have my order so they couldn't start it..she went and looked and there my order was...then i waited another maybe 20 minutes for them to make my food and got no apolog. Woah guys amazing..wont be coming back ever. AND THEN they forgot all of my waters and a blizzard. read more

service as bad machine don't work person came back and asked me to use my Face ID 4 times.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this place refuses to make chili dogs and it's really annoying at this point and there's ALWAYS a problem when I order a chili dog. I ordered a chili dog on the app and went through the drive-through and they said they didn't have chili dogs and that I would have to get a refund through the app. I pulled out of the drive through to try and figure it out then came back through the drive through and called them out and said that that's not possible. They had no idea how to do a refund and they said they would switch it out for something else. So I said OK just give me chicken strips instead. Then we pulled around and they made us pull up and park and wait for our food as many cars were going by us. They finally brought out food and it wasn't even close to what we ordered. After being frustrated and letting them know that this wasn't even what we ordered the girl asked to look at my phone and see what we ordered originally on the app. She proceeded to TAKE MY PHONE inside and behind the counter, and I followed her in because I didn't know what she was doing. Our order wasn't huge so I didn't think she needed to take my phone for that long to figure out the order. She was scrolling through my phone I guess looking for the order even though I already had it pulled up on it, but it took her a couple minutes and I told her I wanted my phone back. She then saw that I originally ordered a chilli dog and then proceeded to tell the other kid to start heating up chili. They ended up making the original chilli dog order AND giving us a chicken strip basket as well which we didn't originally order..... SO THEY COULD MAKE CHILI DOGS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!! They just didn't want to. I've had an issue every single time I go to this place and it's ridiculous. This whole encounter took over 30 minutes. So they wasted everyone's time, their business lost money because they got gave us free food and they made customers mad and I'm sure the coworkers who had to deal with all of this simply because they didn't want to originally make a chili dog that has five things to it. Hot dog, bun, chilli, cheese and onions. I really hope the owners see this because it's such a petty thing that can be easily solved. I'm leaving a photo of the receipt of our order so you know this isn't just made up and how not complicated the order was. I'm writing this today because today (5/12/26), I once again tried to order a chili dog with onions and they didn't put onions on it and then we had to go back and tell them we wanted onions on them and the kid said "oh well we'll have to chop them"... yeah that's what you have to do to put onions on a chili dog. This place is insane read more

ordered online at 8:40pm and got our food at 9:25pm! the service was horrible and even after getting our food we had to get it through the drive thru and we were missing three of our items. the staff are bums and yall just need to wrap it up at this point. I would put zero stars if I could. read more

took 15 minutes for a burger and fries, staff was sitting eating ice cream, terrible service and this place sucks.

Noticed the DQ sign on the way up the mountain and knew we ours have to stop on the way down. After a day walking the trails and kayaking, who wouldn't want a soft serve cone with that nostalgic dip on the top! Can't speak to any of the food items as I never eat at DQ. For me, it's all about the cone! read more

Been a staple place in sandy for ice cream treats and food for many years. The burgers are always put together nicely and tasty. This trip I had the triple steakhouse burger. It was cheesey and delicious! I added lettuce and tomatoes for an added fresh bite. I love their weekday happy hour where milkshakes are half price. I think after reading this you probably need a banana split! read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Triple steakhouse burger - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Sandy, Oregon

This is a solid DQ on the way to the mountain. Friendly staff and quick turnaround times on most items. Their flamethrower burger still absolutely slaps and it's a great alternative to McDonalds down the street! read more

Stopped here after picking up my kids from camp. My husband substituted with onion rings and they were REALLY good. The older lady was very nice. Delivered the food and banana split for the kids. Even went back for tarter sauce. Very very nice of her. We'll be back for sure! read more

Hot summer day in the mid-90's. Dairy Queen with my wife for one caramel sundae and another hot fudge with peanuts (in the middle) sundae - it's like a mini "Peanut Buster Parfait." Anyway, if you find yourself in Boring, Oregon near Sandy, and it's in the 80's-90's for instance - then I highly recommend this kid-friendly option. Drive through is quick and easy. :) read more

The hours say 10am-10pm and they are closed for dine in at 8.... It's not posted anywhere. Post new hours please! Thanks

Did not realize this DQ was so below average. I love a good DQ; this isn't one. If you like a good chicken strip basket (because gravy and Texas toast!), don't go to this DQ! They forgot my toast and I have never seen such tiny chicken strips. Compare them to the size of the dipping sauce. Talked to staff--they all knew how tony they are, say it is their supplier. Anyway, just a warning. read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - No toast and miniature chicken strips. Tiny fry portion. Be warned. Not like it's a global disaster, but it is $8 and a bushel of let down. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Sandy, Oregon

A bit slow, but they had some really great deals going so my family wasn't unhappy. The chicken strips here are pretty good.

Ordered a cookie dough blizzard and got 5 pieces of cookie dough on top and the rest was vanilla ice cream.

Very nice. Quick order, food prep was quick and accurate. Staff were all very polite.

Ordered kid's burgers got cheese burgers couldn't eat Very slow door locked just not vwell run read more

Driving through town while on a road trip, when my boyfriend and I got hungry. We decided that Dairy Queen would be a decent enough, quick bite to eat. We pulled up to the drive through. We were immediately greater by a friendly voice who introduced himself as "Allen". He was polite and took our order. We pulled up to the window and "Allen" who was the manager, greater us again with a big smile! It's refreshing seeing a friendly face at a fast food restaurant! Not only was he polite, but he was attentive. He wasn't taking someone else's order and trying to listen to us at the same time! He also asked us if we didn't mind waiting another minute for fresh fries. We told him we would very much appreciate fresh fries. He asked us to pull into one of the spots and that we would get our good shortly. Not even a minute later and Allen hand delivered our food! Refreshing to get some good service!! Will come again on the next road trip! read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Happy customer! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Sandy, Oregon

We have always had a good experience here! The food has always been on point and the desserts have been our favorite in town trip to make. It's always funny when they know it's us ordering a large amount of peanut butter bash's. read more

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Welches. One negative . . . . I wanted to wash my hand before I eat, I've been picking walking sticks & who knows where they've been BEFORE I EAT. The clerk handed me a key with a bowl attached, but the bathroom is outside. That means, I have to wash my hands after using the toilet, then hold the same DIRTY KEY WITH THE BOWL attached to it, THEN OPEN the door inside the restaurant. They didn't have a paper towel to dry your hands, I was forced to use the air-dryer. Meaning, dirt from the floor now is flying all over my clean hands. I have to use a toilet paper - ripping to shreds, while I try to hang on to the DIRTY KEY WITH THE BOWL attached to it. AND TRY TO OPEN the door so I can re-join my hubby while he already started eating his hamburger. Lucky, I didn't have to bring my purse. I have to deal with THAT TOO! And no I'm not a germ phobic, but I get sick in eating in certain public, and I wanted to make sure, this lunch isn't going to be wasted! I love DQ! With that said: The service was good, the food, typical DQ fast food, milk shakes good. I'm done! read more

Have been through several times on our way down the mtn only because the first one sneaks up on us so fast. But the service is not the best. It seems as bough the manager tries, but employees intentionally smoke behind the drive through sign and don't work fast by any means. In fact when asked not to smoke there they act like middle school girls and throw fits. I haven't been inside to tell how clean it is but doesn't look great from outside. The drive through lane is in competition with the direction of parking traffic so beware of coming and going cars. The plus side my blizzard was able to be flipped over and not spill, and was fully blended. But employees are not good. read more

This location is ALWAYS out of chocolate ice cream or hot fudge. Not sure why other than tonight, the teenager working the window said, "yeah uh someone just turned it off I guess." Pathetic read more

If i could give this dairy queen negative stars I would. Every single time I come here no matter what I order something is cold or over cooked. Fries, toast, gravy, always cold. I hate this dq. The blizzards are never fully mixed. I get the top layer that's good then when I get half way down it's just vanilla ice cream. Shitty costumer service. read more

We were sitting in the drive through today (7/28/20) and a huge rat ran out from restaurant to bushes. Trying to be cool we told the girl in the drive thru and she said "ya we know, they are our pets. We are aware but there's not much you can do about it". Gross. read more

Wow!! I see why such a LOW rating!!! Absolute the WORST dairy queen I've EVER ate at!! Customer service is at a ALL TIME TERRIBLE!!! You will GLADLY take my money and give TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD then offer me free blizzard coupon?!?! REALLY?!?! NO I don't want a free blizzard coupon. I want decent food, and service!! I KNOW FOR A FACT I can't be the ONLY CUSTOMER complaining about that THICK CHUNKY I have NO idea what you want to call it. (GRAVY) Cold fries, and chicken strips that tastes like they've been cooked several times. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND avoiding THIS location!!! read more

I had a great experience at this DQ about a month ago. They were very busy and the manager came and took our order as the other staff worked on getting everyone their food. My order was brought to the table and the burger was delicious and the fries were hot and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back and I recommend this restaurant to every single person on the entire plant. My friend Mike was on tinder when we were eating and he got a lot of matches. I suggested he should invite one of the matches to DQ for some ice-cream. He suggested that I mind my own business. Late I saw on his social media that he did end up taking a date to DQ later that week, so what is the deal with that Mike? read more

Was here on Labor Day and served by Ari. Very discourteous and slow service. When I asked about a restroom, Ari merely motioned with her thumb over her shoulder with a scowl on her face. This in no way helped me figure out where the bathroom would be located. With nearly no one in the restaurant, it took 10 minutes to make 2 ice cream treats. I suggest trying to find food elsewhere if you happen to be in Sandy. read more

I know what you're thinking, "It's Dairy Queen, what did you expect?" And honestly we didn't expect much, but holy Mary mother of God we expected more than what we got! I have never, in my life, had a more pathetic burger. One thin wet patty, with a single piece of plastic cheese, glued between two wilted playdoughy buns with a flavorless liquid I can only presume they call "sauce". The fries tasted like brilliantly seasoned pieces of warm styrofoam. I can imagine that if they had been fresh they would have been delicious, but only because I have an ENORMOUS imagination. Now, the food alone would warrant a two star review, it was pathetic, but edible. The reason for the single star is... (Drum roll please) NO NAPKINS IN THE BAG. If you get food to go, at a drive through, people NEED napkins. We are going to be eating greasy over salted food while driving, I shouldn't have to ask for napkins. Tldr: Keep driving, this DQ will meet all of your lowest expectations read more

RUDE! girls , not customer friendly, Smart mouth at customers . Disrespectful to the eldery with Grandson. manager had tattered shirt. dirty no name tag, could not even get his crew to listen. Although if I had a crew like that I would look frazzled too. Manager was nice, told them to straighten out , they were the kind that would snipe back . Well see , the whole town will now about this if it happens again . Treating young people is one thing bad , treating the elderly people with grandchildren is WRONG. read more

The food is always good and the workers are nice. I just wish they had 2 restrooms accessible from the inside dining room. They have to give you a key and then you walk outside and dodge drive-up traffic to get to the unisex bathroom. If I owned this business I would be fixing the restroom situation. The dining room is nice and well kept. Sandy Citizen read more

Went here with a group of friends after a Tuesday night car club meeting. It isn't unusual for some of us to stop by this DQ after the meeting for a treat and good conversation. We arrived at DQ around 8:30 pm and were told they were closed even though the sign indicates they close at 9:00. There were around 10 of us there and we told them we would make sure to be out of there by 9:00 but they weren't interested. Too bad. You'd think selling 10 or so treats would be something they'd want to do but I guess not. read more

We go through the drive thru often at this location. Order blizzards, but they should be called milkshakes. Have to take them home and out them in the freezer before we can eat them. Annoying. The workers said there ice cream machine is old. Yesterday we ate inside for the first time. Ordered sundaes to be safe. I was shocked at how dirty this place was. Floors were sticky everywhere you walked. Chairs were grimy and nasty. It was gross. I couldn't wait to leave. Will never eat here again. read more

Terrible customer service. We bought a couple blizzards in Gresham & these guys wouldn't remake them for us. 2 mini blizzards.
