This was my first time at a Chick-fil-A on the west coast and I was so excited to try my chicken sandwich I forgot to let the phone eat first! We went into the restaurant, to avoid the very long line in the drive thru. However, I noticed, while in the dining area, that the drive thru does move pretty quickly. The dining area is really large with lots of tables. It was fairly busy on a Saturday evening, which we expected. It seems well maintained and kept as clean as possible for such a busy place. Our server at the counter seemed like he was a newer employee but we worked everything out and he was very friendly. We chose a spicy and original sandwich meals with fries. Plus, added some chicken nuggets to try with some sauces. Everything came to our table quickly, served hot, and delivered by 2 very friendly servers. Everything was delicious! The chicken is hot, juicy and tasted great. The fries are seasoned great and the nuggets are well above the standard. The blasphemous part, I don't like chick-fil-a sauce. It just wasn't good! The honey mustard was so much better. The menu prices are very reasonable for the quality for chicken being served. Most other fast food restaurants are comparable in price now for their "fancy" sandwiches. I really enjoyed our meal and we'll be back again soon. read more

This is by far the nicest CFA store I have been to. We came to on weekday evening to grab dinner before heading to airport for our flight. The restaurant had large sitting area with tables and booths. There was a beautiful shelf of all the condominiums and a tray full of crayons and papers for kids to color. They also had a game for the kids to seek a hidden cow and whoever found it, they treated the kid with a small brownie. When we went, the restaurant semi busy inside, but the drive-thru lane had cars wrapped around. We put in order for couple of deluxe sandwiches, fries, Mac & cheese, fruit bowl and sodas. One of the staff member brought the full order to our table in few minutes. All items had the amazing CFA taste. Loved the big chicken pieces inside fluffy buns. The mac & cheese was delicious. All the fruits in the bowl were good too. The sadas also had proper fizz and taste. The staff members were so friendly thru out the dinner. Great Chick Fil A. Food is great like other locations. Crispy chicken. Fluffy buns. Very friendly staff. They have the screen board with wait time, table time etc. Self service for kids drawing paper and crayons. They also provide one-time use serving mat for toddlers. Very considerate and thoughtful. In this location, the game "spot the cow" is popular. Basically if kids under 10(?) find the cow in the store, they can claim a treat. Very fun. Seats, booths, high tables in the store. I've been here a few times and had pretty good experiences. The parking lot is ALWAYS a mess though. Miraculously I got a parking spot on my recent visit. Chick fil a is a go to for reliable fresh fast food option. We opted for the breakfast which is served until 10:30 each morning. Their biscuits were very soft and sandwiches delicious. I would not recommend the fruit. The fruit tasted like chemicals and the blueberries were rotting and mushy. I also would not recommend the morning hasbrowns as they are soaked with grease. My husband, daughter and I came here this morning for breakfast. The cashier, Caleb, was friendly and patient. The restaurant was very clean (even the restroom) and the tables had fresh flowers which were much appreciated. We go to Chik-Fil-A a few times per month, but usually to the Beaverton location. First of all, my drive thru order was wrong. I specifically asked for a large sunjoy and was given a medium. I was then told to go wait out front since the chicken strips were still cooking. Someone named, Kenny C, who I later found out was the manager delivered the food to me. Kenny was super disrespectful and not customer friendly at all. Kenny told me he was the manager and told me I needed to pay for another drink since I already put a straw inside the cup (not knowing it was a medium drink). What bothered me most was how unprofessional and how unkind Kenny was towards me. I'm not sure if it was because I'm Hispanic or what. Absolutely love Chic-fil-A! They're ingredients are fresh and this location is super efficient! Visited this location quite a few times since they opened, and I've always had supe nice, efficient service. My order has always been correct, and I've never waited in line for very long, considering how busy they are during weekday lunch times. I've had the original chicken sandwich (a favorite), grilled chicken nuggets, regular chicken nuggets and the chicken wrap. Everything was delicious. Their chicken is quality, no fillers or by-products. Their waffle fries are really good too, especially dipped in Chic-fil-A sauce! I also love their lemonade, regular and diet are super yummy. The only shake I've tried is the seasonal peppermint shake. It's absolutely delicious! The prices are a little steep for fast food, but since the ingredients are fresh and higher quality than most fast food, I don't mind paying more. Would highly recommend! read more

Stopped by our favorite fast food spot. We ordered the eight piece nugget meal with Mac and cheese and sun joys no ice. Plus a strawberry milkshake as a bonus. The nuggets were hot, crispy and juicy. Everything is fresh and tasty! And the atmosphere is one of the best I've experienced. The drive thru didn't feel rushed but it didn't feel like you were sitting there waiting for days. Also, everyone is so nice there! When my fries came out half of the fry container was just crumbs, so I went up to one of the employees at the front and talked to them about it and guess what, they gave me a freshly made batch of fries for free, and the whole time it never felt like they were mad or annoyed at me, everyone was nice and cheery with smiles on their faces. Meh it's just ok in my book. When they opened in Clackamas, the drive thru lines were crazy. Actually to this day, the lines are still wacky. Fortunately the staff is on top of it by having the workers take orders so it does speed up a little. The sandwiches themselves are just ok and doesn't give me any impressions I need to back anytime soon. The trick is definitely go inside to order as there is plenty of seating available. Based on the traffic jam out front, a line of cars on both sides of the street waiting to turn into the parking lot at 3:00 on a Saturday, clearly I'm the "odd gal out" with my take on Chick-fil-A. Could be that I'm not into fast food chains, preferring awesomeness from a food cart any day. And since food carts are everywhere in Portland, no need for the chains. After trying the chicken nuggets and mac & cheese at the Beaverton location and being far from satisfied, I decided to give Chick-fil-A another try based on the encouragement of Yelp friends. Plus, full disclosure, I took the phone survey on the receipt and they rewarded me with a free chicken sandwich! Refusing to wait in that traffic jam to go through the drive thru for mediocre food, I parked and walked in. Far better choice. Was immediately greeted and was first in line to order. Note to people, get out of the car and walk in! This time they offered me sauce, which is needed for the chicken, and I selected the ranch. They handed me a beeper thing and within minutes my sandwich arrived. I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service they provide. Had no idea they brought the food to your table; I assumed like all fast food chains, you wait to retrieve your tray of food at the counter. There was plenty of seating inside. High tops, booths, tables - all with a small vase of flowers. The place was clean, the stations where you get napkins and condiments was stocked and clean. At 3:00, it looked like prime dinner hour. Clearly people love Chic-fil-A! Opened my tin foil pac and was surprised by how small the sandwich was for the price, not my free price but what one would typically pay. And other than two tiny pickle slices, thin slices, there was nothing. No lettuce, no tomato. Hmmm. I put the ranch dressing on the spicy chicken (last time I had regular which had no flavor) and went for it. It was OK. Not bad, not great. Satisfied my hunger since I had left the house at 8am, swam an hour at the gym, then ran errands at 5+ stores. But it was nothing I now crave and would ever decide I wanted to have for lunch. But as far as fast food chains go, it was decent. I just think I'm not the demographic. If I had kids and needed a quick meal, I could see this being a viable option. But I go to McDonalds maybe 3-4 times a year when I am craving a sausage and cheese muffin, and that's literally it for me and fast food joints. I also don't do Olive Garden (it's so not good Italian food), Applebee's or any of the mid tier food chains. I'm more of a local hole-in-the wall, food cart, or individually owned restaurant kind of person. Huge kudos to Chic-fil-A for their super friendly and efficient customer service and cleanliness. They make a good product and definitely know what their customers want, and it's ok that I'm the outlier. read more

I've heard a lot of good things about the chicken sandwich so I figured I was nearby and had some time to kill and was hungry so it must be meant to be. I got the sandwich the number one just the sandwich without the fries and drink. I decided to go deluxe. For this I got cheese and lettuce and tomatoes. It definitely added to the flavor. I'm not a big fast food person and I rarely eat fast food these days but all in all this was fairly tasty. At $5.35 I think it was a bit expensive but then again most things are these days. My only negative thing to add to this was that the drive-through line was ridiculous. I suppose a lot of people wanting to eat their food is a complement to the quality of that however. I chose to get out and walk in the dining room and save myself a bunch of time while getting to chat with a couple people while waiting. If you like fast food I would probably recommend this place. I'm still baffled at why this place is so highly acclaimed for their chicken sandwiches. I've had Chick-fil-A twice now, once from their food truck, and most recently from the Clackamas location. I just don't get it. My food truck experience was most disappointing, as the coating on the chicken was not crispy at all. People told me the food truck sandwiches are cooked in the morning and kept warm all day, so I really needed to try them fresh from an actual restaurant. So I did. I stopped in on a Friday evening, and found the order and drive-thru process to be quite efficient; but I really wish the gentleman who took my order would have let me know that I had options. I told him I wanted some kind of "spicy crispy chicken sandwich" with fries, and he entered it into his iPad. It was only after receiving my order that I checked the website to see that I should have ordered a "deluxe" sandwich. What I received was a very large piece of breaded chicken breast that had been deep fried, then some kind of slightly spicy coating added. That chicken was then slapped between two flat buns with two small pickles, and that was it. A big hunk of chicken between two squashed buns. Meh. I find Chick-fil-A's chicken texture to be very odd and unnatural -- it's juicy, but also dense and kind of squishy. The coating was a little crispier than from the food truck, but still disappointing -- and still not as crispy or flavorful as Popeye's. If I try them again, I will ask for the "deluxe" version so that I can get some lettuce and tomato, and I will be sure to ask for some kind of sauce so that I can actually have something on the bun. Speaking of their sauces, if you get fries, you will need to specifically ask for ketchup, as they don't automatically include any with your order. One last disappointment with my order was the use of styrofoam cups for their soft drinks. What is this, 1985? Come on Chick-fil-A, pull your collective heads out... Anyway, 3-stars for now. Honestly, I'd rather have a chicken sandwich from Wendy's, Burger King, or Burgerville; and I'm hoping to try Popeye's soon. I hope to still give the Chick-fil-A deluxe a try, but they already have two strikes. read more

I love Chick-fil-A !! We are not close to one- closest one being 2 hours away so when we get the change to go I take it! This time we went twice. Once on Monday, and once on Thursday- in and out of town. On Monday the line was long, which is expected around 1pm in afternoon- we were greeted outside to order in drivethru and we were semi prepared, but felt a little rushed not knowing the menu well and haven't been in over 2 years. However we ordered and were on our way. I loved my normal meal, and even ordered a few new items to try. I was kinda disappointed in the salad. It was huge, but I wasn't really a fan of the flavors. The mac & cheese was delicious and very cheesy. My OG Chick-fil-A sandwich meal with fries & sweet tea was delicious. Thursday's trip was right at 10:30 when we could order either breakfast or lunch - we opted for lunch and just got our normal Chick-fil-A sandwich with fries, but this time I got the new iced mocha cold brew. I am on a first time your with my kids. They had never had this before or did not remember having it if they did. So yes in the middle Coronatastrophie we decide it's something to do. It's not fancy. There is no terrible lettuce or wax tomatoes to try and mask up the main meal. Chicken is what is on the menu. On the sandwich they offer down sauce and a couple pickle slices. The chicken is good real good Waffle fries just look better than regular fries. That's because they are better....way better. They offer grilled and fried chicken options not available at most FF. They also have gluten free buns or whole grain options. Lots to think about. They had some healthy options with salads and a chicken wrap. I went with the chicken wrap and was not disappointed. For us the star of the show was the fresh squeezed lemonade. Not really expecting to be fresh or squeezed when it was it made it even more fantastic. I was really looking for the big thirsty. A gallon would have been nice to just keep drinking. Service was incredibly fast. Between the number of people taking your order to the people taking the payments. At least 4 people running the food out. What seems like a bad idea as the cars were backed up around the corner and out in to the street moved pretty quickly.
